I’d been working 1:1 for 13 years and had been thinking about creating a course to reach more people for the past 5. During that time, I wrote a book, which I wanted to use as the basis of the course. But I just couldn’t figure out how to make it fun and help people stay engaged to get results. I’d taken one other course-creating-course that had some helpful tips, but I hadn’t made it to the finish line. I lost motivation and felt overwhelmed and frustrated. FOR 5 YEARS! Then I joined and later graduated from the super-fun Experience Product Masterclass. I am no longer stuck. I completed my mission and feel thrilled about what is coming together. I feel like I will be able to iterate my way to awesome quickly with all that I have learned and be able to keep my audience engaged and motivated to get their most helpful results. I can’t wait to launch my paper plane version and continue to upgrade and improve it. I already have a talk at our large local bookstore arranged and have been chatterboxing to get the word out. After four years (!), I'm so excited to be launching my interactive online course to couples expecting their first baby! I had taken one other course-creating course but had never gotten to the finish line. It was frustrating to the point of almost giving up. Your FIRST SALE Story - My dream as a Life and Wellness Coach has been to create my own program to help people live the life they deserve. I tried to do everything I was capable of doing but it was enough. I felt stuck, confused and didn’t know how to make my next step. I was second guessing my ability to feel worthy of selling my own program. Who was going to buy my program? I created over 22 drafts and I still needed support to tell me that the world is waiting to hear my voice. The sadness and frusration kicked in. I so want my own program and I have put in countless hours trying to make it happen. Was it all a waste? . I sat quietly, praying for answers to come and re-framing my mindset. I asked myself, Are you really going to give up now”? I never quit! What the heck! I kept getting these emails from Marissa some lady I saw speak a few months ago during my coaching program. I suddenly felt compelled to listen to wait she was saying. I listened to hear introductory emails and I got so excited. This is exactly what I am looking for, my prayers have been answered.
I joined Marissa’s program called EPM and I discovered a proven, reliable system to create my own product. It gave me the confidence I was looking for and the support I needed to propel forward in my life and career. I learned to stop being a perfectionist and just make a minimum viable product. During the intensive training program,I was having doubts about how I was going to accomplish chatterboxing to over 30 people.
Even though, I am very social and confident but it feels strange to now sell my program. Many questions arise, “Will they like the idea?” “Am I worthy?” “Will they think I am asking too much?” I am second guessing myself. However, I just kept making small steps each day and recording my chatterboxing. I started celebrating my success that I was taking action each day and going through all the detailed modules that Marissa created. Eventhough, I didn’t see results yet, I had leads and opportunities. I wasn’t sure what to do because I set high goals for myself and I always accomplish them. Surprisingly, people were so enlightened and excited. They wanted to help me. I started getting referrals. But then a tragic event happened. My father passed away at the beginning of the year. I was frozen and heartbroken not only for the loss of my dad but that my dream was shattered. I had to put my life on hold. Marissa’s team sent me an email to check in with me to see what might be happening in my life. It was the catalyst that re-sparked my goals. Ironically, I made my first sale at my father’s funeral. I was chatterboxing and catching up with family and friends and I had someone sign up for my program. Holy Batman! I was doing the happy dance. I felt my father was there in spirit giving me the support I needed. It showed me that if you believe in yourself and your product people will feel your passion and drive and share the excitement with you. I now have my confidence and drive back and am SUPERCHARGED! When I joined EPM, I was having issues with organizing the ideas for my product. I was having challenges keeping the specifics concise, interesting and effective. I have enrolled in different courses but never gained traction. The results that were promised never materialized even with the 100% effort I put into it. When I joined EPM, I discovered that there is a better and more effective way of creating a course and launching it to the specific niche I wanted to target. I was assigned to the coaching pod of the most empowering and motivating Coach Debra, who made the course creation doable and fun. I also gained valuable insights and ideas from my coaching pod. With the support of Marisa Murgatroyd, Coach Debra, the other coaches and my teammates, I was able to reach mission accomplished, created my own course and launched it. It would not have been possible without EPM.
I was having a hard time figuring out my message to my clients. I wasn't sure what to do even when I did figure out this message so I joined EPM and truly took the modules step by step and got my thoughts together to create a message to my future clients. Marissa is so clear in the messaging and steps. It helped me outline everything and feel more confident.
Your GRADUATION Story
I have been working on a program for over a year & invested $ in other launch programs that failed me. EMP has really made the process clear and fun to learn. I realized I had to rethink my whole program to be less complicated, easy & fun to do. It brought me back to "square one" to redesign my offer and I have joined Xpentify to help me bring the program to life! Your FIRST SALE Story
I have 3 ladies that want to use the course in their leisure when I have created all of the videos. Since I work full time and my course is 7 modules, it has taken me most of my extra time to create nice videos. I am looking forward to my last recorded video done at a workshop I am doing in a couple of weeks.
I started a FREE Beta Group, so I need to complete it before I ITERATE the program. However, I feel after joining EPM I will have a FIRST SALE STORY soon!
Your PROVED MY IDEA Story
Before joining EMP, I was floundering of how to design and deliver my course idea. EMP gave me the structure and motivation I needed to get my idea out of my head and visualize how it can actually work! I am looking forward to my launch!

