Your FIRST SALE Story
I chatterboxed 5 different people about my product and got two sales. The first 3 people were very interested, but balked at the price. So I decided to offer special pricing for my launch and I signed up two people. A few things come to mind now: I could offer a payment plan, take a good look at my chatterboxing strategy and see where I can improve to secure more sales, and another suggestion from my coach is to revisit my deliverables and special deliverables to see if I can make the program more irresistible and convey this when I talk to people. :) I also realize that my prices are extremely low for what I intend to deliver and everything involved. I did more research on what very similar businesses are charging and it is several times more than my initial price points. After my MVP launch, I will reevaluate, see what I may need to restructure, and charge accordingly.

What's been the biggest change in your business?
I actually have a workshop starting next week!! I need to work on my materials for the class.

How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
At this stage, EPM had drastically cut the time and resources I would have spent figuring this out on my own. I wake up every morning so eager to start the day to create how I envision my life in a few months from now - a thriving business with regularly scheduled and full workshops or 1:1 coaching, doing something meaningful and beautiful, doing something that really matters to me. I'm also getting better at conquering my hesitations regarding sales and asking for money.

What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Sooooo many takeaways....At this stage, to keep your eye on your goal (to launch my MVP). Keep moving towards it despite the challenges (internal or external) that you may encounter. Be flexible, particularly if you've never done this before, and allow yourself to modify or pivot, but just keep moving toward that goal.

What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I will conduct my first workshop on a subject that is dear to me. I'm looking forward to seeing how I and my business will evolve.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Thank you to my coach, Kanu. (heart emoji)

I was challenged by choosing a niche market. It always seemed too broad. I joined EPM and chose to focus on daughters who were suddenly in the middle of caring for their elderly mom. I clearly defined my niche market and what to say and how I can help people. It feels good to have succinct description that my ideal market totally resonates with!!

Your GRADUATION Story
As career consultants with a combined experience of over 60+ years, we wanted to take our content and create an online, do-it-yourself course by recycling it to a niche audience, thereby creating a residual retirement income with < 15 hrs/week work. I joined EPM and have worked full-time to follow the course milestones to achieve this goal and overcome our obstacles. As I complete Module 3 I recognize what a great contribution this course has made to our consulting methodologies, and we look forward to testing it in the first quarter of 2023. I have sold the course to 1 person that I have worked with 20 years ago: he needs this beta course now and not in 6 weeks so we are reordering our modules to meet his needs and testing our materials with him on a personal coaching call each week which we will charge the same price for ($5k) and in turn he will give us feedback on our materials. On our kickoff call we tested our most complicated business systems model with him and he understood it and liked it. Gave us the thumbs up! And so the beta begins!

Your PROVED MY IDEA Story
Our first sale is an unexpected pivot from our product. We are tailoring this to his immediate needs and it will either help us adapt our product course, OR it will help us create a 2nd course for a 1 off audience by swishing around our deliverables and adding more material as needed. Our 1 sale was more than $2500, per our original goal! We were having a problem figuring out how to chatterbox. I wasn't sure what to do but I told one of my former business partners what we were doing on EPM and as the CEO of a Family Business he asked us if we could start now. Of course, we said YES! So we flexed and are doing a 1:1 custom tailored beta version through weekly coaching calls. First call went great! He understood the complex model we tested on him and he loved it. That is when he asked us can we go ahead and start NOW.

Your MADE A WHOLE LOT MORE Story
Coach Melanie pushed back on us for the price we were initially going to charge (much less) and we raised the end product course to $10k, which means we can do the beta course at a 50% discount at $5k for the 12-week program... as a result, we didn't realize it at the time but we realized our goal of making back our investment with the first client. Looking forward to checking this off before Jan 30, 2023

What's been the biggest change in your business?
Having to use Social Media to chatter. finding cold clients on social media to chatter with. I'd really like to avoid SM if we can figure out how to sell it through another channel. For now, we'll try Linked In.

How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
It's been a great investment and value so far. Once we get through the beta and can launch this to achieve our objectives of a totally online course with residual income then we will call it a success. got us working together again

What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
The power of coaching. As career executive business consultants and coaches ourselves for many years inside corporations, we never actually received or benefitted from coaching ourselves. The coaching support that Marisa has built into this course is a critical success factor and the most valuable part of EPM to us.

What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
We hope a residual income we can retire on. In addition, I plan to build another course in 2023, as well as add on a SELECTIVE business coaching offer somewhere in the $10k range where we limit the # of clients we'll deal with monthly to 3. We want to create a waiting list for coaching clients ultimately.
In 2023 I'm going to create a 2nd product. And I'd like to earn $14k by March in order to sign up for Momentum

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Coach Melanie made a big contribution and difference to us as a filter. Love her!

