I was feeling so lost trying to find my voice in that crowd virtual world. I was always doubting my capacities and myself, I wasn't even sure what to do to move forward. I took a leap of faith by joining EPM because it was such an investment and I was not sure how much I could invest in myself. But this time, I decided to go all the way and especially not to let life interfere at my expense! The authenticity of Marisa and the encouragement of my coach Jordan allowed me to go all the way and on that way, I finally found myself: a creative WAHM who wants to bind families together through her fun printable activities.

I was having seeking a way to grow my business that allows me to support new families in a deeper way, build relationships, and doesn't rely solely on an hourly or per consult model. I knew I didn't want to just work more hours, and instead I wanted to maintain or expand my virtual support while offering an innovation that can elevate my business. I joined Experience Product Masterclass and through the the training and process of personal reflection, coaching, and exploring the concepts shared by Marisa I developed a new program that I supports families with newborns to optimize their sleep and wellness. I launched the Ebb + Flow Newborn Sleep Method and it has been well received by families and other professionals in the perinatal field. I am excited to see it grow, and to be able to come back to the Experience Product Masterclass materials and bonuses as I continue to iterate my way to awesome!

"I enrolled in this course because I did not have a clue how to go from a braindump to a purple cow experience in a digital context. I have a lot of experience in giving offline trainings on horribly boring topics, and still I get people enthusiast about the course. But how to do this online, a medium I feel not confident with?
The emphasis of the course was a not enough on this main topic 'experience product' - i handled the whole process from idea to marketing, with only one chapter on experience products itself, in my opinion only scratching the surface of this topic. However, the course itself was also a demonstration of the 10 principles that are to make up the experience product. It was interesting to see this in action, but also to see what can go wrong and how to handle such a situation.
This course is aiming on people who want to get a first success in selling an online course that will have high engagement. If you have a ton of experience in selling, and have already good retention rates, as is true for me, it might be a misfit. But still, from every experience one can learn :-)
What struck me most was the software used, and the 'income story' behind the start of the quest for engaging courses. The software makes the whole investment worthwhile. And the origin story of the company and of the online coach have shown me once more that experiences need to be part of a bigger frame of mind. If not, you end up with low numbers of students for a ton of work. Now, for many who are struggling to make ends meet, that might be a heck of a progress to get 20 to 30 people in at 1000 or 2000K, 3 times a year. But if you have a profitable business already, or seek to have impact, you might need a bigger view than just 'how to market' and still earn only peanuts as a bottom line. It made me think through how to retain high profit margins, and drove me to not trying to sell over two weeks to hit a money goal, but to invest the time to make a game plan that will take what I learned, in and out this course, about experience marketing and experience products.
So the simplicable definition of an experience product is all applicable to this course and what it brought me: ""An experience good is a product or service that is difficult to evaluate in advance in areas such as price and quality. If you sell an experience good, reputation, customer loyalty and word of mouth is extremely valuable as these are the primary things that customers can use to make purchasing decisions."" By adding new elements to the processes I already have in place to assure word of mouth and quality, I'm confident this new part of my business will be as valuable to my costumers as my other products and services are.
"

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Study purple cows even more, and put them into a system. The course was no purple cow, it was a braindump. The coaching, the origin story, and the software platform were purple cows. It also tought me that I never want to name a course after 1 chapter, selling a 1:1 concept for total newbees course as also a good fit for advanced entrepreneurs who seek 1:many and giving a guarantee that can not be reached by 95% of who registrants and that makes it impossible to change your mind about taking the course - very bad feeling of being misguided (to put it nicely) 5' after a buying moment is NOT a good start for a positive word of mouth. I appreciate the effort that has been put into the course, and i do see how valuable this all is to 40/60+ first timer women who want to earn a bit on the side - but that wasn't me. Takeaway: make your marketing, product and target audience fit together - even if you attract a different audience than you aimed for.

How did EPM help you become successful?
It has shown me how what is taught is a beginner's flaw, and how a real experience business (for it is one) works differently in many ways from what the curriculum tells.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
It took a lot of time to 'learn' about the most basic marketing and course building blocks. However, it gave me an xperiencify experience. That does have the ability to have an impact for my business.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
The biggest change in my business is that I have a clear script to pitch my course to people I meet, and a gameplan to make the course and its marketing work - not by providing a braindump, but by offering the self-discovery experience of 'I can work with numbers and be my own CFO'. And most of all, I am confident I finally have found a plug-and-play platform that will support this experience, while making it easy to build engaging courses - the fast way.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
A clear game plan for an experienced business.

