Helen Grace Gilfillan (class of 2021)

I was searching from one online marketing service to another with no success. I wasn't even sure what I wanted to do. I discovered the EPM program and it was so organized, so specific, easy to follow and so 'new' to me. I decided to get involved. I experienced challenges and setbacks, but thanks to professional coaches, it was easy to get back on track. I haven't received any sales as yet, but the prospects seem very hopeful. I really like the step by step instructions with the examples that follow.

I was really stuck and wasn't make ANY forward progression in over 18 months. This stuck was contributing to more and more negative self talk and reduced self-esteem and drive to do, well, anything. I joined EMP and, while I didn't fully launch, I made forward progress. I attended each pod call and absolutely loved the get it done Fridays and I discovered that my approach was way beyond my current capacity which was leading to a dead lock. The dead lock has now been destroyed and I have the step needed to continue to build. I have full faith that I'll have complete launch within the year.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Forward movement is happening again and I plan to reopen my doors after 18 months of shut down in the next few months.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
Chatterboxing! I discovered that this was something I do naturally anyway and it totally eliminated my own worry of coming across "salesy"; it's just about loving people.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Chatterboxing! I discovered that this was something I do naturally anyway and it totally eliminated my own worry of coming across "salesy"; it's just about loving people.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I trust the process SOOOO much more! Having a viable business that feels right to me and really lets me "live my message". Thank you. I've spent over 100K in programs that I've never finished and only felt guilty that I couldn't seem to do it their way. I now can see that the way I wanted to do it for so long matched EPM so well that I fully anticipate coming back for round 2 when it comes available.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Thank you to Marisa, Coach Blue, Emily and Matt - you all made this work. AND I'll do even better the next time!

Jennifer Hesse (class of 2021)

I'm a teacher turned tutor. I was forced to leave classroom teaching due to a diagnosis of terminal leukaemia so pivoting to private tutoring was a natural path for me to choose. I had very little business knowledge for this new venture but I had no choice. I had to acquire those skills - and I did. I scraped together the knowledge from many and varied sources - some good, some bad, but at the two year mark I had the successful business I needed. I've hummed along nicely for ten years and even helped two friends set up their own tutoring businesses. I really thought nothing of that, I didn't realise how valuable that hard-earned knowledge was for others, I was just glad I could help. Thankfully the effects of the pandemic were minimal on my own business as I was able to quickly switch to exclusively online lessons. I watched on in horror as our classroom teachers were thrown in and out of school and home teaching, many times as our beautiful city of Melbourne endured severe and prolonged lockdowns - but we all willingly made those sacrifices to save as many lives as possible - we were seeing the unacceptable situations unfold around the world. I read a news headline in March 2021 which stated that the Education Department of our State of Victoria was predicting that 22% of teachers would not be returning to the classroom in 2022. That figure, which so clearly illustrated the pain and anguish of our teachers, broke my heart. The realisation that our students were going to be the unwitting victims of the flow-on effect of this, broke my heart. We need these wonderful teachers to stay in teaching. The students need these wonderful teachers. I couldn't bare the thought of these amazing, skilled and experienced people finding jobs in other industries - never to return to education. Okay, let's get to work! I can find those teachers in my local community and teach them how to set up their own private tutoring business and I have the expertise to fast-track this process. How do I find them? Pre-pandemic I could easily have run a course at my local community centres. Okay, take it online! I had looked into producing online courses - just for my high school students using resources I had created - so I was following the course creation gurus and the marketing gurus but hadn't taken action. One guru stood out to me, Marisa Murgatroyd. Her values aligned with mine - an absolute desire to help people, not just chase money. Then 'that dopamine email' landed in my inbox. Having teachers actually complete my course, because it's an experience, not just 'how-to' information, but with a fully functioning tutor business as the end result, was my raison d'etre. I signed up for the Experience Product Masterclass. There need to be some new words invented to describe Marisa, her Coaches and Support Team - the usual positive superlative adjectives just don't cut it! Every single aspect of the course and the support was a million miles above what I had expected. There are no egos getting in the way here. We are all equal. We are a team. I learned the things I needed to make a successful course - tick! Huge as that is, it was just a little trifle compared to the extraordinary amount of knowledge imparted. Time to take this baby for a test-drive! I made my first sale on this test run. I will always remember the shock, delight and, yes, a bit of fear, that came with signing up my first client. This teacher not only wanted my course, she wanted it yesterday. Mission accomplished! This tiny, little success in my new business venture is just a glimpse of what I now know will be a huge future and positive change in circumstances for me and the people who matter most to me. I might only have 10 years left in this life but I'm sure as heck going to do my best to leave behind a great future for them!

