Your Graduation Story
The big shift for me was coming back out of retirement after a brief 30 day stint with a late career transition retirement group coaching offering. It took me a while to realize that I needed to educate my target audience about the difference between their parents and grandparents retirement compared to pre-retirement, post-retirement and un-retirement (the working retired) of today. I found people intrigued and wanting more which had me also realize and acknowledge the importance, power and impact of marketing after 20+ years! Imagine. My poll results were awakening, powerful and insightful. I sent out my first thank you report on my Retirement & Pre-Retirement Poll today to 8 people. Stellar. I have scheduled 4 more touches (reports) on poll insights into a satisfying retirement in the next couple of weeks. Sunday, I received a person setting up a Game-Changing Retirement Engagement coaching session for the offering. I set up my first Experience call appointment today and it wowed the customer who is filling out the application tomorrow. First sale, yahoo ... and more to come. So I stacked three campaigns and marketing worked, Marissa. Thank you.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
My biggest takeaway from EPM is the experience and realization of the importance, power and impact of marketing while retaining my authenticity, and showing up better for my potential clients by giving them what they want.

How did EPM help you become successful?
EPM gave me the experience system necessary to be clear, customer-focused and prepared to give a customer what they want and accomplish a win/win for all involved.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
The EPM experience stretched my limits like no other in my life. I can't believe how much I learned in a short expanse of time and actually do marketing in spite of my triggered nervous system. I may not have accomplished my mission yet but I know I will. I feel my identity has changed down to my toes and I'll never be that other coaching practitioner who hated sales again.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
My clients and new clients during my experience marketing education got to see me learn, grow and evolve with a challenge of my own. There's an increased sense of partnership and intimacy between me and my clients. I sense credibility with potential clients. They respect my new way of being, the new offering and the new processes I've implemented. I guess the biggest change in my business so far is visibility.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
What I'm most excited about moving forward is Mission Accomplished with my Experience Product. I'm committed to it with conviction.

Your Mission Accomplished Story

For over 12 months I had talked about developing a 1:few coaching/mentoring group for new coaches who have just finished their first certification. I wanted to support them to build their confidence and skills within a safe community. Despite getting lots of encouragement, I put it off. I couldn't work out how to reach the specific target audience or make it compelling enough that I was confident to market it.

I remember exactly where I was when I saw Marisa's email about the Experience Product Masterclass (EPM). I was about to board a plane for work. For the next three days while travelling, I absorbed everything she sent me, sensing that what she had to offer was fundamentally different to anything else I had explored.

Her guarantee got me over the line - after all, what did I have to lose? But it was the group coaching and clever break down of actionable steps that really got me over the line to mission accomplished. EPM helped me implement in 12 weeks what I had only been able to dream about in 12 months.

I still feel a little giddy as I think about it! There's still a lot of iterating to do, but for the first time I feel like I have a roadmap for implementing great ideas that will be engaging for my clients and get the results they deserve.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
That anything can be overcome if you break it down enough and keep iterating your way to awesome - it doesn't have to be perfect the first time around.

How did EPM help you become successful?
It was the difference between a great idea in my head versus a great program delivering real impact.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
It has given me confidence to start planning my "forever" program, but it's also created an insatiable need to inject experiences into other aspects of work I deliver to clients!

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Being clear about what I have to offer on a regular basis versus seeking out work to sustain me from month to month.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
Being open to iterating it further by listening to what the participants are saying - mind reading and then delivering!

Is there anything else you would like to add?
This program is so clever (and you too Marisa!) - it works on so many different levels that I think it's impossible to appreciate the first time around. It has ruined me for any other program.....they just don't measure up!

Your Mission Accomplished Story

As a seasoned therapist (30 years) and then a certified coach, my practice was good but I could tell my own energy was flagging and there were some clients who just needed 'more.' When I saw the copy for EPM I was attracted by what felt like a whole new approach to sharing, guiding, facilitating and presenting information and information products. I wanted what Marissa had, the flare, the energy, the strategies to put experience and wins in client interactions!

