Your Graduation Story

For the first time after many courses that I've taken, things are really happening. Imperfect action, laughing (and a few tears) at my mistakes and all.

Everything just flowed from the mission to the message to the emails and marketing.

98 people have signed up for my free 5 day Challenge which led
into my program and the cart opened today.

Whether I make mission accomplished or not, I’ve learned new skills that will help me reiterate my program to success. I’ve taken classes before to build a program and never succeed. No fault of the course providers. There is something unique with the delivery of this course that keeps you engaged and motivated to succeed. Thank you Marisa!

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Done is better than perfect. I would hold in the past waiting for perfection.

How did EPM help you become successful?
I learned how to engage my clients and even though its day 1 of my cart being open and there are crickets today, my free challenge lead in had good engagement and my marketing continues.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I intend to iterate my way to awesome for the rest of my life.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
I had a successful 5 day challenge. I added 100 people to my list and I have an awesome program that may need iteration in my marketing to show that.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
Sharing my experience product in the Xperiencify platform.

I had been thinking about starting my own business for a couple of years now. I had planned that I would start with online courses which would make me passive income and for which I would need a big e-mail list and automated e-mail system and some platform for delivery. I had amassed a lot of free information about all of those subjects, but had nothing concrete yet.

I don't even remember why I was convinced that I should attend EPM, even if I really could not afford it. At first I had to do a lot of mental work for overcoming my resistance to pay for the course but when I did, the extra money showed up from a couple of different sources and I signed up.

I wasn't at all prepared for what was about to happen. Starting from the Niche training and the first module, I had to abandon all my previous plans. And that was a serious crisis for me. The first few weeks when I had trouble defining my niche, defining my product mission and coming to terms with that I had to start with a 1: Few product instead of 1:Many were really tough for me.

There were so many desperate moments when I thought that I really could not go on and I was banging my head to the wall, trying to find a balance between what I wanted to do (or thought I wanted to do) and what the coaching and training said was that I needed to do in order to design something that I could actually sell. So many times I thought that this is it, I just can't come up with any new ideas.

But being in the process, I just had to. Finally I had three product ideas for slightly different niches and was just sending an e-mail to my coach with all three ideas when I first had a Zoom meeting with other Finns on the course. With their feedback it was obvious which one I would choose. The coaching and the trainings were valuable but so was the support and practical advice from the wonderful EPM community.

It did get a little easier from there, thank God! I really had to apply the concept of "Done is better than perfect" and just keep on taking action and getting some kind of results. My biggest external shift was that I started to get the worksheets done in less time and with that attitude kept up with the pace of the trainings quite nicely even if sometimes I didn't know what I was doing. And I got a T-shirt from the Jump contest!

For me the greatest shift from EPM has been the shift in my mindset. I have never been one to take a lot of action if I didn't know what I was doing. I like to study things from books before I venture out and do them. Well, EPM changed all that:) Finally the role of action makes sense to me and iterating my way to awesome has become a lot easier for me.

I had thought that I would be able to officially start my business in January, so I could have kept up with my planned launching schedule and have had a shot in going for Mission Accomplished. Due to outside circumstances and bureaucracy I was not able to do that, so that darkened my mood. I did however complete all the milestones and get the XPs from the core trainings.

Even if I didn't have the chance to get to Mission Accomplished, I learned a lot and I will definitely use all that I've learned in my product creation and marketing in the future. And I got my first beta "client" who is now testing parts of my course, "Your StressLess Future - From Stressful to Joyful in 4 short weeks”!

I am designing my course contents and developing new products to fit my strategy. I've gained so much knowledge, tools and skills from EPM, that I am now in a much better position to launch my business in a couple of months.

Starting my very first own business at 51, doing something completely new that inspires me and has to do with the things that I love, even if I have barely any official credentials in what I am about to start to do, is a scary thing, but having gone through EPM it is starting to seem more and more possible each day and that is is a wonderful feeling.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you Marisa, Uwe, Murray, #teamcoachuwe, my fellow Finnish EPM girls Riikka and Marian, all the other coaches and wonderful EPMers! This experience has totally changed my life and I hope to be able to in the future also change other lives with all that I have learned from you.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?

