Hi! I'm a professional Spanish teacher and before EPM I didn't know what I wanted to do exactly. This program helped me figure that out. I've been able to determine who I want to help and how I want to serve others with a different approach. I'm still in the process of finishing my program :)

I was a semi-retired practitioner, looking to increase my income, but not wanting to take on more patients. I considered creating an online program but had no idea where to start. I was introduced to Marisa's program and heard her speak. I was very impressed, and despite being nervous of the cost, I decided to join. It was a wonderful decision. I learned so much about marketing, technology, and, importantly, about overcoming my own self-limiting beliefs. Despite multiple challenges that caused me to get behind, I made it through the program, and even before I was actually at the point of taking the Chatterboxing session, I talked to people about my course and one signed up!

I was having a problem with confidence. I wasn't sure that anyone would want to take my program. But when I completed the Features and Benefits milestones and then created the Launch Plan, I realized that the program was a great value! I also was having a hard time imagining myself doing email campaigns or, worse, Facebook Live presentations, as I had such aversion to social media. Equally, though, I was nervous to talk to people, even though I'm somewhat extroverted because I didn't want to talk up my program and then not be able to deliver. Nevertheless, I began talking to people. I hadn't even reached the chatterboxing session of EPM, so I had no proper script - and yet there was a lot of interest. This was encouraging, but I still held back on mentioning price! Finally I talked to my physical therapist about my program, and she wanted to sign up! I made a sale, without having done the chatterbox session, and without one word of content written! I never would have believed it possible.

I was having a problem with knowing how to structure a product that would attract clients to my new business, I wasn't sure what to do and I would often give up because I struggled with a need for perfection before I would take action. I held myself back so much due to the fear that what I created would not be good enough. I joined the Experience Product Masterclass and I learned a framework by which I could create a product that would really resonate with my audience and generate sales. I worked through the exercises and created my minimum viable product and through consistent discussions with potential clients I was able to generate both interest and sales boosting my confidence to show up and serve my clients in an authentic and engaged way.

I was having a problem creating a niche product targeted the male demo of the comic com community, I wasn’t sure what to do regarding a specific topic. I joined EPM and realized creating an MVP focused on helping this group become more successful was the easiest way to test the market. I joined a bunch of dating sites for research as well as Nerd Dating pages on Facebook and started chatterboxing. While I haven't sold a product at the time of this story, I have no doubt based on feedback to my questions, this group will buy from me!

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
"I was very frustrated with an online course I was attempting to complete. They advertised ""no technical skills required"". I guess they don't consider using computers and learning new software ""technical."" That was my problem area and I could get no help. I was just told to ""go to the Facebook group, someone will answer your questions. That never happened. So, I went elsewhere to find my answers. I started watching Utube videos on ""how to"" channels. I decided that once I figured out how to do this stuff, I was going to create my own course and aim it at seniors like me who didn't know all these programs. I would include all the steps, not throw out comments when presenting the course like ""I'm not going to cover that, any 10-year-old can do that.""

I found Marisa's course and thought this would be a way to learn to write online courses. So I signed up for the EPM course. I soon realized that this is an entirely new way of doing things. Little did I know all the information I would receive would cover so many areas that I knew little or nothing about. The coaching was great. I never heard things like ""any 10-year-old can do that"" I was given straight-up solutions so I could move on. I learned about how psychology was used to get people interested. I knew there was a lot of that in advertising but did not know how to us it myself. I learned how AI is being used now in content creation. I learned there were limits to the usage of AI as it is not always a cut-and-paste job. It is a tool to be used, just like any other tool you would to complete a project.

