"I did my first webinar and got 5 people attend it. 1 sale and 1 conversation with someone who is interested but needed more information.
From those that did not buy I asked them for feedback and got the feedback ffrom all 3 that the offer was too vague. I need to improve the offer and the description of the product and then start over marketing and selling. "

"The greatest challenge was my marketing. I was just afraid of sharing my message and asking for money (still get it from some people that 'spiritual people shouldn't ask for money!). Chatterboxing definitely helped me with that, and now, after having 4 signups after speaking with people, I am confident that I not only people need and want what I have to offer, but also that they are paying for it.
One of the greatest breakthroughs for me was also that I have a tendency to overload people with all my knowledge - and thanks to coach Samara who encouraged me to do a Beta course just when I had signed up for EPM (I had 6 people who wanted to do an online course with me after a 5-Day Challenge on FB), I jumped right in and their feedback really helped me to see my 'too much content' very clearly. Also, instead of doing a lot of the training pre-recorded, I am going to them live, as the participants not only liked it better, but I could also immediately address their questions and needs in the moment. I know that this is the reason why 4 people are continuing now with me in the 12-week course, even though some of the material will be the same.
I definitely benefited from the marketing campaign training - that has always been my weakest point, and having a clear outline of when to do what, particularly when to send out emails, and even what to say in those emails, has helped me tremendously. "

"Being a part of EPM was a wild ride, there were a lot of things that came together for me. The biggest was the fact that my business is in its infancy and all the common information out there doesn't really address the huge gap between your want and will to start a business and what it takes to get from making nothing to making real life $.
Though I haven't had much success in making sales, I have learned a whole lot about what I'm capable of, new strategies, and new go to catch phrases to keep me moving forward.
I've made get start choices, allowed myself to fail forward, chatterboxed with over 150 strangers, realised it's not a matter of if but when, refined and honed my mission statements and course ideas getting closer to offering not only information but transformation to my future students.
I have made new connections, and connected a few key dots to help me along the way from idea to execution.
I've juggled my schedule, working a fulltime job, waking up at 3am for Wisdom Wednesday calls, and made an epic commitment to this dream that I've had to help others.
I'm looking forward to using my new found super powers to give to those around me and my family."

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Simple Sells. You don't need any bells. It's ok to iterate your way to awesome, fail forward, and be just who you are and ask for the value you deliver.

How did EPM help you become successful?
EPM allowed me to let go of perfection. Gave me tools to know how to start from no audience, no email list, no tech, and no idea and in 12 weeks design a course and validate my ideas. There were templates galore, support in all senses of the word. And best of all I got the opportunity to learn how to make experience products where I don't have to overwhelm my students with information they don't need. There is a lot of freedom in that.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I've taken big steps forward in getting into conversations with my customers. I'm clearer now about who I serve and the best way to start a business without over omcplicating things. EPM has given me the tools to start from where I am - no customers, no email list to building it up step by step.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Learning to keep it simple. That simple doesn't mean unprofessional. I don't need all the fancy tech, bells and whistles to deliver a fun-filled totally authentic and useful course. That it's not about information, it's about transformation.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
To not just see the possibilities but test them, build them, and give value to the people who are ready for their transformation now.

I was having doubts about being a solo entrepreneur and scaling my business beyond "done for you" services. I felt like I was always working and missing my children - which was the whole reason I started my own business - so I could be with my kids more. Marisa's EPM program came and just felt right. I'm an analyzer and always say "No!" At the last minute, but I jumped all in. The first 2-3 weeks I was sure this wasn't going to work for me and I knew all the marketing tactics and campaigns already - but I was dead wrong! The coaching calls where the game changer for me. I wasn't a soloprenuer anymore. I had Marisa pumping me up on Mondays and pushing me to take imperfect action. Then I had my coaching pod on Wednesdays bouncing off ideas and brainstorming. I made so many pivots, I was able to charge more for my 1:1 services, hire someone, and build a product that is truly helping a major need . My biggest take away was keep the momentum and fail forward. Mess action is better then stewing for perfection.

I started EPM with a little bit of knowledge of the course I wanted to teach but did not have a real solid idea of where to beginning and thinking I would need a course already designed in order to begin. I have not yet launched my course nor have I created a survey to peak interest of others to take my course to get as much needed clarity but I have found that while using the Chatterboxing Campaign, so many people in my life were supportive and routing for me! To be honest, EPM was overwhelming at times for me as I am brand new to this industry and starting my own business. However, t's amazing how when you take a step back and see the progress you've made in this short period of time, I don't regret enrolling and taking EPM. I have gotten much value that was needed and experienced a great level of support when I was scared myself.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
My biggest takeaway would be that I got this! I don't have to know everything and I can start to test the market before having a product that's done and "ready".

