Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
Facing a challenge I was feeling deeply called to step out in service. Knowing that I wanted to do something- I wanted to create something- but what? How do I do this? I had no direction, no focus and no action. I was dreaming-not doing until I joined Experience Product Masterclass. I instantly knew, I was blessed. I saw the flow and the framework, I couldn't take enough notes. I kept thinking this is how you create something wonderful. This is how to truly provide value. I can learn to do this. So with a quick start I soon found that there was a lot more in store for me. Learning something new is hard. I had to fight for it. Luckily, Marisa has thought of everything. Her hard work and genius shines in the interactions and throughout the whole experience. She was always right there with the next step. The level the coaches bring is exceptional. I see that they are all just living in their genius: they just show up and be their awesome selves. I found out this course was building me as much as I was building my course. When I hit a slow drag in the middle, finding my clarity, I had to “just do the next thing”. The next thing I needed to do was to get chatterboxing. Once I did the clarity came with every action, with each conversation I realized when I’ve got it all laid out, that brings- no stress. When I know what to say- I can talk to people. I realized I was holding myself back and it was the fantastic coaching throughout epm pulled me through. The added benefit of the “side-door” coaching really has allowed me to focus on the things that actually matter for the quickest impact. Thankfully, Coach Richele was right there with the next thing I needed to hear my whole journey. I accepted the challenge to sprint to the finish line. I was clear on my message, I was having conversations and everything came together- I launched- I provided value. I hit My Mission Accomplished. I really did it! I am overjoyed. My sprint to the finish line was a success! I got and incredible experience that now allows me to provide incredible experiences for others. Thank you epm! My life is forever changed, this is the way.

I was a peak performance coach before I had breakthrough COVID that hospitalized me and showed me my mortality. After discharge I was told my recovery would be slow and long. I did not accept this and took my education, training, and research to develop techniques that fast-tracked my recovery. I was having two problems: I started with a book and my course presented like a dry scientific journal. I wanted to help as many people with long-haul COVID recover as quickly as possible so they would not have to suffer like myself and many others, but what I had created was slow and boring. I joined the Experience Product Masterclass to spice up my course and make it a course that transforms lives. What I realized was so much more. Yes, I learned how to touch all forms of learning and make the course enjoyable and engaging while taking my clients on a healing transformation. What I did not expect is everything that applied to my course applied to my book. I went back and re-wrote and reorganized large portions of my book so that the chapters are now future courses. I also learned that my course could launch 6 months ahead of schedule as an MVP. This created excitement and I wanted to tell everyone (chatterboxing) on social media, at the coffee shop, with friends curious about me. During the 12-weeks of EPM I got 32 clients that signed up for my 6-week group coaching course next month (almost $16,000) and my improved book will launch the following month.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Future course modules, online courses, speaking events, certifications and so much more are not only possible, but the path is now clear.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I am busier than I ever expected to be because my business has fast-forwarded years in just months. This success has also accelerated the dreams of my clients and my family.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
EMP gave me what I wanted, but more importantly - it gave me what I needed.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I can now provide COVID recovery to more people in less time. This was always my outcome. Now it is real.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I wish that I had EPM sooner. I would have known not to start with a book, I could have focused on my MVP, and would have saved so much time.