I was having a huge challenge of getting clients to listen to the information I have developed to help them reach their goal of being able to speak English with confidence and fluency in English speaking environments. I wasn’t sure what was missing with my approach until I joined the EPM community. In the community I was able to get individualized coaching, sidebar coaching, hot seat coaching and so much more to help me better understand my product and how I could best market and meet the need of my potential clients. The most important thing I learned is that as long as I keep putting one foot in front of the other, success will have only one choice, and that is to appear. I have learned a lot about patience, resilience, and fortitude. Just around the corner is my ideal client. I want to thank Coach Emily (hummingbirds), Matthew and Marissa for all they have done to prepare me for the journey of a lifetime of successes. Dr. Priscilla Akpaita

Liz Jones (class of 2021)

I had been unfocused for a long time, afraid to get stuck doing something I hated again. That's a repeating pattern throughout my life. I simply want to do something I enjoy, that helps other people and adds value to their lives, without giving away my time for free. I joined EPM with the intention of creation an experience product right away, and even though that didn't happen and I ended up choosing a product that sells at a lower price point, given what I've been through In the past, I've made immense progress. Through Marisa's in-depth training, I know what to do to make a product successful, step-by-step, in a way that makes me think about my uniqueness as something of value, for once. Eventually I may work my way up to a higher price point, but for now, I know that my lower-priced product is going to be the best it can possibly be, thanks to what I learned in EPM.

Kim Orifici (class of 2021)

I wanted to transition from working 1:1 with clients to delivering a group program so I could serve more people, make more money and hopefully be able to eventually work from any location in the world. I joined EPM in order to learn about how to create an online course and market my program. I created an MVP product and decided to deliver the group coaching program through my existing private psychotherapy practice rather than deliver it online as I knew it would be easier for me to get customers through my practice. I marketed the course to my colleagues in a large group practice and immediately got 16 referrals. I called each referral personally to do a screening phone call and 13 of the 16 were appropriate for the program. The other 3 were not a good match for what I was offering. I have currently offered the first live group coaching program through Zoom with the 13 participants that signed up and I am about to offer the 2nd live session this coming week.

In May of 2021 I attended the Virtual coach expo and was deeply taken with this cute, relaxed, vibrant lady who expressed how proud she was that her courses had the highest completion rate in the industry. She said she made her courses super fun and her clients kept coming back for more. As the year progressed, I found myself moving down a spiral of procrastination and was no closer to completing my coaching certification (and I still haven’t -LOL), and the prospect of having a successful coaching business was steadily moving further away. In October 2021, I had this deep need break out of this procrastination and find out more about that cute, successful, course creator but as I didn’t save any info on her, it took many hours to track her down, but I finally did. I was blown away by the synchronicity as this gorgeous lady, named Marisa was about to start her annual EPM. I was so excited and signed up two weeks before the course started. Right out the gate I was having a ball and thought I’ve got this but as things moved forward, I realised that I was moving away from my dream, and I was more intent on ticking the course boxes and trying to get those elusive thumbs up from my coach. I started falling behind but I kept coming back for more. Something clicked over the Christmas break, and I reconnected to my dream and what I truly wanted to do, and within a few days, I signed up two coaching clients. I told everyone I came across about the course I was creating and within the first few days of Jan I made my first sale to one of my new coaching clients. My passion sold my course! Thank goodness no one asked me for more information as I had nothing to give them, I was only halfway through module 2 so I had no idea what I was really doing and only later did I realise that we were meant to launch once we reached the chatterbox session. A few days later I sold two more beta courses and converted a referral into a new client who wants to do my course after a few coaching sessions. And just last week another new client booked her first coaching session whose yet to hear about my course. It’s quite incredible how passion creates momentum and momentum creates passion. And this is just the beginning! This course really pushed my buttons as I bumped up against my limiting beliefs and had to work hard to break free and stride forward. I’ve realised that I have deep passion to support people to ignite and actualise their dreams, and from personal experience I know how tough actualisation can be. So with this in mind, in the near future I’m wanting to create a support course and coaching package for people doing online courses. I feel that this support is desperately needed to help them break through their upper limits and thrive for excellence. Marisa, your passion, vision, and dedication, ignited my passion and pushed me out of procrastination for which I’ll be forever grateful. I too want to thank my hugely supportive coach, coach Kat for her unwavering belief in me. I know that this is only my beginning and I’m super excited as I stride along my golden path of opportunity.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Belief in myself. Stepping out there and living my passion.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
Ahhh! I've snapped out of procrastination which has made a huge difference in all aspect of my life. I'm even getting my taxes done on time! Graduating from EPM has inspired me to finally finish my coaching certification and keep up with my leadership program this year. I'm a much happier person. I'm busy building my Xperiencify course which starts in the second week of February.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
I have what it takes to get things done. My course is wanted and needed and I'm going to get out there and make it available to as many people as possible after I've test my 8 week beta program which starts in the second week of February.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
What I've learnt from EPM has given me more confidence to go out there and strut my stuff while growing my coaching business, creating online courses that support my coaching clients and finally creating a presence on social media. I now know how to use survey's to learn what new potential clients want and turn that want into courses and support systems.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I'm thrilled to bits that I trusted my instincts, hunted for Marisa, signed up for EPM and dived all in :)

