I had the idea for this program in my head for a few years and even took another course on how to do course that I gave up on early. I was still lost and honestly doing and focusing on the right things and the wrong times until I was faced with overwhelm and putting the idea back on the shelf. I joined EPM and never looked back. Marisa's clear, step-by-step training left no room for me to talk myself out of it. Everything, and I mean everything, was there for me. I rode through the discomfort of taking imperfect action, a little every day facing my own personal demons along the way and made it to graduation. What a great feeling. I am already looking forward to the next version of what I have created. Your FIRST SALE Story
My first sale came from individuals who new of my work. I joined EPM and realized I needed a plan and did not have a clue on what it would look like and EPM helped me to begin mapping it all out.
Your PROVED MY IDEA Story
My first sale gave me a little more confidence and signed up three others in one day after that initial sale. I listened to each teacher that I talked to and used what they had to say, ideas, concerns, pain points etc in my next conversations. These live discussions taught me everything that I needed to know going into my next calls. I learned the immense power of chatterboxing here.
Your MADE A WHOLE LOT MORE Story
I had this big idea that we were telling educators about the importance of creating trauma-informed learning environments but we were not sharing the specifics of how to do it. I wan't sure what to do to create an organized method that included specific approaches toward the solution. I joined EPM and the plan began to come in view. I figured out the areas to include and specific approaches, the pace, my options for LIVE or recorded, I especially learned the mission and continually worked from my mission when I felt stuck. I mapped out the 4 month process and well sold my program to a school. With 3 more schools ready to began. A a new school district in my voicemail waiting to hear from me. This came after my presentation to over 200 people at a symposium where I practiced my chatterboxing skills. While in EPM, I began implementing some of the pieces of what is now the Educator's Trauma-Informed Blueprint.This program was born from my 2015 phenomenological research study, Recently, I caught the ear of the California Surgeon General's Office. I joined their Expert Advisory Panel and began a contract to present about trauma-informed practices and include information about their Safe Spaces 2j-hour online training. It is a good year and EPM definitely helped me to the point of "Made a Whole Lot More"!
Well, the biggest change in my business is I have a new focus and a Strategic Plan is in place with a distinct purpose. Using my product roadmap, I can be focused on achieve what is written on my new roadmap. My 5-semester retirement is so clear! I have a program that I can spend that retirement time implementing and I can still travel and take beautiful naps. My biggest takeaway is that with amazing coaching I can do truly amazing things. Definitely what is possible for me is to truly live my passion of facilitating transformations and not just teaching them, but assist with change that others can also see for themselves. I can RETIRE from the college space soon.
Coach Lucas was so amazing. I could feel that he understood my vision. I am proud to be an EPM Graduate to the second power! My first EPM laid the foundation for a module in this new product. "After 26+ years in the corporate world, calculating self-insured employer renewal cost projections and data analysis, the steadily increasing premiums and lesser benefits employers were forced to pass along to their employees, gave me the desire to do something that could help people with their financial issues.
I participated in a writing program but discovered I didn't like writing at the pace or the subject matter that was required. So, I became a Ramsey Preferred Financial Coach, which I love; however, I knew I would not be able to make the same amount of income I had made in the past. After attending two of Marisa Murgatroyd's presentations on her Experience Based Programs, I was immediately drawn to her enthusiasm, knowledge base, and the experience-based programs that would allow me to create incredible programs from the many ideas I had swirling around in my head.
I joined Marisa's Experience Based Program and learned I would need to do the Minimum Viable Product option, which I wasn't excited about, but I have since learned to trust any advice and teaching she has to offer. Everything Marisa teaches is based on her own experience over many years. She repeatedly reminded her students the reason she is so successful now is because of the mistakes she made along the way. I found that inspiring and respectable. She NEVER gave up!
Every aspect of the Experience Based Product Program is top-notch! As someone who has always struggled with reading comprehension, I found it extremely helpful to have the written transcripts to go along with the videos and worksheets. The way the sessions were 'dripped' out prevented me from becoming overwhelmed. And, when I was having a difficult time, I knew my Coach Mel would be there, ready to help! Coach Mel has been utterly amazing! She is responsive, genuinely caring, personable, and a wonderful addition to Coach Matthew on the GIDF sessions. I was overthinking, making my program(s) too complicated, and wanted to sell a high-priced program. My mom has always told me I'm hard-headed...Well, she's right! My thirteenth version of my 1:1 program is going to be a winner! And I know once I sell three, I will have testimonials and will be able to continue to expand on this same program, along with soooo many others I have in mind.

