Your GRADUATION Story
I was having the hardest time completing so many programs that promised it was THE solution to help me not only move my business forward, but thrive. Almost all were filled with empty promises. Or what was marketed and sold was not actually represented in the program itself. So disappointing. I joined EPM and not only finished, but I am building so much momentum. Almost everyone I have talked to loves my Experience Product. And if it wasn't for them, they would recommend it to AT LEAST 1 person. EPM has taught me so much about creating and marketing an Experience Product, but more so I have learned how to have the right mindset, breakthrough blocks, and leaned in to discomfort to #ItterateMyWayToAwesome.

What's been the biggest change in your business?
I'm not trying the next shiney object in hopes my business would move forward, but but I have created something I love, people really want, and the sky is the limit.

How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
EPM made me more motivated, challenged me to push through and break down limiting beliefs, and my results are through the roof. And not just my business has changed. They say how you do one thing is how you do everything. I noticed how the small changes I was making to my Experience Product and business where drastically shift the trajectory of my success. Likewise, I started making small changes in multiple areas of my life and the shift and results were transformational.

What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Take a chance... you might be surprised what is possible.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
From the bottom of my heart, thank you! This is just the beginning!

"(NOTE) As I write this I am in the fourth day of a hospital stay battling an infection. This was not a delay I needed. Thanks Coach Paul for dragging me across the finish line.

BUT, I finally conquered the MVP track! Whoot!.

When I started into this I have to admit to a little overconfidence. After all, unlike “the 95%” I have successfully concluded at least two other courses. But nothing like this.

Along with life’s rude and untimely interruptions several timeless adages come to mind as I reflect on my journey. Foremost is the tortoise and the hare (I am the former, to be sure, just ask coach Paul)

Another one is the one about teaching old dogs new tricks. The most obvious new trick is yet another adage, putting the cart before the horse . Whoever heard of selling a course that doesn’t yet exist? Trust the process they told me, keep moving forward they told me. OK.

And the final adage, which I am sure you all can relate to, is like trying to drink from a firehose. I am pretty sure I heard Marisa lean into this one more than once. As the firehose stream flowed I plodded along as best I could, trying to surf a tsunami of content; the quantity of which was only surpassed by its quality. Trust me on this, I’m a content specialist.

About three quarters into the program, and a bucket load of iterations, an image began to emerge. And the more I worked the plan, the clearer the picture became. The minute details of that image were not yet clear, or important. Appreciating that as part of the process is another new trick. Mustering the determination to recognize and work past the how holes was probably the most valuable new trick of all. Trust me, the path of my career is littered with the roadkill of analysis paralysis.

I come away with both the feeling of accomplishment but also a new and very powerful box of tools. Now my confidence is based on the scars and bruises of me fighting with myself, and winning. This brings to mind not another adage but a most fitting quote about choosing directions, ”... I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.”

A big shout out to Marisa, Coach Paul, all my podmates, Matt and Emily, Murray and everyone who drives this awesome machine. It was, and will continue to be, a helluva ride.

Timothy McCurry (class of 2022)

I started EPM with a completely different idea for my program. EPM allowed me to focus and redirect my energies to a reasonable MVP. An amazing journey, but a little overwhelming in 60 days (to graduation). A lot of chatter boxing to do. I scheduled my course, but had no sales. I will keep trying looking for other groups to present to. A list is clearly something that is a missing piece for me. I think this is where a lot of time passes to get a big list to get the numbers to get sales.

I was having a big challenge of actually design and be able to get a clear idea of the kind of product I really wanted to put out into the world in order to sell and get an income from it. I had tried to establish a Glamping site and had invested in infrastructure, cotton tents and so on, but realised that my thing is´nt to just rent accomodation for random tourists, And that I suck at online or digital marketing. I joined Experience Product Masterclass!, which was amazing and challenging ,but I decided to keep up with every Milestone and put a lot of work into learning all the content. I discovered that by trusting the process despite doubt and sometimes frustration when not getting a thumbs up on the first try, I now have a clear concept of the product I would love to launch, and develop further. My specific result is that I have been able to make a survey which has given me insight into the challenges my target audience is confronting in terms of fulfilling their desire to get out and walk in nature. "I had taken so many courses which dealt with bits of the puzzle. I had a website, course outline, sales page, but it was starting to look like a broken bike - all the pieces but I didn't know how to put them together.
EPM takes you step by step. You don't need to bother about things you were led to believe were important like funnels etc. Marisa helps you to take what you know and create the easiest way possible to deliver it to your customers."

