I was having a problem keeping my clients emotionally engaged on my 6-month leadership Program. Beyond having clients learn skills intellectually and theoretically, I was looking for ways to keep my clients motivated by helping them apply and experience their new skills in their practical, real-life leadership context. Also, I wanted to broaden my reach as a Coach beyond my traditional corporate sector to eventually support women leaders around the world. I joined Experience Product Masterclass and learned how to re-design my Program for multiple learning styles. I also learned how to chatterbox (new thing you learned, realized or discovered). I have also learnt to overcome my internal resistance to social media. As a result, I am on my way to becoming more comfortable chatterboxing with my potential ideal clients on social media in a way that feels authentic to me. By simply doing this, I made a sale and am in the middle of some conversations that could lead to a few more sales! you got).

Your GRADUATION Story
I was struggling with honing in on my niche and enrolling the number of clients I desired. It had been over a year since I took a client through a complete 3 month coaching program. I would get frustrated every time I set a marketing goal because as much as I wanted to help people, my process of attracting clients was not congruent with my life. I joined the EPM and discovered that the number one reason why things weren't working for me was that I was trying to follow someone else's plan. In EPM I learned the step by step process of discovering my niche and creating an experience product that will take my clients to a solid achievable goal, something else I believe was missing in my coaching. In EMP I created a mission for my clients, marketing words to use in print and in conversation. I gained even more confidence to talk about my programs and how they can help people.

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
Before EMP I had be trained in giving strategy sessions that focus on serving the client so that when they said yes that they want to invest in themselves but there was something stopping them, I had a script to help the client so they could easily make the decision to invest in a program with me. at least 75% of the time clients invested. Although I improved with the script over time I sometimes find it difficult to work with and had to adapt it often. I also would often scramble toward the end of the closing to find the right thing to say when the clients' issues came up for reasons why they shouldn't invest. This was very frustrating when I could clearly see the clients wanted a solution, had a block, and I didn't want to seem salesy or pushy. In EMP I learned the 5 pivots of sealing the deal and although there are similar steps to what I was already doing, the 5 pivots are more natural and easier to accomplish. I have already taken one person through the closing conversation and at no point did I feel salesy. It was a natural easy conversation and the client felt heard and appreciated. Her commitment level is at a 9 to make a shift this year. She is considering the program I am offering and we are having a follow-up conversation in a week.

What's been the biggest change in your business?
The biggest change in my business so far is having a real focus on who I am serving and with what specifically am I serving them with- their mission. Having that goal is a real game changer. For me, too, a real game changer is the 3 tiered goal- minimum, target, and stretch. Also having some real plans and systems in place for my business, such as the product fulfillment sheet and the chatterboxing plan are super. I know these tools will catapult me in the right business direction..

How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
I have reignited excitement for my business and I am confident I can help homeschool mamas like me who want to run a business! I am generally more upbeat and feel more secure with a very workable life-giving plan of action!

What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
There are so many! One of my biggest ones is that you can iterate your way to awesome and make money in any stage of your business.

What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
What is now possible is fulfilling my dream of working with 30 moms in my 12 week live coaching program. Fulfilling this dream will allow me to impact these women, their families and beyond. I will also be able to pay off my debt and build wealth, give back to the community more, do more for my family, and renovate my house and pool!

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Just a HUGE thank you! This was the program - the missing link - after learning everything I had learned from being a Life Mastery Consultant with the Brave Thinking Institute.

"I feel that I was led to Marisa.

I was at the exact time that I was planning to create a course and I wasn’t sure how to go about it. Googling how to “create a course” only led to overwhelm!

It was at this point that a friend of mine spoke about Marisa’s “Crack Your Course” Challenge. I immediately signed up and I can tell you that I was convinced from Day 1 that I wanted to work with Marisa. I actually felt that the offer to join EPM came late!

I joined EPM and it was great. I loved how organized it was, I loved the logical structure and moving from one milestone to another. I loved the support I received from Coach Emily. I loved the Monday’s with Marisa and the technical myth buster, Get It Done Friday. The concept of an MYP made sense to me and I embraced it. I can be sure that if I had done this on my own I was going to build a whole course before I made my first sale.

I learnt the power of clear messaging to attract one’s ideal client. The power of having clarity on who the ideal client. Most importantly I learnt to embrace “Progress Over Perfection” and that we experience “breakdowns before breakthroughs.

All these learnings led me to launching my MVP!

At the time of writing this, I am at the stage of getting people to chatterbox with. This part, has been the most challenging and I am looking forward to crossing this hurdle and getting over to the promised land of serving and creating the life that I desire!"

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
Today, I was lucky enough to hit two EPM goals in one go. I just came off my first conversation and I am happy to report that I have a first sale As per plan, I offered my first client (a friend) the super low price of $497. She decided to go for 2 instalments of $298 (she’s a student). I’ve also tested receiving money through PayPalMe, which went super smoothly. She’ll help me develop the online part of the program that I don’t have yet. We start with the first NeuroCoaching session next Friday .This is HUGE although not so much money: the first client acquired through my own marketing efforts. This has been my next objective since last year. Next objective: someone who comes from outside my wider social circle. Thank you very much for your help and support, I much appreciate.