When it came to the bumps in the road, my biggest one is marketing. They prefer what they refer to as chatterboxing, meaning talking to anyone and everyone about your product. My biggest problem is that I have been living isolated for many years. I have no friends, All my long time friends have died, mostly from illnesses related to just old age. I left the USA to return to the Philippines where I have lived for many years out of the past 55 years. But, even here all my old friends are gone. On top of that, I decided to move to a completely different part of the Philippines on a different island where I knew no one. My only contacts with anyone on this island were Utubers I follow and had left comments on their channels before, I had been interviewed by one of them for their channel content. So, I contacted him. I needed an address for a shipment from Marisa. He let me borrow his. I was still looking for a place to rent. He wanted to do a followup interview which I agreed to. But I ask if I could mention my new program and company I had set up and was getting ready to launch. He agreed. This was my first time talking about my course. As it turned out, he was interested. So this generated my first ""conversation"" in the chatterboxing program. I feel I am very close to closing my first sale. I'm still in the closing phase and hope to be successful. Although this first course is not the one I plan on creating in the future, it is a subject I know well and have taught in classrooms in the past. This is just a new updated version. This course has been the key to my onward movement toward my new company goals. "

It is much closer to becoming operational. Up to now it has just been a legally formed shell. Mentally, it has given me new direction, new energy, no ways to get down the road. I just have to keep doing what I need to do and I will reach my goals. It puts me back in the drivers seat with my life. It filled my tank with new ideas and ways to get things done.

"I have been running my Singing Coaching business since 2011 but I've never been able to create a reliable level of income to support myself and my family.
It was really getting me down and I often thought of giving up. I joined the Experience Product Masterclass because it felt like a sure-fire route to create and sell a signature program that I could sell over and over again. I've run several in-person groups in my local area and done a lot of 1-1 coaching both in person and on zoom. But I wanted to create an online course, so I could work with larger numbers of people, from across the world, and I didn't know how to create that on my own.

I already knew how to create courses and good offers but I learnt a lot from EPM that will serve my business for years to come. I found the '10 core experiencification elements' an exciting way to make my courses more engaging. I loved the whole Mission Possible to Mission Accomplished that makes students know exactly what they will achieve through your course and a clear and rewarding end-point when they do that.

I found the array of campaigns and campaign templates to be invaluable. I didn't know about the chatterboxing method and now I know I can go out there and clients anytime without any tech or ad spend ( although it is very time-consuming).

I had done a lot of email campaigns in the past but in 10 years of following business gurus online, no-one had told me that I really needed to create a 4- or 5-day email campaign to actually see decent results and get decent amount of purchases from my list. I had only ever sent 1 or 2 or 3 emails when making an offer and that is clearly a big reason why I hadn't been getting the uptake I wanted.
Now I have the templates to use this approach whenever I like.

I also wish I had been given the Sales For Superheroes script 10 years ago! It is incredibly powerful, and also valuable to the client. I had been wanting to learn sales properly for sometime but not been able to invest in a program. So I was overjoyed to be given this template as part of the program. Now I know all my Discovery Calls / Sales calls will have a much better chance of being effective.

I'm delighted that there are more bonuses within the course that I can look at when I've got time, like the one on webinars and the launch success secrets.

I hit Mission Accomplished about 5 days before the end of the course, and because of that I realised I could actually give myself more time to get more students. So I put back the start date of the course to give myself an extra week. I know this will enable me to get into profit, rather than just break-even. So at the time of writing ( end of EPM) I have 5 students which is $650 over MA, and I hope to get at least another 5 by the time it starts.

However I have also spent about $280 on facebook ads, which got me 1 of my students so far. aswell as getting me 60 new subscribers. But ads is not something Marisa teaches on this course, its something I learnt elsewhere.
I do think there is not really enough time to get everything done in the 12-week timeframe without killing yourself. Before Christmas I did the recommended amount of work (7-10 hours per week) and got all my tasks completed and fitted into my life. But since the beginning of January I've been working 45 hours a week on my EPM campaigns etc. I'm exhausted, and I couldn't have done it if I also had a job. It really is an enormous task and I would have preferred another couple of weeks of EPM just to give me time and support me in creating, sending and following up the campaigns, and enable me to not get burnt out which I am.