It was difficult because even if I had a clear concept of my product, I still felt unsure of the way to present it face to face and keep going until that person would say yes. And to my own surprise, at the end of the trial my test person said: ""Why don´t you sell a spot on your program to me?""
Thet was when I discovered that ny passion for my product really helped getting the message through and the next day I offered a Meta test Version to four local female entreprenears who at the same timne fit my target audience.
This has led to the preparation for a shoreter version starting the first week of January 2023.

Gilberto Moreno (class of 2022)

Your GRADUATION Story
COVID severely impacted our consulting practice virtually drying up or mostly F2F consulting practice. We knew we needed an new approach to delivering our proven consulting experience and knowledge of 25+ years. We joined EPM with the hope of leveraging our 1 x 4 business acumen approach to reigniting small business owner's mindset in growing their business.

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
With COVID turning our collective primarily F2F consulting practices on their heads with virtually no projects in the pipeline, we realized that taking each of our 25+years collective expertise and knowledge to share with future clients necessitated a whole new approach and way of thinking. Rebuilding our joint consulting practice with its value proposition for the virtual reality was a whole new challenge with no apparent formula. Our current client base either canceled or postponed every project on our books primarily due to the uncertainty of COVID. Just when we thought we were not ready for the new virtual consulting reality, we nonetheless used our past experience in working with businesses of all sizes and soon discovered a potential new approach to engaging with small businesses. Taking advantage of an invitation to participate in the Stanford University Rebuild Program, we analyzed over 42 areas of prior consulting expertise and experiences distilling these into 4 key areas of consultative focus. We created a 1 x 4 business acumen framework based on our collective consulting experience of 25+ years. We also realized that our consulting practice itself was in need of applying our new entrepreneurship framework model. The EPM program, tools, and ""secret sauce"" has helped us immensely to bring value to our story, our deliverables, and our consulting approach.

Your FIRST SALE Story
Building on a previous relationship with the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, we decided to pitch and share this innovative work designing and building a curriculum using the new framework over the Christmas holidays that led to testing our model with 3 cohorts of 15 emerging Latino small business entrepreneurs in the Atlanta area. What we discovered is that our overarching focus on the IQ of running a business needed an EQ component equally as important to balance, enrich, and empower the often struggling small business entrepreneur’s mindset. The feedback from the cohorts proved our approach does reignite a small business owner’s excitement and direction in helping them pivot forward towards a tangible strategic direction with new insights, business acumen, and the right balanced mindset. We subsequently pitched our new EPM-impacted approach to the GHCC with a proposal to refine our course and expand the EQ portion of the program. We awarded a contract in November of 2022 to deliver the upgraded program to now the 5th cohort of 15 entrepreneurs that will reap the benefit of your innovative approach.

Your PROVED MY IDEA Story
What we have since discovered in testing the framework with other small business entrepreneurs, as well as, non-profits is an overwhelming need and endorsement of the 1 x 4 framework approach. 98% of the GHCC cohort approved of the substantive, quality consulting provided with 100% agreeing to recommend the program to other entrepreneurs! Not unlike our efforts to rethink our consulting practice, small business entrepreneurs too can use this framework to redirect their investments and pivot their business towards tangible growth, profitability, and prosperity.

Your MADE A WHOLE LOT MORE Story
As outlined above, we closed a contract to support the next set of 15 Latino entrepreneurs with the course starting February 8. Our team is in the process of executing an implementation project plan developed using EPM resources.

What's been the biggest change in your business?
Understanding the nature of introducing an online course that is clear and concise about its purpose, value, its support, and its deliverables. We have the content but the renewed focus on bringing more of an EQ balance to the course has been significant.

How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
EPM has modeled for us the scope and nature of delivering the highest quality content, context, and support to ensure follow-on return business.

What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Progress over Perfection. We were guilty of trying to deliver the encyclopedia of our knowledge and expertise in our program. It is all about VALUE.

What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
The ability to translate all of our 25+ years of intellectual property to online courses is viable and realistic! This first offering is but one of 4 we want to deliver to the marketplace.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
The depth, breadth, and options of EPM support is easily worth the price of admission. We take pride in being client centric whereby 86% of our clients have asked us to come back and engage in a 3rd project. We see how EPM is also so focused on the client. We are anxious to leverage this new relationship.

I was having trouble finding a platform that I liked. I was frustrated with the DIY version most platforms offered. I joined EPM because it offered a one for you set up as well as coaching. I was able to get through the program with the help of coaching and templates.
