I was struggling to create a program that took my existing kitchen sink macro course into a manageable micro system while making it enjoyable for students. I wasn’t sure how to scale down the content while scaling up student engagement. I joined EPM 2021 and discovered a way to give students the dopamine rush that would see them through to the finish line. I applied the EPM training to narrow the focus of my course to what students find most frustrating on their path to success and, bonus, it is also the thing that will help them see immediate career results. Creating that positive class experience that then translates into life-changing results should open the door to more opportunities for me to help them excel. Honestly, the path has been bumpy. My first webinar had zero sign ups (which is rare for me but understandable all things considered). My second webinar had a tech glitch on the sign up page (totally my fault) and resulted in only 1 sign up. I was bummed and felt like I'd failed them. Then I did the supercharge modules and sent an email campaign to my mailing list - that got the phones ringing. Then I reached out to the ole kitchen sink students with an offer and added a 'bring a friend' option, inspired by the LYM Live offer, and that has taken me to much much more. I still have 4 webinars scheduled to reach my personal 'crazy more' goal of sold out. But even if it pauses here in 'much much more' town, I am so happy with what I have created because of EPM and can't wait to share my course with these students (so many many more than I expected) and help them achieve their goals.
What has been the biggest change in your business?
I have an existing live-only course that I was struggling to figure how to convert to hybrid training. This past week I had a breakthrough on how to do it. Not only will it give students the tools to rewatch in the future but also, by taking so much of what is currently covered during class time and shifting it to DIY, I can increase the number of students I work with and decrease the number times I offer a course. This will save me so much time and energy. This truly is my biggest game-changer for my business and my life.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
This will free me up to spend more time with family and other interests while serving even more students and helping them achieve their goals.
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Every problem has a resolution. Just keep at it.
What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
So much. It will take time for me to get to the jet plane. But I am very optimistic that I can supply something that no one else can in a way that no one else does.

Gratitude. I am so thankful for the support and encouragement from Marisa and my coach Lucas. Sometimes I took him for granted but I know I couldn't have gotten through this without him.
I created this amazing 12-week online experience masterclass to help aspiring home cooks to up their game in the kitchen. While there was a lot of positive feedback about the general idea of such class, the main concern was the time commitment. Those who are interested are not able/willing to commit to a 12-week masterclass with everything else they have going on in their lives and suggested to break down the modules of the class into individual classes that are not time bound. Lesson learned: Chatterboxing and asking people about their wants and needs is essential to create a product that people will actually buy. I wish we would have started that process sooner in EPM, but also understand that we first needed a product in hand before going out and marketing it to the world. I will now adjust my MVP approach, turn each module into an individual class without time restriction. I will also create a free into version for people to get to know me and learn about the WHY of Rock the Kitchen and what’s in it for them taking classes with me. The classes will be offered through Xperiencify. Once I have several classes created, I will offer them individual around the $49 mark and give a price discount for several classes. My goal is to have all classes available by the end of this year, gain some momentum with Rock The Kitchen, gather feedback and testimonials, then offer a Masterclass again with all modules, but no time restriction.
Your GRADUATION Story
I have been wanting to teach a course but was too scare to start, and when I started, I felt lost and gave up. Deflated, I resigned myself to doing 1:1 sessions for the rest of my life. Out of the blue, my friend sent me an invite to EPM, and instead of my usual click into "trash," I decided to take a peek. I got goosebumps, which is a sure sign there was something that was lining up with my dreams of teaching classes. I learned that when the path is clear (Modules, Sessions, Step-by-Step "how-to's," and great coaching) I can create a class! I graduated tonight! While in my brain is the sonic jet plane, but I'm thrilled to start soaring in my paper version.
What's been the biggest change in your business?
I'm excited again to keep doing 1:1 sessions because I know that teaching a course is coming up soon. As I'm creating the mind map for my course, I'm discovering how much I. actually know about healing.
How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
My desire to study, learn, and create has been REBORN!
What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
My biggest takeaway is seeing how support from Marisa, Matthew and Emily, and Coach Uwe buoys me to want to do my best. They want me to do my best, and so I do. I want to show up for my students this way and expect the best from them, too.

"I don't know how I found LIVE YOUR MESSAGE and the EXPERIENCE PRODUCT MASTERCLASS but there was something about it that had me sign-up immediately! In that split second, I saw it as an opportunity to start a completely new business.