After launching my MVP TODAY, 1/29/2024, I talked to a woman whose son lives on his own; however, due to mental issues, he receives a special rate for his housing. She let me know she mainly reached out to find out more about my program because of one of her neighbors, who is having problems with his son. She LOVED the program and let me know she wished she would have had it when her older son was growing up.
I am 3 feet away from that gold and am not going to stop digging until I get there!! IT'S ON, FOLKS!! GEAR UP!
OH...and, for the record...When I sign up for Momentum, I am officially requesting that Coach Mel remains my coach. (It's kind of a make-it-or-break-it deal....) :)"
I have a clear vision, mission statement, and business plan. I've learned how to listen more and follow the advice of those who are wiser than me (and there are plenty of them!) :) Simple, clear, concise wins every time! Over complicated is a killer! The sky's the limit, people! This is only the beginning!

Last year I developed an online 6 Step course and was not able to sell it as expected. Now while completing EPM, I developed a new course and was able to position it much better. The qualifying questions and the mission were super helpful. I appreciate all the marketing material and teaching. Also, the different ways how to develop a program (ie. online and hybrid online/ 1:1 or group coaching). I have been listening and re-listening to all the training and coaching and find it excellent and results-producing.

I will deliver my 30 day transformation again and again (like every second month)
Unlike some other participants, I came into the program with a contract to deliver a live leadership program to 50 women over ten sessions through a "university-to-business" offering. I have already done this program 5 times since 2015 in person and 2021 is to be the first time it will be virtual. I signed up for the course to learn how to make the virtual format and experience amazing for this contract. I followed the EPM prompts to identify a new online course so that I could experience and practice all the components of success that EPM teaches. At the same time, we were challenged to fill registration for the university course, so I used some of the EPM recruitment principles to fill the roster. I also adapted the curriculum to include all of the elements of Experience Escalation, including Mission, Future Self, Bird's Eye View, Constant Wins, Normalizing Challenges, Peak Emotional Experience, Feedback Loops, Community, Unstoppable Momentum, and Mission Accomplished. Prior years of the program had some degree of some of these so I already knew intuitively that they were important. My great success is gaining clarity on how important AND how to engineer the elements into the curriculum and the delivery. Since I work through the university's network and systems, I am making my experience tracking manual in 2021 and it will be the first time that activities within the program have completion points and add up to a celebration of course completion at the end. My participants will miss the Ka-Ching sound effects, which I hope to replicate with recognition and celebration along the way during the live Zoom meetings. For the first time, this year, I am doing a Flipped Classroom, so I am pre-recording content for viewing between live Zoom meetings and using the Zoom meetings for group coaching each week. I am SO appreciative of Marissa's excellent example of pre-recorded content. After delivering it for five years and adapting along the way, I know where to drop in the experience escalation. In addition, each participant also gets two 1:1 coaching sessions with me that begin mid-program. I have extended my license for Experiencify and I am determined to get my "Speak for Impact" course uploaded and run that program as a follow-up to my university-based leadership program. The live program will begin on February 9 and run through April 28. I am confident, energized, and have a whole new toolbox of skills and resources to bring to the table to WOW! everyone, including a first-over orientation session and constant communication between weekly Zoom's. My mission for the program, which I am embracing, is to deliver a focused, energized experience that supports a wave of forward motion so each woman moves from her individually-defined mission to her Mission Accomplished in ten sessions. Reflecting back through the course, I think I would have been smarter to just set the university course transformation as my EPM mission instead of running a parallel effort with the assignments to create my own separate program. Good news, I now have two great outcomes - an amazing university program and a brand-new independent program that is ALMOST ready to launch. I do have some participant interest through my survey, chatter boxing, and survey results sharing and I'm expecting to sell seats later this Spring.
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Keep moving, trust the process, do the work. Iterate your way to Awesome - my new mantra!

