As a marketing professional with many years experience, what a ‘Marketing Mind@#$!’ I endured. Reiterate my way to awesome? Progress over perfection? Anti-perfectionist path to rapid product creation? Having worked in the corporate world all those years… PERFECTION – that was the expectation that was deeply ingrained in me.
EPM challenged me to adopt new ways of thinking and pushed me outside of my comfort zone to let go of my perfectionist mindset and surrender to the process. It wasn’t easy, but I’m so glad I did.
I thought I knew A LOT about marketing but whoa… one can never stop learning, especially in EPM. "I joined EPM because I wanted to learn the steps on how to create an information and experience product that would genuinely help people to improve their lives and to do this in a way that was encouraging, authentic, and helped people to achieve tangible results.
While I wrestled with gaining clarity on the exact material and target audience, I found that the process can be applied to almost any topic once you understand the steps and process of creating the course. This is actually more important to me than the specific course I worked on during EPM. At this point in my development, learning the process is just as important, and maybe even more so, than the actual product created during the EPM experience."

I was able to complete all of the milestones in the EPM course. While I am still in the process of finalizing some of the materials, I am excited about what I have achieved and am even more grateful for the things I have learned along the way. I have shared my product idea (helping introverts to communicate more effectively and to embrace their superpower as an introvert.) I have found that this can be a challenging topic for many introverts to embrace but I know that the skills they gain will enhance their lives and empower them to achieve whatever they want to have in their lives.
Your MADE A WHOLE LOT MORE Story
I have gained more from learning the steps and the process of creating an experience product than from any initial financial reward. I'm just getting started and now feel excited and empowered to build a successful online business. As mentioned previously, the knowledge, processes, and skills I have learned throughout EPM have given me the tools and inspiration to move forward in creating multiple products that will provide genuine help to others to improve the quality of their lives and to help them achieve their personal and professional goals. The knowledge and process steps of how to create a successful online product. EPM overdelivered in every area. My biggest challenge was just keeping up. But I am overjoyed with my experience and excited to put everything into action. I now have the knowledge of what is needed to create a successful online business creating experience products that will help people in a way that is fun, engaging, and effective to guide them toward achieving their personal and professional goals.

"Breaking the chains of perfectionism, and opting for progress. I can move forward with my business. EPM provides the structure, top notch coaching and roadmap. From there I can begin where I am, move forward one step and a time, choose progress over perfection and iterate my way to a successful program. Coach Debra says something about having a hobby or a business. Until now, my business has been an expensive hobby. Now I can allow myself to be visible and move forward with my business.
EPM is expertly crafted - each module, each session, each coach and component. I give a ringing endorsement to all elements. My one suggestion would be to change the timing. Each year EPM is offered over Christmas, a time of year that is very difficult for me to dedicate time to an extra project. My work and family commitments make this the absolute worst time of the year. I would like to appeal for a date change to earlier in the year or mid-year...please!
I was exhausted giving 1 to 1 therapy in the traditional model as a couple and trauma therapist. I was repeating myself so often, and many of my clients had suggested that I write a book. I did write a book, and found the idea of publishing traditionally overwhelming. As I explored the possibility of teaching this material on-line instead, I did join one on-line teaching community but I felt so frustrated and stuck by the need to have so many skills required for online education that I was never going to get. I put out a huge SOS to the universe and prayed for a team/partnership situation that would help me with the platform I needed. I had a dream that night where I saw a bee-hive. It was yellow and green and had a giant X on it. Later, it hit me this was Xperiencify. At some point, I also got an email inviting me to Marisa's webinar. I was attending all webinars I could find on the topic of on-line teaching, so hers wasn't standing out to me yet. I took some notes, and tried to wrap my brain around her concepts of mission. Time passed. And I saw something else by Marisa that grabbed me. It was the 10 core experiences model. I was totally enthralled. I have a background in education - and psychology. Everything Marisa was saying was resonating. Lots of pings were sounding in my brain as my learning began to escalate through experiencing the teaching model she was sharing. I joined EPM during the webinar - it was like approaching a cliff tied to a bungy chord. I took the plunge and I have never looked back. The quality of what Marisa taught convinced me to follow her program as closely as I could. When I was a teacher, I told my students - If you want to succeed in this course, just write down everything I say and follow it. It's really that simple. When the teaching isn't "b-s'ing" - and it's all truth - just do it. That's what I did. I implemented what I could, and attended when I could and created as I went. The hardest part for me was marketing. I was terrified. I was totally convinced I would do NO Chatter-boxing. Coach Tim convinced me otherwise. And I ended up loving it. 15 of my 20 students came from chatter-boxing. What is so great, is that I actually feel as though I've made 20 friends! This is a different relationship than the professional therapist-client relationship. It's much more relaxed and enjoyable. I never felt like I was selling. I was befriending, listening and it all came naturally as pie. I am so surprised. My original stretch goal was $6 K, and I will be making almost 10K. And, if I had realized how unblocked I would become from chatter boxing, I would have set much higher goals.

How did EPM help you become successful?
"The discipline and deadline was helpful. I love having a checklist of things so the 10 core experiences check list was awesome.
Also, having the guarantee is what kept me in the game and kept me from dropping out half way. I was determined to get my money back if I didn't make my $$
I didn't stick to the schedule toward the end, but I had made it far enough that I was ok with that. I had also gained enough value from the course that I felt good with not getting a refund. "

I wanted to start a business around coaching software engineers. But I did not know what I would coach on as you get free training for everything. I joined EPM and discovered a niche that not many people focus on. I trusted the process and did all the assignments as well as attended all coaching calls possible. At the end of the course, I was able to create a structure for my course as well as templates to close a sale. It broadened my mind and helped me develop an MVP mindset.
I was having a challenge with actually bringing one of my entrepreneurial ideas to life, I wasn't sure what to do to stop the endless started but not completed projects, courses and business ideas. I joined EPM and I finally found the community and the steps that I needed to actually complete my business idea and make a little money. I followed the steps, created my course and was able to put all the piece together to launch and start enrolling students. I was struggling with overwhelm related feeling like I had to have all of the things to launch a business. I wasn’t sure what to do so I continually froze, did nothing, and gave up. I joined EPM and I learned and realized a couple of things. First and foremost, I did not have to have it all done to launch a product. I just needed to have an MVP. I didn't even need to have all of the content created. I could create as I go and drip content out week by week. The other thing I learned is progress is better than perfection. Rather than getting bogged down trying to perfect everything, I focused on making progress and I got to the point where I had an MVP to start to try to sell. It has gone from a vague notion to a structured reality, complete with a viable product and the skills to implement that delivery. EMP has given me a structure to reach financial independence over time, one of my core goals. Amplification of personal abilities by helping others and working with skilled mentors facilitates exponential acceleration and is definitely worth the time and investment! I'll soon be able to live almost anywhere and have an ongoing increasing income through this Experience Product development and delivery system.