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
I was having a challenge with figuring out who to talk to about my product. I wasn't sure what to do. I was definitely self sabotaging until I decided to get over myself and talk so come colleagues about what I was doing. I also decided to use a social media template from the Facebook group. This lead to some responses, that led to two conversations, that to one person saying yes and the other saying she would figure out how to get the money. I was proud of myself for feeling the fear (of talking about my product) and doing it anyway. It was a lot easier than I was making it out to be in my head.
I feel more confident talking about my product. I feel more confident and motivated to continue this process. Don't every give up! You can turn your personal experience/expertise into a viable product that people want to invest in. To infinity and beyond! There are no limits to what's possible. Now I can make other programs and contribute to my families legacy.
"I had a very successful summer doing 1:1 coaching helping entrepreneurs navigate the financial obstacles resulting from COVID but I was maxed out. I simply could not take on more clients. I had always wanted to offer an online course and knew I could help more business owners if I made better use of my time teaching to groups.
Years ago I put together an online course but it was a disaster. I really had no idea what I was doing. When I saw the offer for the Live Your Message I knew it was just what I needed. I committed wholeheartedly to doing what it took to complete the course and it has been so worth it - HUGE!
I came to this course with tons of skills but I have learned so much more than I ever expected. How to create course materials people can actually benefit from. That perfection is not a requirement to bringing my course into the world and that a minimum viable product that gets done is better than something that sits on the shelf and gathers dust. I learned that I can expect challenges to my effort, frustration, discouragement, and a whole lot more and that it is completely NORMAL.
I had three sales for my program during my early bird offer and then... crickets. Nothing. When registration closed and my course was starting in two days I still only had 3. Frankly, I was crushed. There was no way I was going to hit mission accomplished. However, with Marisa Murgatroyd's coaching, encouragement and wisdom I kept asking the question "How can I still make this happen?" So I continued my social media marketing efforts. Now get, normally I would have stopped, accepted my disappointment, and maybe even allowed doubt to keep me from making any future offers. However, one of those who were signed up and taking my course saw a post and said "please tell me more." I called her and engaged in chatterboxing... and ... she said YES... I need one-on-one coaching with you. Because she got such great value from the course in our very first hour together she was excited to do more to make her 2021 a much, much better year than she has had in a very long time.
She could see how working with me 1:1 would allow her to make more money with her business, to get out from under debt, to stop worrying about how she was going to make rent, and to build the kinds of revenue streams that would allow her to travel and play 8 weeks a year with money in the bank and without guilt.
Since this sale would not have occurred except for my EPM program this put me at MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Whoo-hoo."

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
The deeper understanding of what my audience cares about when it comes to having a profitable business. I had dozens of iterations of my mission statement which helped me refine my offer.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
My work is life-changing for entrepreneurs. Being able to share it with more of them brings me so much joy!
What has been the biggest change in your business?
I deeper understanding of what my audience wants. How to communicate more clearly with them. How to show them their future selves in a powerful way. Now having a clear path to helping more people have profitable businesses so they can have a life they love.
March of 2020--I had just purchased a house with the goal of moving my parents in, and working towards construction to do so. Two days later-- I was laid off my career were I had worked for 17 and a half yrs! ....COVID!!!
Who could have ever expected that we would experience and live during a pandemic crisis!? What should have been some of the happiest moments of life-goal-accomplishments quickly turned into months of stress and worry and pivoting and adapting just to survive. It cost me a lot more than I would have liked -- but I made it work.
After moving in the summer and taking some time to settle into the house, I then became depressed, lost, almost useless. Reality had set! I had worked my butt off daily nonstop for so so long -- and now I was facing my naked deepest self: ""What was my purpose?"" ""My motivation to get out of bed?"" ""Who am I in this world?"" and most importantly ""What DO I WANT?""
The end of October is when I came across EPM from doing the Profitable Product Idea Challenge. You sucked me into your funnel Marisa-- and I was OK with it! It was nearing the end of the year, and almost all my savings had been spent. I played out multiple scenarios in my head. I always had back-up plans--but now financially I was at the absolute end of my rope. It took much courage but I realized that I was worth investing in myself for once. It is right then and there that I took my last (literally) money that I had in my bank account and happily paid the $2,000 to join in EPM. I knew I was making the right choice and I have not looked back since!
While I sit here today graduating, I have not hit Mission Accomplished. And I am COMPLETELY FINE with that. Secretly, my beginning mission was never to make $2000-- but to learn the skill set and knowledge that will help me into developing a program that can make me $2 million and beyond! The product I am developing and niche that I chose requires much research and due diligence in creating something that can live up to my mission and set the strong foundation for my brand. Starting from absolute scratch isn't the easiest way to make an Experience Product -- but I know it will all be worth it!
I am truly so proud of the amount of time and work I put into this program. I would often work from 8am-11pm DAILY--even weekends-- and sometimes finish even later. I have done every single Training--all the Replays-- even the Over-achievers track--absorbing as much as I possibly could. I've completed a few bonuses and look forward to continuing to learn with the others I have left to start. I have 100s of pages of notes and I am ready to deliver!