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
I became a foster parent to help. I knew the children in the system needed homes and people to love them. What I was not prepared for was the disconnected and disjointed service the Systems and Agencies provided the children. Foster children by the nature of how they come to us are already traumatized. Unfortunately, the last 7 years have been a long and arduous love/hate battle with the Philadelphia DHS and the foster care agencies that form the network of systems that care for more than half a million children nationwide. Shortly after meeting all the licensing requirements, I received a call. Two sisters ages 8 and 13, required emergency temporary placement. As a newly minted resource parent and uninformed of the parameters of “emergency temporary placement,” I accepted. I’d requested children between 2 and 6 years old, but I felt obligated to help. My first experience with DHS lasted two weeks. I later learned the older girl was at risk of self-harm. Also at risk was my family’s safety; vital information undisclosed to me. So a couple of phone calls later, including one to the police, I had the children removed. Undiscouraged but curious, I wondered how the system could facilitate such a mismatch. Was my family knowingly put in harm’s way? I sensed something was wrong and my senses were on high alert. After that first brief encounter, the educator and community activist in me began researching the Department of Human Services system and the policies of the foster Care Agency. I suspected but was not prepared for the depth of disjointed policies and services I would encounter. Nor was I prepared for the impact the policies would have on the lives of the children and resource families. My next call was for a six-year-old, badly burned and recently released from the hospital. Experience caring for my mother convinced me I could care for the child. On October 15, 2015, a caseworker showed up with a small bundle wrapped in gauze from the neck to her waist. In her other hand was a small green bag with the child’s belongings. Again, very little information outside of her medical needs was shared. The caseworker shrugged off my questions and once again red flags went up. And I thought, “here we go again. I was correct. In addition to behavior and anger issues, I later learned someone had thrown boiling water on the child, resulting in third-degree burns which required surgery, skin grafts, and rehab. Then came the onslaught of doctor and rehab appointments, the demand for visits by her bio mom, therapy for past sexual abuse, and treatments for chronic asthma. It’s important to note that the caseworker originally categorized the child as “general” which meant the basic, standard daily rate for care. My complaints about the immense time and care requirements fell on deaf ears. The caseworker’s apathy was palpable. I felt completely invisible with little control over what was taking place in my own home. Something had to change!!! After months with no progress in the level of care for my foster daughter, I had had enough. I began documenting EVERYTHING: her care, appointments, behavior, transportation, times, etc. I gathered all the information and wrote everyone – from the caseworker’s supervisor to the state DHS Commissioners and even the local newspaper. I learned very quickly from my days as a community activist, that public agencies hate being put on blast. Now seemed the perfect time to utilize those activist strategies. I began calling the agency director. When responses were slow in coming, I was at their door. They hated to see me coming. It took a while but as a result of my actions, my foster daughter’s category was correctly changed to the next to the highest designation. (I believe they thought I was motivated by the additional monies but very surprised when my onslaught continued until I secured the additional care and therapies she needed. “Fostering Lives” was born out of a deep love of children and youth, their potential and their right to a successful, well-coordinated placement. Our mission is to focus on the work we do as foster and adoptive families and to help other foster/adoptive families/parents find their voice in their fostering/adopting process. For several years I have been searching for the right platform to launch Fostering Lives. Our Blog fosteringlivesesi.org, podcast, and online workshops will launch in February 2022, as a direct result of EPM Master Class that gave me the inspiration, knowledge, and confidence to launch an online workshop series. I have scheduled two Free workshops to introduce the Series and possible coaching services. I have no sales as of yet. But I continue to believe that is how I wish to Live My Message. I feel confident that continuing with EPM will guarantee the success of the product and change the dynamic of foster care by having an army of knowledgeable, informed Foster/Adoptive Parents advocating for their children

Rob Saunders (class of 2021)

After 5 years of up and down success... mostly down, and struggling to shift gears and increase engagement and sales, I happened upon EPM and realized this was speaking directly to me! It was clear from the first video and through countless "A-HA" moments with my coaches, I've been able to provide a coherent product and push through with pride and a lot of self-doubt, to confront the communication traps I kept falling into with my prospects... but also with myself. I learned I was my stumbling block... and now I have exhausted all excuses. I know it and I know God knows it too. With Coach Melanie's velvet mallet and relentless encouragement, I kept going. I'll never forget Melanie and I'm touched there are people like her willing to not only hold my hand, but, at times, grab my collar and drag. Never have I had such a humbling and emboldening experience... which is what I knew I needed. The relationships I've built and am still building are the diamonds I didn't realize were in this mine, but are giving me untold wealth. Can never thank you all enough!

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story -

I joined EPM after attending the 5 profit killing mistakes webinar hosted by Marisa. I learned a lot from this program, but I really benefited from the get it done Friday Sessions, where I was introduced to new technical skills and tricks, that are so simple but yet they would really save you a lot of time and enhance your final outcome. I also find the level of support and follow up from Marisa and her entire team to be at another level! This really helped me hit mission accomplished even though I was way behind due to my busy work schedule. But I still made it on time!

Ilaria Vilkelis (class of 2021)

I was looking for a new way to offer my 20 years of coaching experience and decided to focus on the future of work and the emerging trend of working from home. I ran a survey that suggested some people are happy with their current set-up, others would want one to one attention and a few would be interested in online classrooms. I joined EPM to give structure to my thinking and was able to complete the program and get to the point of confidently and enthusiastically speaking about the specific challenges of working from home. The result I got so far is that there is interest and a lot of encouragement and a few people are happy to help spread the word. I don't have yet enough critical mass to make sales on the internet. We decided to run a webinar and that one person who signed up is a client already, suggesting that only when people already know me and the value I add are keen on investing. I am not looking for new alliances with people who can provide me with visibility and pivot to create a B2B service as I believe that companies will be expected to support their WFH workforce.

Your GRADUATION Story -

I was feeling stuck in my coaching business. I'd been wanting to create an online course for some time but was never able to see it land. I joined EPM and there were so many things I learned, mainly about how to understand my ideal clients and that helped me tremendously in how I communicate with them and how I need to design my program. I did many iterations in my product design as a result of all the coaching received from the EPM team, and all this led to more clarity in how I position myself in front of my audience.

I have more confidence both in myself, and how my business can help improve my clients' lives.

Iterate my way to awesome. Progress over perfection. Clarity over clever. It doesn't have to be perfect my first go--the more I take action, the more clarity I get.

I can launch my first MVP and keep iterating to match my ideal market's needs.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I love the support that's always available for the members. I learned a lot through the side door coaching--many ideas get triggered in me just by listening to Marisa, all the other coaches, and everyone's shares and wins in each call.