Constance Okeke (class of 2022)

I was having a problem being able to figure out how I wanted to create a course on teaching surgeons in clinicians how to excel in the area of micro invasive glaucoma surgery or MIGS. I wasn’t sure what to do because I was having trouble trying to figure out what to present on. I didn’t want to present too much to overwhelm people, but I want didn’t want to present to little. I joined Experience project Masterclass because it made me feel confident they could walk me through my confusion and help me get to a finished course. I learned how to generate surveys that really lead the responders right into your hands for next steps which is what your course provides. I learned how to come up with a great marketing strategy and really simple ways to get your course out there without having to have it perfect before you start. Despite being a wife, mother of 3, a full time surgeon, researcher, consultant, speaker, mentor, and being in the midst of a book launch, I was able to create a marketing strategy, get 100 potential clients through my survey, complete my course creation and launch my MVP product. I’m excited for my chatterbox efforts to be successful so that I can make my first sale!

Your GRADUATION Story
I was at the end of my rope and ready to take charge on making my business profitable. I’ve been in business 5 years and was netting so low I can’t even bear to write about it here. I kept asking myself why other people could make this type of business work for them but I couldn’t…it just didn’t make sense. I’d also done coaching before and had felt pretty let down and led astray. But I joined EPM, I’ve now graduated, and while I’m not sure what will happen, I am ready to give it my all. I’ve learned a lot and at the very least, regained my trust in business coaching. Here’s hoping I earn my investment back and then some. I am open to following the advice given to me and I am also open to feeling what it might be like to earn back my investment with ease. Thanks LYM team.

What's been the biggest change in your business?
Confidence and hope.

How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
I feel more energized, like I can do this if I work at it.

Confidence to build a product.
I saw great examples of leaders who have integrity!

Barbara Andre (class of 2022)

"Since two to three years I was playing with the thought to either write an E book or become a coach, simply to have more financial wiggle room The E book was more appealing as I wouldn’t need to get involved with anyone and I wasn’t really sure what coaching was as opposed to being a psychotherapist (my profession). I was swaying back and forth, especially when I learnt that writing an E book wouldn’t earn me much at all. On the other hand, I didn’t know if I wanted to become a coach, having to promote myself and not only doing the coaching. The third issue which held me back in going forward was, that I couldn’t make up my mind, what exactly to offer as I had several subjects which really interested me personally (in the field of health and wellness).
Whilst playing with those thoughts I came across Dean Graziosi and Tony Robbins. I finally wanted to get real and decided to enrol in their course and learn how to create an E book or course. I was all pumped up after the course but there was so much to take in, to learn and put in practice that I felt completely overwhelmed and soon started to procrastinate by switching niches again and again and finding all kinds of excuses why it was impossible to actually start creating something.
Then I heard of Christian Mickelsen, He seemed to be someone who could teach me how to be a good coach. I enjoyed his teachings and techniques a lot but again I didn’t follow through as I was afraid to put myself out there.
Finally in October 2022 I heard of Marisa and her EMP course. Haphazardly I decided to listen into her intro webinar as I was getting tired to listen to yet another promotion of a course promising that it would be THE solution for me. But very soon I picked up on the distinct feeling that Marisa’s course could be indeed the solution I was waiting for. I grasped rather quickly that this is a course which is so well structured that it could ‘squeeze’ me through the funnel and create enough momentum for me to finally reach my goal to create a course.
I bought Marisa’s course despite of the big lump sum of money I had to spend (the biggest I ever spent on myself) and despite the fact that I didn’t quite knew how to find the time to do the course. To be sure to make the right decision, I took Marisa on her offer to call one of her coaches whom I also asked how much time I had to give per day. Later on, I found out that the estimate given to me was way below the hours I actually had to invest in order to fulfil all the homework, take part in the coaching calls etc. I will come back to this part later in my story.
I started a week too late with the course as I was still busy with another course I had enrolled in previously. This was unfortunate as it set me off to lag behind from the word go and did put me under quite some pressure as I was adamant to not let this opportunity slip but follow through with all the coaching calls, the modules and tasks we were asked to do.
After listening to the first sessions, it was clear: I had made the right decision. This was an excellent course, Marisa was an extraordinary coach and it was the perfect coarse for me as it was so well structured, leading me from one step to the next. This was what I needed!
As the intensity of the course increased over the weeks and more and more had to be done and learned in less time, I started to get cold feet. Would I ever be able to understand all this technical stuff, do all these many things which were required to not only create the course but also promote it, especially as I was not connected with any of the social medias and had absolutely no interest in them? Would I have the perseverance, time, creativity and above all acquire all those different skills to create my course, not even knowing if my course would be successful, accepted and bought by people? During December deep doubts were cropping up and I had thoughts of giving up. What kept me going was Marisa’s encouragement, her repeated slogans like ‘start small’, ‘keep it simple’, ‘go step by step without thinking of the next step ahead’, ‘trust the process’ but also her incredible enthusiasm, her engagement, her never ending giving and overdelivering and keeping her promises and being there for each and every single one of her students. Impressive! I also felt that I owed it to myself to pull this through and I sensed that this could be such a big learning and growing opportunity for me.
What was so helpful for me was the breaking down of the whole process of creating a course in many small steps. I learned to get really specific, concrete in describing what I want to deliver, to scale it down to a minimum to not get overwhelmed but most importantly to look through the lens of my ideal client what they are looking for, what I can offer them to help them in their plight. I learned that the right approach to any clients is to be generous, to overdeliver. The process of chatter boxing made it clear to me that it is important to make sure to sell my product only to people who will definitely gain from it.
I am proud that I finished all the Milestones in good time (which sometimes meant that I had to stay up until late at night) and that I attended almost all of the coaching calls (I just didn’t wanted to miss anything) and that I took part in almost all of the Bonus sessions. My life was definitely taken over by the EPM course! I have to admit that I sometimes felt a bit overwhelmed with all the offerings in such short succession and would have liked to have one week off over Christmas, but at the same time I could see that all the extra things we were given were so very valuable.
What I was mainly scared was promoting my course. When I heard the word ‘Chatter Boxing’ I thought it would be something one could use like a magic wand, bringing clients out of now where, but soon I realized that I would have to put the work in myself and that there is not such thing as a magic solution. But I have started for the first time in my life to talk about my project and plans to friends and family and I got some positive responses (they want to be kept informed about my course).
I know – even if I have made great strides - I am still at the beginning of a long process but this process has a concrete shape now, I know the direction of the road ahead. I am grateful that I have been put on some solid tracks which will bring me to my goal.
Thank you, Marisa (you are outstanding and a shining example of what you teach, you definitely overdeliver!), thank you Sharell (you have been absolutely fabulous! I will miss you), thank you Mathew and Emily for all your help (I will have to study your brilliant sessions again and again to grasp all the many things you taught us), thank you all the other coaches which shared their wisdom and thank you all my POD pals and course pals who have given me input and gave me the chance of side door learning!