EPM provided the pathway to transition my thinking about the potential in online programs, paved the way technically with Experiencify and all the accompanying integration of services, and served up a step-by-step guide so that I may avoid the ditches and power along the roadway of proven success.

EPM has opened my eyes and taught me exactly what I need to know to evolve my business and my career for the next chapter of my life
What has been the biggest change in your business?
Two things. 1. Realizing that my calling is to honor the mission that each woman sets for herself and provide the experience escalation that guides her to her own mission accomplished. Previously, I had been making room for women to get a range of different value from the program, but I didn't partner with them to assure it. 2. Also, I now have a pathway to wind down my career by moving from large-scale programs and client-directed consulting to marketing the very specific service that I truly love the most using the online environment. I will be stripping away all the other aspects that I have been doing and distill to the sweetest ingredient. I see that as an amazing Final Act in my career.
What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I will ease into retirement by down-scoping my practice from large programs to coach women (1:1 or 1:few) in building their capacity and impact to achieve their career goals - what I do best!
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
Before I started with EPM, I was not sure if I could even achieve the Mission Accomplished. Despite trying so hard for many years, I've never really made any money. But I was attracted to Marisa's energy and felt that I could learn something here that I'd been missing so far.
When I started EPM in October, I was just doing a 5-Day Challenge ""The Joy of Movement"" on Facebook. Out of the 34 who signed up for the challenge, only a few completed it (too much content for 5 days!), but 6 wanted to continue with a course (one of them received it as the Grand Prize during the Challenge). I was unsure whether I should do it right there and then, or rather wait until I had gone through the program. I spoke with coach Samara, and she recommended I should do it, even if only with six people, and look at it as my 'Beta' Course. So I went ahead and started the 8-week course in November. I was chatterboxing with two more people, and both signed up, so all in all I had 8 people in the Beta course, giving me $1379.
Going through the program and at the same time creating a new course was sometimes challenging, as there was so much to do and learn. But - I am so glad I did it! I learned so many things while teaching it, and also realized and understood what needs to be changed in the new course now. One of the things that came up was that my curriculum had way too much content for the 8 weeks, and also that I needed to simplify a few of the topics. Another point that became very obvious during the course was that the students loved the short live teachings I did during the Q&A Zoom Calls. So midway through the beta, I moved from pre-recording the body-exploration lessons (which are part of each weekly training) to teaching them live, which also gave me the opportunity to be in constant communication with my students, helping me decide which topics to include or do next. Also, listening to all their questions showed me what their needs were, allowing me to adjust the training based on what came up. BIG LESSON here for me!
Now, I have one more week to go in the Beta (we took a 2-week break over Christmas), but I have already 5 people signed up for my new, 12-week course, (4 of them continuing with me after the Beta, for a special price), and one new student, meaning that I did not only reach Mission Accomplished, but also reached me Target Goal of $3000. And I still have one week to go to promote before the new course starts.
I am absolutely thrilled with my results - it's the best course I've ever taken, and the first one I actually completed. So, thank you Marisa Murgatroyd, Coach Samara, Murray, Matthew, and Emily, as well as all my fellow students for their coaching, encouragement, and pushing me to step outside of my comfort zone. The greatest breakthrough for me was to actually talk to people, I never considered myself a 'sales person', but my two signups with the chatter boxing really helped me to overcome my fears - I realized, I CAN DO IT!
I really loved the experience here, and I will definitely go through all the material again, 'iterating my course to awesome.'
I have a huge issue with analysis paralysis over many years dealing with a perceived big topic - health and disease - the huge rise in chronic diseases - whereas so many can be prevented or even reversed. My attempts to produce a coaching course ( which was previously face to face pre pandemic) was not evolving either. My efforts were too complicated and I didn't find it easy at all to simplify let alone find the "niche". Especially since sometimes the word "niche" is also open to different interpretations - is it the target audience or is it the marketing message? - anyway after many aborted efforts over two years attempting to speak to people and medical professionals about prevention of disease I literally bit the bullet and decided to join EPM. Why? Because I needed a structure, a methodology, a support network and a back up in terms of lifetime access to all the modules and trainings.. unheard of usually in the online business development world. Heartwarming and supportive teams at EPM beyond reproach. As a result I have completed all the modules, done my chatterboxing and have 5 people ready to join my beta programme as I am going along although I haven't directly delivered anything yet. The launch date is 28th February with a delivery date of 28th March. I am excited about my increase in confidence, my ability to develop public speaking skills and bring to the world I hope a world class transformational experience for my clients. Despite the moments of despair, frustration, confusion and distress I have made some amazing friends also on the course and we have mutually helped each other. The values of EPM are world class and I have thoroughly enjoyed this as this has also been a journey of deep reflection and personal growth. I hope I do this the justice it deserves . I have tried building online businesses in the past but have been frustrated with the complicated funnels and tech. When I joined EPM, I realised that the actual offer is the most important foundation. I learned to keep making imperfect decisions and moving forward so that I never get stuck. I was convicted about the percentage of people who don't fininsh on line courses and was immediately attracted to the idea of gamification which was my initial drew to EPM. Then with the help of all the great information in the training videos including the great important detail in creating a course, I was more excited to take part in this training and create my 12-week course
"I've always wanted to create a course, (I have several of them in me) but didn't have any idea where to even begin. I've bought MANY courses in the past but usually got thru the first module and never finished... not one of them. But then I joined EPM out of DESPERATION (cause I'm desperate to leave my ""day job"") and now I have a completed Course in my pocket with many more on the horizon! And just started my 30-Day Challenge Beta Course with 10 lovely souls on Sunday 01-22-2023.
I loved the methodical step-by-step approach. It made it so ""easy-peasy"" to break down all the steps a little at a time. To be able to drill down to what's important and what the client needs to know about how we can help them as opposed to what we're going to use to help them (product/tools) is invaluable.