Anna Herremans (class of 2021)

The problem I was having was that I was procrastinating and probably internally resisting making my offer. I had no problem chatterbox and creating engagement around my program but something was holding me back from actually making the offer. This time around in EPM finally it clicked. I was so intent on creating a group coaching program but part of me was scared I would not be able to fill the group and having to offer group coaching session with 2 or even worse just one person. I finally took the advice to start with one to one and felt liberated. I can now make the offer and know that I can start straight away when someone buys and deliver incredible value. Once I have 10 or a few more clients or when the time feels right I can pivot to monthly cohorts.

1. I was having (this problem/challenge) This is my problem. How do I gain acceptance of a universal field theory (indications of it given in earlier drafts of “My Story”) when it is intended to displace many of the culturally produced systems foundational to the ways of living that are now threatening to sever, perhaps forever, the connection our species still has to the natural systems that enable Life in the first place? This my challenge. How to replace these culturally produced “darlings” that require belief to make them real with natural systems that function whether or not we believe them? 2. I wasn’t sure what to do (establish the pain/frustration). What can I do with the pain and frustration I experience when witnessing the divisive effects and the massive waste of human talent that follows that faith in beliefs that cannot be proved are having on the ways we relate with each other, when knowing that the universe and all energy/matter it comprises behave as a unified whole system? My answer to this question is to “Spiral on!” 3. I joined Experience Product Mastermind and the new thing I learned was a set of words that carried the source of my theory to the marketplace in my EVP. My discovery was the overall structure I will use to create a website that can accomodate the legacy of my work and efficiently deliver my services as an influencer, educator, promotor and coach. The experience of participating in EPM, where love through understanding melded, an alchemy sustained in every aspect of it, from Intake, to Support, to the Facebook page, to the reminder emails, to the brilliant presentations by Marisa and to the Pod coaching I received from Mike, the participants I met with there to share, and others with whom I Zoomed along the way, this and more place this Masterclass in a class of its own, and Marisa as THE leader in the Marketing World. Spiral on! Dr John I also discovered in the structuring of EPM a modeI

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Entry for 10, as I couldn't get back to it: “LIKE A BIRD ON A WIRE, LIKE A DRUNK IN SOME MIDNIGHT CHOIR, I’VE TRIED IN MY WAY TO BE FREE”. Yes, it’s a line from one of Leonard Cohen’s songs and it describes me and the way I’ve experienced life so far. I tried living by the rules and to conform to the majority voice. Yet, when I did, there was a constant feeling that I was performing a sort of balancing act, like that bird on a wire, constantly adjusting itself to keep balanced with every movement of the wind, while at the same time being frightened to let go and fly, not the least because my voice in the choir was heard as that of a drunk, sometimes in tune with the rest and frequently off key, so much so that sometimes I was asked to leave and other times I chose to as I tried in my way to be free. Now, as I enter what’s unkindly called “the Third Age” and closer than I want to be to the “Final Curtain” Sinatra sang about as he was moving his way toward it and has now passed through, I am overjoyed to tell you that no longer am I the frightened bird forever adjusting to the shifts in air by clinging to that wire to maintain my balance. I have let go of that wire, and the idea of balance that rests on the assumption of a static state, has now been replaced by movement as I take to the air, feeling it when winging my way on its spiralling currents. I still hear the choir singing set songs, correctly, in unison, harmonious too, some of the lyrics ringing true to my ear, yet not as true to my hearing as my drunken solos sound to me. The choirs are singing at midnight, the end of the day when Culture held sway. Mine are heralding my dawn to a New Day, the one when Nature is restored to guide our living, now that I’ve found where to look to find a way to discover my Truth. I’m offering this way to you. Should you accept it and make it part of your daily practice, you too will know where to look to discover your Truth. The Truth itself is as ancient as when the Oracle of Delphi spoke it millennia ago. “Know Thyself” was the instruction, itself coming from a call that came from his body, a feeling that became a thought and was expressed with words to his world, a call harking back to that time when the fusion of spiralling Energy and Matter formed spiralling DNA, with its unique “message” that is embodied in you. 11. The biggest change in my business is that it has started.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
It has provided a blueprint for my business design and exposed my need to establish a routine that harmonises work on business with 'real life' demands

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
To view marketing as an act of love and caring

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
To actually become an entrepreneur who can achieve financial freedom by activating my Life Purpose

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I've done this at the end of My Story

I was struggling with scaling and improving my life skills program for youth, I wasn’t sure the best way to move forward.