Your GRADUATION Story
We did it! We were enrolled in another course development program, not sure what my course topic should be, when I found Marisa who offered the 5 day Challenge to find the course topic and niche that is right for me. I left my other course and joined EPM because of the coaching, the make it back guarantee and Xperiencify (which is a fit with our Experiential Learning expertise),and jumped in putting in 200% of everything we have to find the right niche and create a rapid development course that achieves our goal: which is creating a product we can earn residual income with as we retire and work no more than 10-15 hours a week. We obviously haven't achieved the 10-15 hours a week yet! But we expect to get there someday, if not with this course, with the other 2 course ideas we have!

"For more than a decade, I helped numerous adult professionals develop their ability to feel comfortable and confident in personal and professional situations through Toastmasters International, a non-profit organization which helps people age 18 and up develop public speaking and leadership skills. I wanted to create an online course to help high school teens, age 15 - 17, struggling with low self-esteem, gain confidence by developing competent speaking skills and techniques. Minor detail, I wasn't sure how to proceed. Then, I joined the Experience Product Masterclass and learned that I could create the skeleton for a paper plane version of my online course and ""iterate my way to awesome""! Step by step I completed Module 1, on time, and received the requisite thumbs ups from my coach. Then, as the Module 2 sessions kept dropping, I got stuck formulating my credibility boosters and ultimately fell further and further behind. I planned to catch up over the holiday breaks but family and health issues intervened. Module 3 dropped and I was still stuck in Module 2. Finally, on January 15, with just over two weeks left to graduation, I became laser focused. From January 16 - 26, I submitted Milestones 5 - 16 to my coach and received a thumbs up for Milestone 5-15. On January 27th, I received the final thumbs up for Milestone 16 and completed my MVP track. Woo Hoo!

