As a marketing professional with many years experience, what a ‘Marketing Mind@#$!’ I endured. Reiterate my way to awesome? Progress over perfection? Anti-perfectionist path to rapid product creation? Having worked in the corporate world all those years… PERFECTION – that was the expectation that was deeply ingrained in me.
EPM challenged me to adopt new ways of thinking and pushed me outside of my comfort zone to let go of my perfectionist mindset and surrender to the process. It wasn’t easy, but I’m so glad I did.
I thought I knew A LOT about marketing but whoa… one can never stop learning, especially in EPM. Since the start of our program, I learned so many new skills, and was astounded by the tremendous level of knowledge and valuable information shared by Marisa, our coaches and mentors. I was equally amazed by fellow EPMers who supported one another in our Facebook Group and Pod Calls throughout the entire program… and long live #GIDF. This was the icing on the cake which helped me build more confidence in myself and motivated me to make even greater progress. I always felt supported and had so much fun – even while working on EPM at 3 am or 5 am because I lost track of time!
I’m still reiterating my way to awesome, but I’m exactly where I need to be. I'm still making progress over perfection!
Am I sad that our EPM journey is coming to an end? Hell, yes! But somehow, I believe that my journey has really only just begun."