I had a small idea but it was in a subject I had not worked in or studied for over 30 years.
(the idea: how a toddler's behavior can trigger unresolved issues from a parent's childhood.)
For those 30 years, I had a commercial real estate company in New York City. You would think I would have approached it differently. I didn't.
To my disadvantage, I approached the Milestones the same way, I jumped in and began. Not terrible, but not highly effective: didn't read the literature outlining the steps to a successful engagement. Didn't skim the modules to get an idea of requirements; didn't insert deadlines in my calendar.
Nor did I follow the good advice that I read 2 days ago. ""Be responsible and ask for help when you need it"". Don't fall into a hole. #Progress over Perfection. I did and in one instance it was as if I were writing a college dissertation. What do I say about my credibility in a subject I didn't engage in for 30 years! I had a lot of catching up to do - a lot of reading!
I think my biggest misstep was not getting actively engaged with the Facebook group and take the time to follow up with some of the terrific people I got to meet in the breakout rooms.
I felt like I was always behind and was planning to catch up during the holiday break. However, after Marisa's talks: ""You are not behind, you are where you are."" and ""You have
x number of weeks to complete. Finish"". With a habit of ""always"" bringing work with me when I travelled, I decided I would not do so over the holiday. I would go to visit the oldest two of 7 grandchildren for Christmas and New Years in Hot Springs, Arkansas and be there 100% ... except on January 1, 2023 from 3 to 6pm when I had to share them with Marisa.
So when I returned to New York on January 5, I texted Coach Kanu and said I am going to finish the 7 milestones. She didn't laugh or question me. What she did, from India, was respond immediately to each milestone I sent, make great suggestions and, when appropriate, give me the thumbs up. The last thumbs up came through on January 27th and my first sale come through on January 26th. I had read the Chatterbox Module and called Aaron, the fellow I had spoken to on the 23rd. With pivot script in hand, he said Yes!.
I have learned an enormous amount and am deeply grateful I took the course and that I will have access to this body of work forever! What a gift.
I am also deeply grateful I will have the opportunity to return and do my next program oh so differently!"
Your GRADUATION Story
I was wanting to find a way to provide a course to teach option traders how to manage and enrich their mindset during the trading day, so it increases their profits through consistent trading wins. I wasn't sure what to provide that would be unique in the industry. I joined EPM and realized I could gamefy my training and daily trade room support to have option traders get excited about learning new skills and integrating them into their daily trading routines. This is done while reducing their stress levels and increasing their profits to allow them to obtain their financial freedom goals in 90 days or less and add joy to their lives through the process.
A new avenue of growth and financial enrichment. EPM has invigorated my creative side that had gone silent for too long. I am more excited and energized and it shows in my trading accomplishments and all of my business and personal relationships. You are able to teach new skills and obtain new goals, while having fun and adding joy to one's life. EPM has allowed me to expand the scope of my business in ways I had not thought of before.
Marissa and the entire team, especially my Coach Shayla, have all been awesome in so many ways - from support, to knowledge and experience levels, and overall great hearts with insights far beyond what I could ever have envisioned, will be with me forever! Your GRADUATION Story
I was having a troubling time with narrowing down what my niche is for this time in my business and who my audience was within that niche. After REALLY doing the work within EPM I was able to be confident with choosing who I wanted to start serving. I wasn't sure what to do to help my audience. I wasn't sure how to speak to them and their pain points. I learned how to speak to their pain points. I joined the Experience Product Masterclass through Live Your Message and learned that it's okay just to start somewhere and gain experience and feedback as you go to really iterate your way to awesome and essentially find your way to where you want to be, who you want to be, and how you want to show up in your business and in the lives of your clients. Thanks to all the resources and the guidelines I was able to follow within a 12-week time commitment I was able to set a plan in motion for the now. To take off with something now. Instead of waiting for all the perfect answers and time because I was able to discover where it's worth starting and that's it's okay to pivot as you go. I'm able to actually begin and do the things and do them with confidence!
