I tried to sell this course for $197 to my list in September and only got 2 people to enroll and I cancelled it. I had no intention of taking ANOTHER course because I had just done Alina Vincent's 3 day program, and was still enrolled in a $7000 coaching program from Growth University/Brian Harris. I struggled the entire time with chatterboxing and still have so much more to learn, but I did a reverse webinar and perfect email campaign and got 6 of my current/recent 1:1 clients, plus one bought for a friend and the other is someone I did a validation interview with 2 years ago when taking Amy Porterfield's course! I wanted to create an online course on eliminating limiting beliefs, and when I started coaching with Paul and Marisa, I was initially frustrated that they did not think it was right to just talk directly about limiting beliefs because the people who may have them do not identify as such. I initially resisted this idea as I believe beliefs drive everything we do. I later had a light bulb moment when the truth of what Paul and Marisa were saying, came home to me, that although our beliefs are critical, its the symptoms of those beliefs that drives people to change, so the hook to start on the transformation journey is often an attempt to resolve the symptoms of the core problem, and in that journey you also get what you need, and resolve the core problem. This was the biggest take away for me, as I was stuck on why people were not interested in what I thought was good for them, EPM helped me to flip the switch and focus on the experience of the customer and what they felt they needed, not what I thought they needed! At this stage, I have not launched my MVP, but will certainly be launching in the near future. This was an amazing course, thanks Marisa and your team. I have a full time job and wanted to launch a side hustle that I could grow into my next full time venture. Your GRADUATION Story
I was considering developing a course for weight management using my previous hypnotherapy skills and experience. I kept procrastinating. Nothing I came up with seemed good enough to put out there and charge money for. I joined EPM and I learned that my program did not have to be perfect out the gate. The watch words were 'Iterate Your Way to Awesome'. I used the tools and training available in EPM to develop my product. The coaching and inspiration from Marisa and her team were like gold, supporting me every step of the way. Illness delayed my launch, but my product has been scheduled-forward to launch March 4th.
I now have a product to promote and sell. It has gone from a day-dream to a reality. I have over-come my procrastination and over-thinking to make it happen. "As a habitual procrastinator and someone who has self-sabotaged countless entrepreneurial dreams and online trainings, EPM has been the one course that I have completed. I may not have reached Mission Accomplished, but I did adapt, expand, market and re-launch my parenting course that focuses on helping parents create a better relationship with their children.
Two years ago I tried to revive this course which I originally created 15 years ago, but had been laying dormant on my bookshelf gathering dust and cobwebs. That attempt failed, as usual. Come 2020, the year of COVID lockdowns, I had the idea to re-launch and adapt my original course into something that could be offered on digital platforms in a safe way and to a broader audience.
