Paul Ramon (class of 2020)

I've been put on the wrong foot with EPM, and it has caused confusion and delay in my initial planned project. However, I have no regrets in doing the course, as I have learned what I wanted to learn, and that is how to get more student engagement, and therefore setting my new course creations up for higher success rates.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
That it is possible to get real student engagement in a digital course format.

How did EPM help you become successful?

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I'm in the process of implementing what I've learned from EPM into a new course, and I want to update another course with some of the elements learned in EPM.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Learning to create from what the market, audience or tribe is asking, rather than starting to create from my own personal experience and knowing.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I'm expecting improved (more targeted) marketing, better quality courses, higher success rates for my students, and therefore a growing community of satisfied customers

I was having trouble creating a program around gifts & position my passion in a way that would give my students what they wanted to learn, I wasn’t sure what to do to get clarity on the transformation I created for my students or how to market it. I joined EPM and learned how to serve my clients by understanding what they really wanted and how I could show them the value. I committed my time and focus on the training while staying open to feedback from my coach with the Milestone doc as well as Weekly Wednesday coaching - in addition attending (and rewatching) Monday's with Marisa and Implementation Fridays. I worked and reworked and reworked my mission.  I conducted surveys, explored Facebook and Linkedin communities, reached out to my personal and business contact lists, did dozens of Zoom and phone calls, attended virtual networking events, create a killer Fast Results incentive (2021 Wedding Trends Report), refreshed and re-built my email list to nearly 2,000 emails, ran email campaigns, and chatterboxed, chatterboxed, chatterboxed with every friend, family member and random person in a doctor's office or grocery store who'd listen.  And as a result, I've gotten more confirmation that this is what I'm meant to do, that there are people who are in need of my gifts & knowledge, the value in what I offer, and there are people who are willing to invest in me and themselves.  I've made more in my beta class than I have in a year of trying to "give away" my training.  Although I'm 1/2 to my goal I see no reason to stop and will re-run my marketing with a new class at 3 times the beta price after the certain success of this class.

"I am a doctor who is specializing in obesity and weight loss medicine. I joined EPM to learn how to create and market a small group online weight loss coaching program. I am currently seeing weight loss patients one-on-one at my practice and I wanted to scale this to a 1: few online program.
I learned a lot from EPM about marketing psychology and different methods and how to have a clear goal for your client so that they know what they are working towards, and when they have crossed the finish line.
Where I came unstuck was in my marketing campaign- I was relying heavily on an email campaign that would be sent to the patients of the practice where I am currently working, and when the practice owner refused to send the emails, I essentially lost this avenue of marketing.
I did also do a marketing video that was posted on Facebook and also used paid advertising to promote but did not get any sales out of this.
However, I have learned very valuable real-life lessons from the EPM journey, as well as so much valuable training on crafting a product, marketing and sales."

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Never put all your marketing eggs in one basket.

How did EPM help you become successful?
I have learned a lot about crafting a product with a defined timeline of delivery, mission, and a specific framework that is unique to me.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I feel that I have gained the first skill sets that allow me to translate a vision into a reality.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
I am more focused on crafting a coaching program that incorporates different elements that will not only be helpful but more engaging, for the client. That is, focusing more on what the client needs and wants, rather than what I think they need.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I have more ideas around marketing and sales and how to create a new product.

"I was having zero luck creating and marketing a group coaching program. On top of everything, the platform that I had been depending on to build my 1:1 coaching business suddenly changed algorithms and I was seeing virtually no new leads. I joined Experience Product Masterclass even though I had spent tens of thousands of dollars on courses, many of which had yielded negligible results. It was ONLY the guarantee that convinced me to give this a try. It sounded wonderful but I had heard many, MANY big promises that never panned out.

Marisa's ability to break things down clearly and concisely was evident right from the start. I began to progress --and I was having fun doing it. I hadn't been this excited about a program possibly ever. The creative part aligned naturally to all of my strengths.

And then it was time to face the marketing. I'll be honest. I discovered that even though I had no problem doing an actual enrollment call (in fact I loved enrollment calls), I was bumping up against a major wall with the chatterbox campaign.

I was really worried. What if I didn't make Mission Accomplished? How could this be? That's where Marissa's modules, the coaches and the amazing Facebook community came to the rescue. I remember the moment when I realized that this crazy block had been stopping me. It was amazing to feel that stress absolutely roll off of me.

