Your GRADUATION Story
I did not know how to create my new online group coaching and training. I did not what to do and how to develop it so I was procrastinating it. I joined EMP and I learned the step by step process to create my new online product. I just followed all instructions provided and implemented everything as I was advancing with the course. I now have a solid blueprint and foundation for my course. I gained confidence and I am happy that a plan is in place to launch my new product and to develop my module as I am launching.

I was having trouble carving out the time and holding myself accountable for launching a coaching offer. The biggest road block was that I thought I had to have the offer totally figured out before launching. I joined EPM and realized I didn't have to have it all figured out, that I could launch a minimal viable product. I worked through the modules and launched my MVP product by the end of the program.

"For years I've had a big problem telling people about what I do in my business. It always required further explanation to clarify the program and, so I thought, increase credibility. I think it created confusion and affected my sales. But I kept trying.
I've followed Marisa for a couple of years and this year decided to say 'yes'. So I joined EPM and, while I was a bit skeptical about doing what I did in 90 days, I jumped in anyway. Creating the mission possible statement was a game changer for me because it gave me clear, succinct language to use when talking about my experience product (or any product, for that matter). That may not sound like a big deal, but this is my 4th time joining a program trying to get my marketing messages clear and succinct so that I could confidently & briefly deliver them. This time I got what I came for...and so much more!
Toward the latter part of EPM, companies in my former industry, tech, started making major layoff announcement. I knew people were nervous and afraid, so I got a God idea to host a session for women being laid off in the tech industry that focused on taking care of themselves personally to prepare for a job search or whatever is next for them. I invited 2 other partners & put together the messaging for the event. The response was wonderful. Even long-term friends who had never said yes to anything, registered to attend. The EPM training has already helped to make a difference beyond my MVP product."

Your GRADUATION Story
I previously hired a coaching team, and they didn't deliver on their promise, so I was leery and prepared to give up on my desire to build online mental health programs. I joined EPM and knew right away that it was different. I learned the importance of taking small steps. I kept to the schedule which allowed me to not get overwhelmed, to complete my tasks, and to graduate!

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
I had known for a while that I wanted to create a program to support more people on their journey toward better mental health, but I had no idea how to go about it. I had so much going on in my mind, but may attention was scattered. I joined EPM and learned how to focus my energies on one aspect of product building at a time AND the order in which to do it. I followed the steps and found focus. My product is designed and launched. And it's starting to sell.

Your FIRST SALE Story
I would tend to get tongue-tied trying to talk about my program and end up feeling like an idiot who didn't know her own s#!t. EPM taught me chatterboxing, and, through practice, I became so comfortable talking about what I was offering, I could/would do it everywhere. On my last day at my day job a woman I don't didn't work intimately with asked about my future plans. I chatterboxed my little heart out - but in a very natural, conversational way - and we set up a Zoom call to discuss her needs and see if my product was something that would serve her. She bought it immediately afterward.

What's been the biggest change in your business?
My ability to talk about it

How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
I have gained confidence and retired from my day job!

What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
"The importance of building a solid foundation. That's important for me as I create but vital to incorporate into the experience products I build.
Create a product people actually want to engage with!"

What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
The sky's the limit!

Teresa (class of 2022)

I was having a mindset challenge in my business, thinking I couldn't go further because I couldn't find the way to sell my knowledge instead of other people's products. I wasn’t sure how to go forward and change my thinking then after I joined "live your message" and learnt how to make a program I have been unstoppable. I did the course and surprisingly finished it with a paper plane model of my own Program to help people change their lives where Chronic Pain is concerned.

Your GRADUATION Story
I was struggling going from wanting to help others to knowing how I could do it. I wasn't sure how to make it profitable for me and helpful for others. I joined EPM and gained the confidence, comfort, and knowledge of how to craft my marketing copy, work through technology fears, and launch a program I know women want and will help them. I found the strength to offer a consult call, use the appropriate communication on the call, and close a sale.

What's been the biggest change in your business?
Finding the time to do what I need to do. I currently have a full caseload of therapy clients as well as freelance writing contracts. I cannot spend as much time as I need on social media. I have had to find acceptance that it is ok to go slow and not compare myself to others.

How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
I feel confident that I have created an excellent program that will help women and created strong marketing and sales copy with the help and support from EPM.

What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I can help women with chronic illness find the strength to face each day and talk to them/others about it with confidence.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
This program has been worth every penny. I have simultaneously been working another program more specifically designed for therapists moving into coaching and the 2 have paired so nicely.