Your GRADUATION Story
I have been creating and marketing so many courses. Spent all my time and energy in it... To find no traction, although I have a large distribution list. I know that I have a lot to give, and kept doing the same and the same. And felt exhausted at times. And very disappointed. I was at the point of giving up this summer, and by coincidence (or not...), I received an invitation for the EPM Masterclass. I committed to forget everything I did before and trust the process. The professionalism of Marisa helped me to surrender. Now I know the process to create an appealing offer for my audience, I finished my first product, and this is just the start of a new adventure.

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
Having a great offer is one thing. Selling it is another. I had the strategy to hide myself behind my large distribution list and not to contact my audience directly. Because I felt that I should not sell myself. Joining EMP gave me a new perspective. One that I knew intellectually, but did not feel like that. I (re)discovered the chatterbox method and was challenged by the competition in the program and supported by the templates and the energy of the community. I learned how this method boosts energy, fun and engagement in my conversations with my audience and that people are genuinely open and interested in how I can support them in their self-mastery. I am now committed to keep using this strategy for all my offers, because it gives me so much feedback and results. I should have learned this years ago!

How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
More confidence, more exposure, more energy

What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
MVP is good enough to start. Don't complicate things

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Thank you Maryssa! You rock! So do your coaches.

"My GRADUATION STORY:
After PLF, ClickFunnels, Ryan Leveque's quiz funnels and year long course, and even Christian Mickelson's coaching program..., I was still having a real challenge finding a system that could work for ME to market my award winning kids book so I could finally actually get it to market and start helping kids avoid bullying and becoming another teen suicide statistic.

I finally realized my techy former girlfriend wasn't as dedicated to helping me as she had been saying she was for 7 years when she left after getting a job offer in Utah. I wasn't sure how I was ever going to get past my ""non-techy"" history and be able to actually pull off creating the kind of course my Best Indie Book Award winning kids book deserved!

I joined EPM after being fascinated by Marisa's explanation of harnessing the dopamine production with the structure of the learning process and I knew I was where I needed to be. Since even now I still don't even know how to send a friend request on FB (just had to ask someone this morning) when I say I'm a non-techy I mean... this is not my gig. Give me a guitar and a mic and I'm fine, put me at the top of a 40' ladder cleaning the gutters or hanging off the edge of a 3rd story roof, piece of cake... but navigating all this google doc, fb, milestone mania... That's been bigtime challengeville for my 60 year old brain... But today's kids need the resilience and confidence and parents need the support, so failure on this has never been an option for me.

I have so appreciated the presentation style, examples, astounding intelligence APPLIED to something so important, the dedication of Coach Mike who has repeatedly taken his own private personal time to schedule extra sessions with our pod, be it Christmas eve, (almost 40 minutes with me alone around 6;30 his time...A.Maz.Ing!) Such a wonderful man, coach, representative you have in him. Please don't judge him based on my lack of fb posts! I've done well to have any!
So now with Mike's and my efforts, I am graduating! And I'm liking the experience of this dopamine thing in addition to appreciating the theory of it all. I can FEEL the boost of my understanding and confidence and I'm looking forward to the modules still yet to come (I haven't even LOOKED at 4 yet)

I feel like I have found my educational ""home""... much like I felt when I first found Mary Morrissey's ""Living Enrichment Center"" and knew it was my spiritual home, back in the 80's.
Once this course of mine is on autopilot, more or less, and I've got my illustrator working full time for me on the next books, and a few other goals behind me, I would love to be a bigger part in what I KNOW is next for you Marisa and Murray and LYM... But I don't want you to wait for me... So:

What you've created here is ground breaking evolutionary code cracking paradigm shifting systemology that needs to be taken to the next level, of course, right?
The missing component to me anyway, is gonna seem obvious when you hear it maybe given the song you ended your EPM course with, but I'm crystal clear that when you add music into the course content and structure, specifically written music, lyrics, instrumentation and rhythms that emotionally connect and relate to the content, and invite the optional use of the support songs that some focused talented songwriters have created (and maybe even recorded in different musical genres and styles to relate with different age clients...)... THAT to me will be the ultimate learning environment and structure, supporting and supported by everything you've already created. I can only imagine what it might do for the completion numbers and engagement, sharing songs that then would become the study material that could be taken and used everywhere...
This is something I will be incorporating to a limited degree with what I can figure out how to manage in Raising Resilient Kiddos but I know you could do more with the idea than I will most likely be able to any time soon, so take it. Use it. Do it. Please. We have so much to learn that we need ALL the tools available to help us receive and for me that conversation will never be complete without a powerfully intentional, physiologically integrated (432hz based) music component. Call me if you wanna talk about it. (503) 381-1138. I'd love to help if I can. Thanks again for everything! We've only just begun... Stay Tuned!! Mark"