Being able to reach out to more people. The first client found through my own marketing efforts comes from my wider friendship circle. My next goal is to acquire a new client that is outside my wider social circle through my own marketing efforts, while still continuing with my chatterboxing with all my 2000 contacts. EPM gave me a missing piece of the business puzzle. I'm able to reach out to clients in a simple way through chatterboxing, which is much more than I was able to do before. I was completely stuck, not knowing how to reach out. Now I know. Thank you! Minimum viable everything. For me it was not only minimum viable product and mimimum viable marketing, but also minimum viable studying. In the past, I got stuck in perfectionism, trying to understand everything and study everyting in detail. Now, I was forced to proceed quickly, so I only did the minimum things, strictly following the process and advice from my coach. I really appreciate having Coach Jack on my team. It gave me confidence. Before I was unsure about everything I was doing. Now, when he told me that I nailed a few things myself, I start getting more self-confidenc that I can do it. It was really instrumental to have each piece of progress approved by Jack. I'm able to reach out to people and help those who need me. I'm thrilled what's coming as i'm determined to carry on and become unstoppable :-)

Thank you, Sincerely.

Your FIRST SALE Story
At first I wondered who would be my ideal client....then I realized...before I begin selling to others, I have to lay claim to myself. So I opened an official, separate business bank account, and transferred $13787 into this account.

EPM is truly the real deal. From helping me clarify my nieche and product to getting me to zoom into my best audience and crafting a mission statement that acts as my best sales copy, EPM has left no stone unturned. As a total tech phobe, some of the marketing campaigns seemed like a real challenge with a lot of tech to learn. However, the information given was simple and the tech implementation calls were invaluable. I kept it simple and sold mainly through chatterbox and a super simple referral process, where some of the single women I knew well wanted to do my program but couldn’t afford it. So I offered them the opportunity to get their seat for free if they brought me 3 people each (or 33% off for each person they bring). So they basically brought me warm leads and posted my lead magnet/webinar etc to their lists and facebook groups etc. I’m still in the middle of my launch just about to go out with a bigger email campaign to my list of 2000 women and having 6 ambassadors who will promote me. So I’m hoping to get to 10-20 course participants by end of my open cart (the week after valentines day, which is the day of my biggest webinar for my dating related launch).

I absolutely couldnt have done this without Marisa’s insights and my course idea was actually inspired by some comments from my coach and pod, leading to many pivots on course duration, focus, price point and messaging. This incredible process has made me a better teacher, entrepreneur, course creator and person, plus it pushed me to design a course to help women find their soulmates, which I used to find my own incredible soulmate worthy man. So not only have I hit my mission accomplished and stretch goal, I also have used my program to find the man who looks like he actually could be the love of my life. Thanks!!!

I had been taking small steps toward developing an online program to serve my previously offline tribe for almost a year. Although I learned many good nuggets, I was having trouble putting them together into a coherent system. I also struggled to find the right words to explain what results people would gain, and struggled with knowing what order to follow in getting these ideas formed into a productive, profitable business. Unconsciously, I also had a fear that I wouldn't be able to do enough to allow my people to get the really valuable results I want them to have. I joined EPM, and all of these issues were addressed in a step by step way that makes sense and fits together.

"I had very high hopes of hitting Mission Accomplished; however, I missed the mark by a long shot. Not making a single sale was VERY surprising to me--especially when I consider the statistics. When I look at the numbers, I should have made at least four sales.

I have been physically ill, but my goal when I recover is to debrief my launch to discover what I can do better and document the lessons that I learned during this adventure. There is always a lesson to be learned.

I sacrificed so much to win, as I am sure many students did. A huge amount of time was spent attending every EPM meeting, watching EVERY lesson multiple times, the daily marketing, foregoing my daily workouts, time with friends & family...it hurts not to be rewarded financially for all of these sacrifices."

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Always Be Chatterboxing -- I cannot afford to not be talking about my business ALL of the time.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Watching Marisa model what effecting coaching is and what taking care of a community is like caused me to set a higher standard for myself. I have taken away several things that I want to emulate. (On the flip side, watching Marisa made me feel that I am not a good coach at all -- thankfully I have clients who believe that I am though LOL)

I was feeling very nervous about launching my mv product, participating in chatterboxing and sharing what I had created. My confidence was low. I wondered if anyone would be interested in what I had to offer/created. I joined EPM and became increasingly aware that I had to simply get started in some shape or form...clumsy, nervous and all and really heard Marissa often refer to beginning with "the paper air plane version" to iterate my way to awesome. And so I met with someone, whom I knew had a strong interest in singing and wanting to increase his confidence. I asked him many questions and eventually presented what I had created. He said yes! We start next week, and he continually tells me how excited he is. I am too (nervcited).

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Getting over my own procrastination...and accepting that I am starting in a basic way. And need to make a decision and move on! Because it's all going to change anyhow. :)

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
The structure of EPM has helped me define my first product. Though it will likely change! Seeing so many who have achieved their goals and making my first sale had increased my belief and confidence that this is doable.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Get started! Keep on going! And talk about what I am doing so I can gain clarity, which will in turn increase my confidence. That this is possible!

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
It's possible to do this, that I can do this. That I can and will further develop and gain strength through the process, and define my product and self even further.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I was overwhelmed many times. I wish I'd started sooner and kept up and started chatterboxing much sooner. I wish I'd accessed all that was available. One hour a day never seemed like enough time. (I work full-time). And so, I am glad to have continued access so I can go back to it all (and listen to the many things I didn't have the chance to listen to as of yet. Thank you.