Jonas Van Looveren (class of 2020)

"Wow, what an awesome journey it has been these past 3 months! I'm still very early on in the process of defining how I want to be of value through (online) training and coaching, but EPM has provided me with great clarity AND progress in so little time.

I haven't reached mission accomplished YET, however am more confident than ever that it is within reach. With EPM and some minimum commitment, I believe anyone can make it and get started! Myself, I am combining being a dad to a 2, 4 and 6 year old, being a husband to one and being passionate about my full time corporate leadership career - and still I made huge steps forward towards serving people outside of my corporate job, and starting a side business.

I'll be continuing with EPM and all the bonus trainings over the next months, and will be relaunching my 1:few program monthly - until I get those first customers in :). In the meantime I'm open to start 1:1 mentoring, with a couple of prospects lined up."

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
"Before you can make money in your sleep, you've got to learn to make money when you're awake.

This is the message that I see missing in about any (online) program that I come across. Marisa and EPM dream big and inspire their students to do so as well, all while being realistic and supportive in what it takes to start moving towards those dreams. "

How did EPM help you become successful?
"EPM chops down the elephant in bite-size pieces, and allows you to progress like no other program will ever do. By the genius of the ""Experience Product"" that is is, and by the great leadership of Marisa and the coaches.

I haven't participated in a lot of courses, but sure have seen plenty of marketing messages about them. I can't think of a single one that is being led by an authentic leader like Marisa, and/or that seemed to have even half of the value of EPM. And they sure didn't cost less, on the contrary! "

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
"It has launched me successfully on my journey towards a training and coaching business that can provide me with the impact that I aspire to have outside of my corporate circle of influence.

My present fulfillment and excitement about the future is through the roof since I started EPM, and I am confident that I will maintain this momentum in months and years to come. "

What has been the biggest change in your business?
"Balancing it all :D. Life to me has been about being balanced amidst the chaos of being for as long as I can remember. I had been going great with health and family goals in 2020, that I did not want to sacrifice completely when starting EPM. While I put any non-essential ""side activities"" on hold during the program, I could only optimize my schedule so much.

I am very satisfied with my progress made so far and am excited about months ahead! The challenge of task/priority management will always be there if you dare to raise your own standards continuously. I honor the struggle, and enjoy the journey as much (or more) as reaching the destination. "

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I've laid a great foundation to continue building on, something I would have not been able to accomplish on my own.

I've been thru the training and LOVED the coaching with Coach Sean and our group. With their support and encouragement and inspiration...I've tackled a bunch of personal inner obstacles and stayed in the game-- held my personal vision-- and even gave it all up and planned to changed lanes... and was then able to gently pick up my calling --the support of those on the journey from grief back to joy and -- this was my biggest celebration. I showed up authentically and didn't rush my healing process that this program brought up again! i reached out to get coaching outside of this program... because my heart still has some wounds to heal as i open my heart to help other heal their loss and take this journey. Once i went thru the material and saw the big vision of the Experiencify platform... i could finally see a way hat this might be the ideal way to bets serve my private clients along with an intimate group of 10 (widows) taking a step by step journey thru the 7 key areas where loss likes to bring blame and shame, and regret and guilt to our journey back to joy. I am elated that i can now see a way for this to come to life as a rich, rewarding and tenderhearted experience by using this training and this platform. I'm inspired in a way i have not been in many months. Thank you! Marisa, Murray and Coach Sean and #DAHeroes!!

Steven Mooi (class of 2020)

My goal was to hit mission accomplished before EPM ended. I managed to make my offer in my free training on 30 January. I did not hit mission accomplished because I made no sale. I wasn't disappointed. I knew it was hard for me to hit mission accomplished because my list was too small (there wasn't enough time for me to generate a decent number of leads because I did so only during the EPM program) and those few who attended my webinar training did not fit my customer persona (I will pre-qualify my leads in my future launches). Nonetheless, I am pleased because I've managed to complete my launch before graduation by following the steps and sequence laid out by the program.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
"(1) Training video #18 (M3V01) - Earn While You Learn: The Anti-Perfectionist Path to Rapid Product Creation -- How you (Marisa) use your time to get things done.

More clarity, more methodical, more organised, more complete, of the entire process from the beginning till the product delivery.

Mark Renton (class of 2020)

I have completed virtually the whole EPM course and now have a clear idea of an experience product that I could launch. Unlike many who are attempting to monetise current skills, my course focuses on skills and knowledge from when I was top of the game 20 years ago. Whilst the game hasn’t changed much in that time, I need to take the time to refamiliarise myself through both research and developing my course. It’s not the tools that I’m focusing on, but the mindset required, which I believe is missing in the current environment.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
That it is possible to make and impact and change people’s lives and outlook on a virtual, online platform.