Suddenly, things began to really come together. I started really enjoying the adventure of chatter boxing. Sales began to roll in. Plus I had already applied these techniques to my 1:1 coaching. Clients were re-enrolling like I had NEVER seen before. I even gained a client at my daughter's physical therapy session from the doctor herself. Plus she is introducing me to the decision makers at the hospital.Who knows what's next?

For me, did I hit my financial goal (and then some)? Absolutely. More importantly though was breaking through blocks to my success that I didn't even realize that I had. This discovery will help me definitely move powerfully into the next phase of my business and reach heights that I don't think could have been possible without this.

Without question, one of the best courses that I have ever taken -- and I have taken many, many, MANY! By some of the top names in online and live training! Thank you!!! "

"I was having a challenge teaching clients how to use my text marketing software (BrilliantMobile.com) in a fun and engaging way. I wasn’t sure what to do because most of my DIY customers just wanted the end result, but they were scared of the technology, so I ended up spending a lot of time doing alot of work for them upfront, so they could hit the ground running, thus scaling my business was getting harder and harder!

So I joined the Experience Product Masterclass because I realized that if I could onboard and train new clients in a gamified Experience, then my clients would have fun and be rewarded while they learned. And that sounded good to me!

When I first joined EPM, my goal was to only help my micro-niche, the Restaurant Industry, as I had been helping small chains with both their mobile and social marketing for free during the lockdown, but I knew that wasn’t sustainable. But even in Fall, at the start of EPM, the restaurants were still in such a panic, I learned a course was the last thing they were interested in. So, after a few weeks into the EPM program, I asked Coach Jordan if it would be OK to broaden my reach and pivot, and she said YES!!

So I started chatter-boxing with my followers and attracted some small business owners. It was about the time that more and more social accounts were being shut down randomly, so I was being approached by people with large followings that didn’t own their database of social contacts yet. These business owners wanted to grow their digital database so they weren’t 100% dependent on social media to share their messages too. And I had that solution!!

So with that in mind, I decided that I had been playing small for too long, so I threw in a premium done-for-you service and some bonus rewards plus social media training that I have been giving away for free to date, to increase its value!

But the perfectionist inside me kept stalling my launch, so my coach, Jordan encouraged me to just sell it before I made it! So I set a date to launch on February 15th, and guess what... I haven’t even started the training, and I sold TWO packages for $1000 each, so I have now Hit MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! Wahooo!

This is only the beginning, I plan to hit my stretch goal before I start in two weeks! Plus I plan on using this course as a bonus when I launch the white-label version of my software, to give to my resellers to offer to their clients! Win-WIN! Thank you, Marisa, Murray, and to your entire team of awesome coaches, but especially to mine, Coach Jordan, the most patient yet enthusiastic encourager! I am so grateful!!"

So I haven't hit mission accomplished because I haven't launched my program yet. I am nearly there. I am still working through getting the pieces of the campaigns set up but I am confident that I will make it. I have loved the program and learnt a massive amount. I hit a bit of a mindf*ck when the big content drop of the marketing campaigns landed so that put me behind but it is what it is. It would be a lie if I said I'm not disappointed because I am but it's just a setback and absolutely not a reflection on the program. Working through the program brought up old visibility issues I knew I had but hadn't got around to actually working on, so that was interesting! I have really enjoyed the experience and actually what I have learnt is immeasurable. It was the how to actually do it, the tech coaching, the experience side, Marisa modelling all the way through, the side door coaching and community and Marisa's values that made EPM the best decision I have ever made.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
"That a program doesn't have to be long and stuffed full. That simple is better.
To keep the focus on the outcome for the client"

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Clarification and certainty in the way forward

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
We shall see. Although I haven't even launched my first product yet I have another two that I plan to create because I know how now!

"Am so glad I joined EPM. The program is well structured and released in small easy to digest and implement pieces. And with the lockdown and not much to do, it was easy to focus on creating an online program that I have always desired to have.
I have learned a lot from having a clear mission statement to creating an experience online program. I set up a survey and successfully got respondents giving me insights on the problem I had chosen to focus on self-doubt and imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome is new to some people. In some cases, I had to explain to them what that meant.
From the survey, I had start chatterbox. I got into sales conversations that did not convert. My effort to understand why they were not investing did not bear any fruits. I had to look again at the mission statement and the community was very helpful and supportive. Hopefully, I will develop the one that speaks to my avatar.
The progress of learning and using the feedback from the experience has been great. I made new friends in the process."
