When I signed up for EPM, I was unclear about my product, I just knew I wanted to create something. So I started with the idea of using photography as a way to help people who felt "stuck" in life unleash and/or boost their creative side. Partway through the training, as I met coaches from a variety of niches, I realized coaching was really a thing, ie, it was actually a viable profession ~ and I had my AHA! moment. I could combine what I've done professionally for over 30 years (patient education as a nurse & nurse practitioner) with a lifestyle I've followed since I was a teen (plant-based eating) and help others transition to WFPB diet to improve their health. I found something I'm REALLY passionate about and completely changed course. I immediately found Marisa's emails introducing me to Eben Pagan's 12-week Virtual Coaching program and joined. Between the coaching program and EPM, I've gained focus and clarity about my path and my life mission. AND I love talking about it.
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
You CAN find your passion and build a business that excites you. And marketing is just a conversation, offering something of value to another person. If they say no, it's not a rejection of YOU.
How did EPM help you become successful?
I'm usually an observer; I don't like being in the spotlight. But after doing the 21 Day FB Live Challenge (posted only to an accountability friend), I posted a FB Live message to a large community and I'm starting a 30-day content-posting challenge (which will be FB Live videos for me) with a wellness Mastermind group I'm now a member of. The wonderful support, feedback, tips and tricks of the EPM crew encouraged me to keep going, "show myself" and be present.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
After feeling lost for several years, struggling to find my purpose and passion, taking one course after another (skill-building, I guess), EPM has given me laser focus on a viable business idea that I love. The support and generosity of Marisa, Murray, and all the coaches and staff, as well as the 2020 EPM community, has helped me punch fear in the face, step out of my comfort zone, and move forward.
What has been the biggest change in your business?
A new direction with a real life mission that aligns with my values.
What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I now know how to build a course and market it.
It feels great to get this far. The biggest win for me is that I got in ACTION AND reconnected with the creativity required to wear multiple hats. Instead of going into overload and overwhelm, I have been able to face the demons/procrastination with a little more kindness rather than beating it into submission and still put one foot in front of the other.

Here's my story:
I was feeling so lost trying to find my voice in that crowd virtual world. I was always doubting my capacities and myself, I wasn't even sure what to do to move forward. I took a leap of faith by joining EPM because it was such an investment and I was not sure how much I could invest in myself. But this time, I decided to go all the way and especially not to let life interfere at my expense! The authenticity of Marisa and the encouragement of my coach Jordan allowed me to go all the way and on that way, I finally found myself: a creative WAHM who wants to bind families together through her fun printable activities.

I was having trouble jumpstarting my coaching business, I knew I had an idea but never knew how to articulate it or bring it to life with the same vivid vision I had. I thankfully and luckily joined EPM and began taking the steps with every milestone and somehow answers would appear with every milestone. More surprisingly those steps were taken effortlessly because of how clear and concise this EPM program is where the hard work of preparing the soil was already done for us I just had to choose which seed I wanted to plant. Coach Mark was amazing in giving constructive feedback and inspired me to keep moving forward. As a result I came out with my OWN PROGRAM "Your Future on Demand" I had no idea I was capable of such a thing. Not only that, but I have a clear mission on whom I'm serving and why and all the creative ways and possibilities to reach my target audience. What I appreciate most is this program that I'll be launching is so unique to me and not just a typical create a watered down course and sell. With such fire and inspirtation in me I have no doubt that I will succeed in getting sales in soon. I've begun chatter boxing campaign but still I haven't steered anyone into pivot conversation yet. Perhaps I need to change how I'm chatter boxing. For now I am being easy on myself as I grow into chatter boxing and getting clients. I started a meetup group and I'm hopeful that a new possibility will show up on how to speak to my audience. For now I am being easy on myself as I celebrate all the BIG WINS THAT I GOT ALONG IN THIS EPM JOURNEY!!
An unexpected wake up call... On the morning of boxing day 2011 my 53 year old husband woke me up , with severe pain in his left arm. We rushed to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with a 90% blockage in an artery called the "widowmaker'. He was one of the lucky ones - he survived! As a team member in our business this scary experience started me thinking- especially in the middle of the night. I wondered what would happen if I was left alone? Would I be able to earn a living on my own? You see, I'd been a stay home mum soon after we married so I wondered did I have any workplace skills? I tried a few things, but we had enough money so I'd carry on until one day I realized with clarity that we were asset rich and cash poor and I really needed to find a way to put these fears to rest. I joined EPM2021 , it has been a fantatic ride. I have learn't so much about online business and myself. The biggest learning has been to keep progressing rather than trying hard to 'get it right'. I have now graduated from EPM but am determined to continue on. My first goal is to get back my course investment as I promised to my husband(not that he's asking)The thing that excites me the most is that I can now help others (retirees) achieve freedom and peace of mind with weekly actions to create extra income
Your GRADUATION Story
I have a proprietary product, consisting of stories in verse with accompanying questions, which I designed and used to help adults reminisce and also write their own stories based on the questions. I have shared this product for 20 years in a volunteer capacity and wanted to increase the scope of people I could reach as well as monetize it. I joined LYM in order to learn how to put a program together and sell it. I listened and watched the lessons and coaching sessions and worked through the MVP milestones. What I am challenged with now is the actual process of getting it in a form to sell. I haven't actually used the Canva templates yet. The biggest challenge I feel I face is the lack of practical tech skills that I have never utilized before and feel paralyzed. However, I am determined to succeed and will press on. I was encouraged to hear Coach Emily say we could bring our program from Canva to Google Docs and share from there since I am more familiar with Google Docs.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I do feel that you have presented more than enough knowledge so that I can be successful if I just continue to work the process and review the tech skills until I can conquor them.