How did EPM help you become successful?
EPM has given me a really strong foundation to work with and I was able to hone in on my course and have more confidence to make it happen.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
EPM has provided me an abundance of resources and ways to iterate my way to awesome while also working up my courage and more insights with the coaching.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Getting started and making the choice to launch while learning

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
Getting over the marketing mindfuck and being able to go out there and live my message through an earn while I learn process to get me to the freedom lifestyle goal I have.

Nancy Ortiz (class of 2020)

I was having trouble figuring out how I was able to pay for my daughter's college tuition, I knew she'd get into every school she'd applied to, but I was concerned on how I was able to pay for it all. Her dad hasn't been around and I have been supporting us myself. After my divorce, I was able to buy my first house and we have been doing, okay. However, I wasn’t sure what to do once she graduated high school and would move on to college. This is something she really wants and I want to be able to give it to her. She's been let down so much by her dad, that I want to make sure she understands that I will NOT let her down. She's a terrific kid, and I feel it's the least I can do. So, I joined EPM and I realized, I have what it takes to not only create a course, but create soething that would help many people. I have been working in high schools for over 20 years and I know a lot of students who do not go on to college, because they get frustrated with the overwhelming process of college applications, and just give up. I, personally, have helped hundreds, if not thousands, of students, get through this process. Those who have stuck with it and finished, I have seen firsthand how much their life has changed. Therefore, I decided to create "The College Prep Success Kit" I'm really excited about it and through my Chatterboxing, I found many people saying it was a great idea and was very needed. I was paid to just present a few webinars on the topic. I then did an email campaign and I was able to get 3 clients, so far. I know there are more to come. I feel good because making this difference doesn't just affect those who are going to college, but their families. I love to see light and hope in eyes that at one time had confusion and despair; if they had no help, they may have just given up.

"Although I've coached for over a decade, I've always worked for someone else. I knew I wanted to start my OWN brand, but it felt overwhelming. I didn't know where to start, or how to build. Everything I read online only added more noise, frustration and confusion. Marketing and business development always seemed secondary to my focus of delivering results with my clients.

Then, I joined EPM and Momentum. Marisa showed me how entrepreneurship and personal growth can be one and the same. As a coach who delivers high-end results, this was the missing link I needed. I was able to get clear on my offer and personal branding. Marisa even outlined a complete roadmap going from zero to 7 figures in a few years. I can now see how my personal development is reflected in how my business is structured and operated.

I created an Experience Product as my first business asset, and sold $9100 in January! This is the most I've ever made in a month. I can't 'unsee' the vision that is now before me, and I'm thrilled to be on the ride. Thank you, Marisa!! "

"Right off the bat you’ll notice $197x4 doesn’t equal $341! That is because I was returning home from a year long overseas deployment and I started EPM while away with plenty of time to focus then returned home to some serious family challenges between the pandemic, homeschooling among other things. I almost quit due to marketing mind-F reasons, imposter syndrome, fear of failing and being embarrassed, but fought through that committed to go through no matter what only to realize the best thing for my family right now isn’t to launch my 6 week course.

However, I got in touch again with my mission at the start and that was just to create and launch an online course in January. Along with my main EPM course, I created a “bonus” course on the basics of weight loss and fitness which was going to be all online, no live delivery. So, I decided to finish that course, load it up to Xperiencify and launch it instead. I only sold 3 at $47, but I also had someone call me and basically demand I give them 1:1 personal training and they paid me $200!

EPM has been a wonderful experience, I learned so much, have my 1st product out in the wild (even if it isn’t my main EPM course) and my larger course is still on the launchpad ready to be marketed and live delivered later this spring.
"

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
To deliver the 1st course live, not spend months making the perfect thing no one wants!

How did EPM help you become successful?
Much more clarity on my market/niche, my message, marketing and how to deliver.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
I now know how to create and deliver online courses the "earn while you learn" way!

"I had been dreaming of starting an online business for 6 years before discovering EPM. I did lots of online courses, joined lots of business communities, dabbled with affiliate marketing but I never actually committed to developing a product. I have a brick and mortar business that soaked up most of my time and the whole online business plan was in the ""someday"" plan. I'd seen and dabbled in courses like ""discover your niche"" and ""create your course in a weekend"". None of these got me a result. I was still stuck and dissatisfied in my underperforming business with no clear plan of how to get out.

Then I came across EPM and could immediately see that I wasn't the only one with this type of problem of lack of results from online learning. It seemed like EPM had the solution to the problem - transforming info products into experience products!

Over the 12 weeks of the program I've gone from confusion to clarity. I've designed and started marketing my new experience product.
I have a chosen my niche, named my product, created a survey that got 233 responses, created my birds eye view, designed core experiences, started chatter boxing, learnt more about copywriting, created my origin story and more!

Most importantly though - I've had the incredible direct experience of being in a program that demonstrated the power of what an experience product can do. I have seen how to create massive engagement and huge wins for an online community and get them to really go after the mission they set out to accomplish.