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Life can be a series of wins. I had never thought about it that way. Putting experiences into any area of life increases the energy and focus which is such an amazing gift! I now know why I have dropped out or put on hold, so many courses which were not holding my attention with just a flood of information. I am really excited as to put this new flavour into all of my processes and future products.

How did EPM help you become successful?
EPM has brought new energy into my coaching practice. I did not realize that this was happening until I discussed this with Coach Don who pointed out that my coaching had become an experience product. I am creating an online course which I am so thrilled about to have the course to go through again to implement experience into my upcoming 'How to take the anxiety out of Taking Tests' online course. I have already implemented much of my EPM learnings as I take the step into the online world.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I feel really excited about the next phase of my journey as a coach and an online educator. I feel a surge in confidence as I use the tools Marissa has provided and enjoy the fact that I have new perspectives to offer my clients and customers.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
More energy and more structure in terms of putting milestones and wins into my coaching, also the tools to create online educational products.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
I am excited to have knowledge, tools and perspective that feel different both from what I had before, and that also sets me apart in the world of coaching and education products.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I got more than I even hoped for by taking this course. I have a new dimension to everything I do and I have a map for moving into online education. I so loved the coaching calls with Coach Don, his wisdom and guidance are so very, very valuable! I also appreciated the calls with Marissa and I plan to review the ones I missed. Thank you, thank you for revitalizing my coaching practice and opening the door to online educational products that engage instead of just inform! I would have finished the online course were it not for the fact that my 95 yr old mother has had health crises starting with a fall near the beginning of my taking this course. She was just admitted to hospital yesterday. A few months ago she lived on her own, walked 2 km. per day and now that is all gone. We have had to run to her assistance due to mini blackouts and numerous falls. This took up much of the time I would have used for course creation. Thanks to Coach Don I realized that I was still implementing and making huge changes to my coaching practice , as well as acquiring new clients, thanks to EPM. Unfortunately due to my mother's condition and having to deal with her apartment, all her belongings in the next few weeks, I won't make it to Message to Money Live. This is a huge disappointment but I hope to be there next year. I also love the community that is part of this course. I have met some awesome people and hopefully we can stay in touch. With deep appreciation I continue on my journey of helping others with new energy, new tools and new perspective!

Tim Sheppard (class of 2019)

Your Graduation Story
With my background in circus, improvisation, and storytelling, I've always tried to make my coaching and business practices playful, experiential, and highly engaged. I trained in Lean Startup, and later joined Ed Dale's mentorship in applying this experimental, iterative approach with a light, fun attitude.

So I was a perfect fit for Marisa's approach. I joined EPM at the moment that I was going to start doing customer interviews and testing my market, so I felt I was about a month away from really knowing my market and validating my course idea. I wanted the momentum and implementation of EPM, but ideally starting a month later!

However I plunged in because I was fairly sure I had a good course idea, and enjoyed the sense of progress. I was hoping I could run my customer interviews in parallel with doing EPM, to get full clarity and validation of my plans, but EPM was just too intense. I was surprised at the sheer length of all the trainings, and they took a lot of my time just to work through.

I was really pleased that a lot of the worksheets were much better paced than other business development training I've tried to follow. The practical and psychological stages were well thought out and didn't leave me stuck or bogged down. And the group coaching gave me some much-needed confirmation of where I was on the right track.

In the end I hit a patch of poor health for the whole of January, which was highly frustrating as I saw my deadlines slipping away. I had high hopes before that, that I would be swept along on the group momentum to actually launch on-time - something that I've never come close to. But I had already got close enough to launching my marketing campaign that it all felt real and imminent, and most of my key preparations and decisions were all organised and ready to use. So I was able to keep my motivation going, and resume once my energy returned.

I now have a clear plan and all the pieces I need, and feel I can reach out to the world and conduct an enormously fun experiment that will attract all the right people. I'm confident that out of that will burst a blossoming business - even if I have to adjust and experiment a little more in the coming months.

So, thank you Marisa for being a light-hearted, confidence-giving, motivating mentor! You've lit my way and pulled me along delightfully. Put the kettle on - I'll be there shortly.