"I have been having trouble attracting 1:1 clients in my coaching practice because I relied on irregular social media postings, inconsistent blogging, and my new podcast to create leads. Joining EPM has made me realize that I have been negating my own value by passively prospecting. Marisa also sold me on the concept that ""specificity sells""! This is such a counterintuitive strategy when you look at it on the surface but it is so obvious when you recognize that you can't REACH - or MOVE - your audience by shooting from the hip.
For the past month, I have been chatterboxing like a mad woman! It feels so comfortable - even energizing!!! - now that I'm focusing on SERVING my client rather than pushing a sale. The interesting thing is that I've known this for years but, clearly, my lack loop was running the show. My financial insecurity made me come across as a hungry wolf!
At the moment, I have a very warm lead who will apparently circle back this evening.
I also wrote 3 proposals in the past 3 weeks for work totalling $13 050 CDN. I had not written a proposal since Nov. 2022! For the record, I would qualify 1 lead as warm and the other 2 as lukewarm.
I've also decided to include episodes in ENG in my FR podcast so as to reach my ideal client in both communities. Thanks to AI, translating is no longer a chronophagous affair!
All of this has been possible because of the inner shift - from reluctant prospector to committed customer-centred coach - that happened as I consistently completed the practical and engaging EPM modules, participated in the calls and FB community, and took advantage of Coach Carolyn's wise guidance."

"I found a lot of challenges in aspiring copywriters and marketers WANT to make a career change and start a freelance business but we having trouble with confidence in their experience and ability to get started ... they didn't know how to position themselves and speak to prospects with authority ... in over 1,000 hours of coaching and mentoring since the pandemic, that became the most common pain point.
I joined EPM to find a way to create a small group coaching program where they had a place to learn and a safe space that offered support to realize they have what they need ... they just need help seeing it and explaining it to others
I targeted the wrong audience to start with ... while chatterboxing proved there was value, I was trying to get people to pay for access when they already had access to me for free.
Because I also had a lot of health issues that also had me hospitalized, and had a coach that didn't want me to pivot, I ran out of time to do what I really wanted to do with this ... so I was honest with the people that joined my list to get the survey and offered the beta at no charge with certain time and feedback commitments in exchange ... so I got 3 to say yes
I'm hoping to get 5 before the official start of the beta launch but since that email went out this morning that I got 3 is great ... and even if I don't get the 5, I have enough to start the paper plane and use the feedback and results to build a the next version that WILL have a fee ... and time to target a more appropriate audience

"sign me up for an EPM/Xperiencify certification combo ... it's very much needed ... having the program uploaded IS helpful but a consultant to review the program and how it fits into XP along with recommendations on what to add/modify not only give the course creator more confidence in their program, it creates a better user experience so students have few friction points and are able to get through.
not to mention a second set of marketing and copywriting eyes to review (and read) for clarity can pay for itself exponentially
I know because I've had someone pay me to help them and I'd love to see that option be available to other EPM graduates ... with the pre-requisite being they've gone through the paper plane version live and have feedback from students to revise"
I STARTED EPM A MONTH AFTER I DISCOVERED COACHING, I HAD JUST GOTTEN MY COACHING CERTIFICATION AND THAT WAS IT... I HAD NO IDEA WHAT MY MACRO OR MICRO NICHE WAS, I DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CREATING A COURSE. ALL I HAD WAS THE RAW DESIRE TO HELP PEOPLE WITHIN MY CIRCLE, WITH MY STRENGTH IN LISTENING NAVIGATE THEIR LIFE'S CHALLENGES. EPM HAS BEEN THE PIECE THAT TIED EVERYTHING TOGETHER.