I had been reaching out to many people with little to no response. It is actually when I ditched the script and everything that I had learned and just met up with a teacher friend for coffee face-to-face and, with genuine excitement, told him about my offer that it clicked. He was in and really excited about it as well. This was a great lesson in not hiding and just going out there and talking to real humans again.

After my first sale I was terrified that nobody else would sign up and that when the program began, it would just be me and one other person. This became the fuel to my eff ramp uports more than I ever thought possible. I went for days and nights, reaching out. I will continue this process until my launch. This idea of an imperfect launch is so powerful and, in itself, becomes the last bit of motivation that you need to actually do it. As a bonus in this process, I have been asked to speak at a couple of really incredible education conferences that will put me in front of a few thousand teachers. I am already planning my freebie that funnels them towards buying my full program! Beyond thrilled with this.
I now have the confidence that I can put together future trainings that will improve people's lives and my own bottom line, and that I can run all of it from my computer and Zoom platform from the comfort of my home. I feel like I have the capacity now to follow through on the things that I start. I am an idea person with 20 things half done. The EPM training helped me see clearly where my weak spots were and allowed me to address them and push through. So beyond having a course to offer to the world I feel that I learned what it takes to bring a project from concept to finish line and I am forever grateful. To be fearless and patient. Imperfect steady action is the tortoise to the hare that is the current pace of social media quick fix, instant result culture. I feel like a have a new set of tools and am confident to build out my own suite of experience products.