PS. Unfortunately that won't be at Message to Money - no money yet to travel to the USA. I'm sure it will be fun, but I probably need to stay focused on the immediate results rather than doing more planning yet!

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
I've always taught in a highly experiential and playful way, and used the power of storytelling. But EPM has shown me how to integrate my key methods into a coherent and proven approach that uses them across every aspect of marketing, communication, and delivery.

How did EPM help you become successful?
It was a whole business incubator with a group momentum, so I could feel urgency over a long enough period to get things done, with it still feeling fun and doable.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I've broken through a tendency to plan, reflect on, and balloon my ideas into endless planning stages, and I've managed to commit to key decisions about the Milestones etc. EPM has got me far closer to launching than I have in years of wanting to. I'm now confident that I will do a pilot launch in the next month or so, and that I'll be able to iterate to a profitable and fulfilling business very soon.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
I haven't launched yet, so the changes are all in hitting practical stages of thorough preparedness and getting close enough to launching that I'm still motivated to push ahead to a deadline.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
Finally getting a lucrative and satisfying business that will use my talents to the full and spread my impact, while living out my values of playfully doing business human-to-human.

Your Mission Accomplished Story

I hit Mission Accomplished with a teeny snippet of what I learned in the course, but have yet to fully launch my actual experience product, hence the LAME NAME.

I had been running courses for about 6 months and was really bothered by the drop off in engagement. Hard core learners stayed on but everyone else vanished into thin air. It made me question whether I even ought to be teaching others.

I knew EPM was exactly the game changer I needed when I watched the videos during the launch, and was subsequently FLOORED by all the things I didn't know that I didn't know!

I have run a quick and easy crash course 3x with a minimum of the info from EPM, and am so excited to run my actual BIG EPM product in just a few weeks time.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
That keeping the students engaged is the most importnat thing.

How did EPM help you become successful?
I have so much confidence about creating and delivering a course now!

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
So far not much of an impact a I've only launched a small course but I'm confident in the potential.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Getting people aware of what I do

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
Getting the chance to help people bring their kids books into the world

Is there anything else you would like to add?
This was hands down the best course I've taken, and I've taken a LOT. Worth every penny.

Your Graduation Story
We had a powerful message of health and wellness and we wanted to develop an online course to bring it to the people all over the world. We enrolled in other programs to help us build the online course but we were not able to make any progress. We are very fortunate that we came across Marissa's video and her message really stuck with us. We noticed that she has helped thousands of entrepreneurs to build experiential programs.

We enrolled in the EPM and the journey has been phenomenal. We are quite amazed with what we have been able to accomplish so far, from developing the mission, the modules of the course and the customer journey from mission impossible to making it mission possible. Marissa and the coaches made the whole program fun and engaging. Our coach, Debra was absolutely outstanding. We were able to progress towards mission accomplished because of the wonderful resources you had in place to normalize our challenges. Being part of EPM Elite, having access to coach Debra, copywriting sessions and 2 days personal time with Marisa helped us take our work from ground zero to almost selling the product. We have not met target goal but we are quite confident that we will be able to do that once we launch the course. We are also excited about joining Next Level Mentorship Program to continue to work on our projects and take our message to millions. We feel blessed for the opportunity to be part of EPM tribe. Thank you Marissa for everything you do. Many thanks to Coach Debra and the entire EPM team.

Your Mission Accomplished Story

I've always had trouble articulating exactly what I do as a coach. Fell into the "I can help everyone" category which ends up speaking to no one. I have taken other business courses before that focused on way too many steps ahead like complicated webinar funnels and FB ads and I realized you can't typically take that big of a leap without concrete initial steps. Through EPM, it helped me focus on one specific problem I can solve for someone with one program at a time instead of trying to help solve multiple problems within one program. It just always got too big to fast and was overwhelming. By having more confidence in speaking about what I do, I was able to easily get a client through chatterbox for my program. It also reinvigorated my love for writing and I did the perfect email campaign to my list after not having sent any newsletters in over 18months. I had good open rates, several signed up for my fast freebie although none continued on to the application for the program. All my previous clients had always come through chatterboxing as well, so I guess that is the area to hone for me for continued success.