The support from the coaches was absolutely amazing and I couldn't have been sure I was getting my message and content right without their feedback. This is a part of EPM which really stands out and makes it different from all the others out there. You don't just get left alone to follow the instructions and hope for the best, a=you actually get detailed feedback on whether your choices, words, etc will be effective.

I've really enjoyed the course and the community. I hope I will make a profit on this course by the time I get to cart close. And even if not, I've covered my cost, got a group of 5 students to teach, and the most enormous set of marketing assets that I can use time and time again.

So hopefully this will be the turning point for my business!"

Marisa, Murry, Coach Debra, and the entire team are super wonderful and all have super powers that help produce miracles in people like me. Simply put, I abhor computers, technology, deadlines, and boot camp tactics, but with skill, encouragement, patience, inspiration, expertise, authentic and genuine concern for your students, I was able to at least graduate. I am working diligently on accomplishing my Mission Completion in my shortest time possible. My determination is to not only provide a needed service for the ones that will participate in my program (thanks to you), but also not to be counted as one who was left behind. I owe all of what I have become and what I will become to the dedicated support from EPM, especially you Marisa. Just saying thank you isn't enough!

Your Graduation Story
I was struggling to translate my endless content ideas into a doable course that would attract buyers, but I wasn’t sure how to decide what to sell. I joined the Experience Product Masterclass and learned how to include customers in the product creation. Even though I felt like I had so much to learn as a course creator, I stuck with the process that Marisa laid out, giving myself the grace to do as much as I could. As a result, I completed a launch cycle for the first time ever and earned back the cost of the EPM course plus a bit more. Now that I have accomplished that, it will be easier for me to do it the next time and the next time after that.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
The iterate your way to awesome mentality helped me bypass the patterns of perfectionism that held me back in the past. And, I have finally integrated the idea of using benefits language, not just describing features.

How did EPM help you become successful?
Marisa is an amazing teacher. She helped me know what to focus on and what to ignore. She wove the principles she teaches into every video, exercise, and part of the program. Unlike other programs that only talk about mindset or suggest the high level steps, EPM integrates mindset, theory, and step-by-step instruction. This makes the program transformational and practical.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I've learned a lot just from chosing something to implement. I'm proud of myself for completing the course creation to launch cycle.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Getting input from potential clients before I create the course has been an important change in my business. Also, I now look through my client program fulfillment with experience-colored glasses. I plan ways for them to feel rewarded frequently along the way.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
I feel awesomely equipped to create more programs and courses.

I was having a challenge in deciding on the “right” time to launch my online course program. I was of the mindset that I needed to have all the parts finished before I could launch. Each time that I thought I was finally ready to launch my online courses, my desire for it to be perfect stopped me from launching my product. This cycle continued for more than 10 years. I wasn’t sure what to do because I operated in a silo. I didn’t have a community, nor did I have a coach or mentor to help me with accountability. I felt stuck. I joined EPM 2021 and learned that #progressoverperfection was the thing that gave me permission to launch my program. I gained exposure to many business elements such as the sales and marketing modules that gave me clarity on how to appropriately market and sell my product. Also, the program allowed me to be open to sharing and receiving feedback from our wonderful coaches and EPMers. I didn't come into EPM with the mindset of just meeting the requirements. As I got deeper into each module, I looked at each section as a piece to the puzzle of launching my profitable product MVP. Life interruptions continued to be a barrier. However, the difference that I had this go around was a community of support and my self-commitment to the EPM mission – to design, launch and profit from my Experience Product in 12 weeks. My specific results have come to fruition whereby I met all my targeted milestones from each of the modules and graduated. I supercharged my product and presented it to customers on 1/6/2022. I have exceeded the minimum profit goal of making back my initial investment of $2000 and exceeding the profit goal by signing on a total of 18 clients and counting with my introductory price point of $1997.00. So, I can confidently say MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! My journey continues and I have only just begun to iterate my way to awesome. Thank you to Marisa and Team for making my dream of online course development become a reality!