My outlook and confidence. EPM and the amount of groundwork that I did within the program has impacted my life by teaching me the breakdown of putting a business idea into motion. How to test its simplest form first and then expand after proving your idea so that you can begin to do something that you love and get the results that you're looking for without wasting a ton of time first with trying to get everything right. I love that approach. I'm going to be able to put so many ideas and dreams to test to see which ones will really fly and which ones need work and be able to do the work sooner to get the results I'm looking for sooner because I've been taught how to do just that. Keep going. Get out there and get as many noes as you can because you are going to get a lot of noes before you get yeses. Thats how it works so don't get discouraged. Keep pivoting and keep going. It's all a process. Progress over perfection. So much. The biggest being, making money.

I was struggling with being a coach who can stop worrying about where business comes from and focus on the joy of transformation. It had been 2 years since I started practising individual coaching and 5 yeas since my group coaching practice but the income was so low that I was tempted to go back to a regular job which would mean 12 hour days and no flexibility, even though the pay was great. Felt like selling my soul! Thank God for EPM and Marisa! I now have learned so much about positioning my product and myself right! And reaching my ideal client! And creating core experiences that motivate towards action and results! I just didn't think it was possible to pull off because I had failed so many times before. I has all but given up on anyone out there who could help me get results. I WAS WRONG! It was amazing that information about EPM came right into my email box just as I was creating my Rich Coaches Academy. I was going to just "wing it" and see where I landed. I had been wanting to tell my story for a few years on how much I learned about dementia and Alzheimers from the 10 years I spent caring for my own mother with dementia. I have a truly wonderful success story that is rare to hear and that I feel like I need to share with the world to offer others hope and inspiration. I started writing a book but got stuck so I put it on the shelf and returned my focus to my first love, or first career as a fashion designer and trend consultant, which I ended up closing to devote my time to my mom. I was missing it a lot and continued to do the work even after I had closed and had no paying clients! When I joined EPM I thought I was joining to kick start my fashion business but quickly pivoted, thinking this would be a perfect opportunity to work on my mom's story again as I knew that I needed the support and help that EPM was offering. But teaching a class or putting together a course was not really how I thought I would get her story across.....I had originally intended to start a non profit and gift spiritual retreats to dementia caregivers, as it was this that kept me going at the end of my mom's care when it started to get tough and my mom got in to her 90's. EPM helped me organize my thoughts around what people needed to know and do using the modules and sessions. I put together a step by step plan of all that I had learned first hand and decided to go with the 1:1 coaching idea. During my EPM 12 weeks course, I did more and more research on dementia caregiving courses and found that there were a lot of new ones on the market from just a couple of years ago. I found one course that I felt was great and whose message was very similar to mine. I was happy to know that someone else had very positive experiences with at home dementia care and also believed that the care giver has the power to change the course of the disease. I followed along with EPM quite well and made all or almost all of my milestones on time. Because of creating 2 successful businesses already, some of it came really easy for me. All except the marketing and selling. As a trend consultant I never had to do any marketing because word of mouth did all of that for me. I was sought after and it all seemed easy. As a fashion designer with my own clothing line, there was sales involved of course but the product really sold itself. The creativity was appreciated or it wasn't. So with this product, trying to sell a new mindset on dementia caregiving, felt like crawling up a mountain! I followed the advice of joining FB groups, but the first 4 dementia groups that I joined were so negative and depressing that they left me drowning in toxicity. I would stop for a few days and then try and come back to it. I responded and offered advice only to find someone taking what I said the wrong way and I stopped again. Ready to throw in the towel. But what I learned from this was my ideal customer was not in those groups, already drowning in their own situations because they made a lot of bad decisions or got bad advice in the beginning (my opinion). No, the time to find my ideal customer is in the very beginning when they first get their loved ones diagnosis and are in the learning stage and are open to receiving information that might not be the norm (yet). Their minds have not been set and still have plasticity. Plus they are committed to finding a way to keep their loved one at home for as long as possible. Some people know this intuitively but might lack the skills and knowledge that it takes. I know that I didn't in the very beginning because I was coming from a completely different industry. I just knew that if it had not been for my mother I might not have had such a wonderful life and career. I knew in my heart that I wanted to give back to her as she had given me. What I had absolutely no idea about, is what gifts I would receive by taking this path. This job of caregiving truly turned out to be a job about receiving and was the best job I ever had. (even if the worst paying) So I finished and graduated from EPM without a paying client, or two or three and did not make my investment back. But it's not always about the money but about what we learned in this experience and what we will do going forward. So much learned here....most of all for me....what an MVP is and what a great way to test an idea !