My biggest takeaway from EPM was the internal change that I went through from being an over-analyzing perfectionist to someone who accomplishes a lot more and has the attitude "done is better than perfect" (most of the time).

I also learned that much of what I had learned about marketing online-products is not what a business that is just about to start should do.

How did EPM help you become successful?

Well, I'm not exactly successful yet since I don't even have my own business yet but when I'm able to start my business I have a much more realistic and down to earth attitude about how to go about marketing, product creation and product delivery in a small one-woman business.

Also the training about niches and how to communicate actual results for your niche when you are in personal development industry has been super valuable and gives definitely an edge over many competitors in the same niche who have more "fluff" in their product description and marketing.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?

For someone who is just starting an own business doing something that she actually doesn't even training for at the moment (only passion), EPM has been like an accelerated and very comprehensive training in many facets of doing business and with the actual product and sales (for those who are in that stage in their business), it feels like I got 2 years worth of information and skills in 10 weeks!

EPM has been really phenomenal in its comprehensive content, delivery, coaches, community and of course Marisa's charisma , deep expertise and empathy. Compared to other courses in the same price category, EPM is totally in it's own class and I'm deeply grateful that the price point is so affordable for those of us starting out.

Also the side-door coaching has been fantastic in always developing the qualities that one really would need in order to get a new product launched, marketed and sold in 10 weeks. The whole package is so well thought out step by step in what kind of coaching and skills we would need to take the next step and then the next and then the next...

What has been the biggest change in your business?

Now I have the concrete tools to start building my business and my products (which I didn't have before) and in addition to attending EPM I have also been designing my other future products and I understand better what kind of products to develop more strategically.

I have not been able to launch my own business yet (due to few outside circumstances) but participating in EPM has definitely strengthened my identity as an entrepreneur and having a business of my own is starting to become more and more feasible and probable. Now I'm thinking about starting for real in May.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?

I'm excited about creating products that differ from what there is out there because of experiencifying. I'm excited about being able to make learning new skills and accomplishing personal transformations are fun and engaging and an experience to remember.

Your Graduation Story
I have followed the whole course, and all its aspects, with great interest, commitment and enthusiasm. I am already an EPM ambassador, although I haven't yet got to the finishing line, because I am sure the course will get me to Mission Accomplished!

Because I have not been free to devote full time to EPM (due to current work project commitments), and because I am integrating and improving pre-existing marketing assets (eg lead magnet, eBook) and email sequences, I am simply not ready to launch yet (though not far off). Technical difficulties and learning several software packages (including for web page creation) at the same time have also slowed me down.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
That it IS possible to get an Info Product business off the ground, with the right sequence of tribe-building, product definition iteration, marketing and delivery.

How did EPM help you become successful?
In many ways, but fundamentally by giving me good guidance on the proper sequence of tribe-building, traffic building, product creation and delivery.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I have a restored faith in the possibility of helping people widely (and making a good living from) by applying in a web-based coaching context my undoubted professional expertise (and track record of success) in getting clients remarkable results from the sale of their businesses.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
It will shift from Done-for-You service delivery (ie selling people's business for them) to web-based training, coaching and consulting.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
Re-building my business in a way that let's me help a much wider audience, and with a wider set of tools, so that I can broaden my range of assistance from financial to personal, including even entrepreneurial couple-coaching (for which I have plenty of ideas!)

Your Graduation Story
It's been an interesting journey and although I did not reach mission accomplished, I had a lot of challenges along the way, but I learned a lot. There were times I felt discouraged and doubted myself, but felt if I just hung in there, I would eventually get it right!. I must have changed my product and mission at least 6 times! I even created 2 surveys to try to get a better feel for what my target audience wanted. I launched my business on Jan 15th, with a live seminar. There was only an attendance of 8 people, with 2 people signing up for an initial Energy Scan & Assessment.. So far neither has committed to the $1999 program that would have taken me to Mission Accomplished .I guess I wasn't compelling enough to convince them that I could give them what they wanted, although in truth, they weren't even clear about what their Health goals were! They just seemed curious about learning something new. Obviously I missed something along the way. I'm in the process of setting up a second seminar in February, which will hopefully be better attended and I'm targeting a different market..And I'm still tweaking my Mission! I signed up for the Xperiencify & Heroic bonuses because today was the deadline, but I think I really need to focus on just getting to Mission Accomplished. I don't know if I'm ready for internet marketing, when I still haven't got the Chatterbox campaign down!