Chris Griffin (class of 2022)

I was having the problem of having a successful hands-on workshop, but trying to take elements of that and build a successful digital online course were a major challenge. I had tried in the past to build a digital course, but I fell victim to the desire to deliver way too much content and it flopped. I joined EPM and discovered that it was very common to try to overdeliver and confuse a marketing message, so I decided to rebuild the digital course with only 25% of the content of the previous attempt. This time I targeted my marketing specifically for digital dentures instead of all things that can be 3D printed in a dental office and the marketing hit home (with a little help from Marisa's perfect email campaign template.) I was also lucky to hear Marisa say in one video that it wasn't uncommon to make up to 80% of your total sales on the last 2 days of a campaign. If I hadn't heard her say that, I might have pulled the plug after day 3 of my 8 day campaign when I only had 3 total sales. Trusting her advice, I stayed the course and sent way more emails on the last 2 days than I was comfortable sending. And, wouldn't you know it. We had 20 signups on those last 2 days. Thank you Marisa for all the support and experience you brought to the original experience product, EPM!

Lydia Rieger (class of 2022)

Your GRADUATION Story
I was struggling with honing in on my niche and enrolling the number of clients I desired. It had been over a year since I took a client through a complete 3 month coaching program. I would get frustrated every time I set a marketing goal because as much as I wanted to help people, my process of attracting clients was not congruent with my life. I joined the EPM and discovered that the number one reason why things weren't working for me was that I was trying to follow someone else's plan. In EPM I learned the step by step process of discovering my niche and creating an experience product that will take my clients to a solid achievable goal, something else I believe was missing in my coaching. In EMP I created a mission for my clients, marketing words to use in print and in conversation. I gained even more confidence to talk about my programs and how they can help people.

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
Before EMP I had be trained in giving strategy sessions that focus on serving the client so that when they said yes that they want to invest in themselves but there was something stopping them, I had a script to help the client so they could easily make the decision to invest in a program with me. at least 75% of the time clients invested. Although I improved with the script over time I sometimes find it difficult to work with and had to adapt it often. I also would often scramble toward the end of the closing to find the right thing to say when the clients' issues came up for reasons why they shouldn't invest. This was very frustrating when I could clearly see the clients wanted a solution, had a block, and I didn't want to seem salesy or pushy. In EMP I learned the 5 pivots of sealing the deal and although there are similar steps to what I was already doing, the 5 pivots are more natural and easier to accomplish. I have already taken one person through the closing conversation and at no point did I feel salesy. It was a natural easy conversation and the client felt heard and appreciated. Her commitment level is at a 9 to make a shift this year. She is considering the program I am offering and we are having a follow-up conversation in a week.

What's been the biggest change in your business?
The biggest change in my business so far is having a real focus on who I am serving and with what specifically am I serving them with- their mission. Having that goal is a real game changer. For me, too, a real game changer is the 3 tiered goal- minimum, target, and stretch. Also having some real plans and systems in place for my business, such as the product fulfillment sheet and the chatterboxing plan are super. I know these tools will catapult me in the right business direction..

How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
I have reignited excitement for my business and I am confident I can help homeschool mamas like me who want to run a business! I am generally more upbeat and feel more secure with a very workable life-giving plan of action!

What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
There are so many! One of my biggest ones is that you can iterate your way to awesome and make money in any stage of your business.

What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
What is now possible is fulfilling my dream of working with 30 moms in my 12 week live coaching program. Fulfilling this dream will allow me to impact these women, their families and beyond. I will also be able to pay off my debt and build wealth, give back to the community more, do more for my family, and renovate my house and pool!

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Just a HUGE thank you! This was the program - the missing link - after learning everything I had learned from being a Life Mastery Consultant with the Brave Thinking Institute.

"I feel that I was led to Marisa.

I was at the exact time that I was planning to create a course and I wasn’t sure how to go about it. Googling how to “create a course” only led to overwhelm!

It was at this point that a friend of mine spoke about Marisa’s “Crack Your Course” Challenge. I immediately signed up and I can tell you that I was convinced from Day 1 that I wanted to work with Marisa. I actually felt that the offer to join EPM came late!

I joined EPM and it was great. I loved how organized it was, I loved the logical structure and moving from one milestone to another. I loved the support I received from Coach Emily. I loved the Monday’s with Marisa and the technical myth buster, Get It Done Friday. The concept of an MYP made sense to me and I embraced it. I can be sure that if I had done this on my own I was going to build a whole course before I made my first sale.

I learnt the power of clear messaging to attract one’s ideal client. The power of having clarity on who the ideal client. Most importantly I learnt to embrace “Progress Over Perfection” and that we experience “breakdowns before breakthroughs.

All these learnings led me to launching my MVP!

At the time of writing this, I am at the stage of getting people to chatterbox with. This part, has been the most challenging and I am looking forward to crossing this hurdle and getting over to the promised land of serving and creating the life that I desire!"