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
It's all about the client - Give them what they want and make the offer so compelling that they are willing to pay for it.

How did EPM help you become successful?
I'm not successful - yet!

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I'm rethinking everything I have ever done before.
I have been an acupuncturist & massage therapist for 30 years, but retired for 5 years. I am coming out of retirement (after getting divorced last year) and wanted to take my practice to a new level (hence the needleless laser therapy and Nanoceuticals)

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Starting all over after being retired for 5 years.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
Finding the right Niche & marketing campaign - I've got the skill, experience and awesome products.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?

The BEST program ever and I have taken more than a few! Marisa is a bloody genius. My biggest takeaway is that I needed more structure and a much more detailed plan when creating a product. Now I have both and then some.

How did EPM help you become successful?

EPM has shown me why and where I have failed or was lacking in the past. I am not yet successful in marketing my new program but I still have 2 discovery sessions before the end of 5th ???? Who knows, I might still make Mission accomplished.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?

I was traveling in Asia for the first 3+ weeks of the program and had little or very slow internet so when I started I was way behind and have not been able to do all the things I had planned to do.

However, I now know how to do it. I now know what I need to do. I now have my clients language thanks to the survey campaign and I have a small list of people interested so I will continue to follow up and eventually will fill my program.

What has been the biggest change in your business?

My understanding of what it takes. I thought I can just sign up some people and do 6 zoom sessions but my program is now much more complete and will get the participants great results

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?

No matter what courses I will create in the future, I now know how it is done and done really well. I can now rinse and repeat and am sure the next one will be even better than what I have created now

Your Mission Accomplished Story
I was having major confidence issues in charging what I know I'm worth and setting up boundaries with clients, I wasn’t sure what to do ... because, after all one of my core values IS flexibility and while I enjoy having to wear more than one hat and helping clients in different aspects of their business, I felt drained. It was like my children were raising themselves because I was always working or doing some research to find a solution for a client's problem, always struggling for money because I didn't charge for anything but that little 5 page website... or for the membership site BUT NOT for editing all their videos.

I joined EPM with the idea of learning how to create a course I could use as a way of passive income, but as I started applying the things I was learning something interesting happened. I gained confidence on how word things and better explain my services AND price them accordingly... also, I lost track of my EPM and didn't quite finished it. My discovery calls started to increase despite the fact that I am now charging for absolutely everything I do. My end result? I almost tripled my prices and closed and brought in two really good clients to my business without even having to create a course or provide anything in addition to what I already do! All I really needed to do was tweaked a few things about my strategy.

I look forward to taking my time and go thoroughly to the remaining of this masterclass so that I can also launch 2 courses this year

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
It isn't a bad thing to become vulnerable if that helps clients connect with me.

How did EPM help you become successful?
I haven't finished the entire course so I know I will discovery many things this Feb. as I will take a few weeks off to give it my all to the course BUT. I feel that learning how to tell my story, how to show my service values were great game changes for me. When I started my business all I needed to show my impressive resume and that was enough. I feel like I got stock on that method and that was holding me back... EPM made me losen up a little while still pithing my services

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
Having more self confidence in my business brought more income, having more income allows me to have more quality time with my children and eventually the ability to get the help I need so I can continue to serve my clients.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Presentation, having boundaries: f I offer one package, I only stick but offer additional service when appropriate opposed to feeling shy to ask for more money or offer more services for pay

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
I have a shit load of content that's waiting to be published and I finally have a roadmap to follow and not feel lost in the process.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Thank you, it was a lot of information and so many details but I am appreciating it.
