After 4 years of a membership site that had too much on the menu, I wasn’t sure what to do, Nobody was getting involved in it...I can only guess that it was overwhelming. I joined EPM and it really helped shine light on major product. I finally owned my authenticity and my one main product that my clients loved and benefited from the most. Because of that, I decided to lean into it and make it my signature product.
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
What it really means to create an experience product. My best-selling product up to this point did six figures, but did not really create a transformative experience for people. It's just content—good content, but not as transformative as it could have been.
How did EPM help you become successful?
EPM equipped me with specific strategies and examples every step of the way. Experiencing an experience product was incredibly powerful.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
It's given me the confidence to persist, even when initial results weren't as encouraging as they could have been.
What has been the biggest change in your business?
Before, I didn't have a top-dollar front-end program; people had to have already made a great deal of progress in their careers before they were ready for my high-end program. Now I have a high-end program I can sell to new leads right away.
What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
Reaching more people!
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
I'm not sure. I'm a little bummed I wasn't able to hit MA during the program but maybe I just didn't have the time available to make it happen. It was a good program and I learned a lot but I'm not sure how realistic the mission is.
How did EPM help you become successful?
It motivated me to keep taking action. I'm definitely feeling more confident in growing my business.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
It's continued me on my path of wanting to make more of an impact on my world and making more money for my family. It's helped me learn to prioritize work that isn't my "normal work" and to see that vision a little more clearly.
What has been the biggest change in your business?
Before EPM I didn't have a clear idea of a next-step to growing my business but now I can see that one product can be a next step.
What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
I just want to get it out there and help people feel the excitement and confidence I felt from getting a grasp on my personal finances.
Your Mission Accomplished Story
My story isn't very sexy. It's actually a story of how things can morph from an idea of a quick online course to educate entrepreneurs, to a full 1-1 personal coaching going very deep compared to the original plan. So, because of my lack of technological know how of getting the marketing done online, my story looks a little different than I envisioned. I sold my course locally by chatterboxing in my networking groups (in person, and in FB groups). I ended up selling 4 courses at $297 (instead of the original $447). However, I also have a local business that got way over their heads when a advisory company talked them into doing a complex tax structure to protect assets and lower their tax liability. However they didn't know much about the company, and it was a terrible deal for them. And, the advisory company didn't tell them all the tax advantages (and simplicity) of being unincorporated they would lose. After talking with them, I've agreed to coach them through the changes that this incorporated multi-layer tax structure makes to their business. My ideal client for my online program is either someone starting out that has no understanding of the different structures or an entrepreneur of this type BEFORE someone talks them into something they don't understand and gets them into more trouble and they can't take the deductions they thought they could, and in order to take others, they have to set up special programs through their corporate minutes in order to take the deductions. Honestly, this is probably better than jumping into the online coaching because, they are facing stuff that I didn't even think about before that I can add to my training. In fact, there is almost enough now from this 1-1 coaching, that I could have an online course just for Choosing the Correct Taxable Entity, and split it off from the other modules as stand-alone course.
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
That breaking down the process into much smaller pieces makes it easier to accomplish. I've been wanting to do this for years, and it always seemed overwhelming. I did courses on how to create courses, but really all they did was sell the idea of making money from the courses. They never really taught it step by step to where I ever accomplished anything with it.
How did EPM help you become successful?
Has helped me be less perfectionistic (is that a word). I have a huge problem with perfectionism. I start a lot of things and never finish them. And even though I didn't finish everything I set out to accomplish, and it looks a little different that I orginally envisioned, it was a step forward doing something outside my comfort zone.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
EPM has taken me over the hump of waiting for the perfect situation to get started.
What has been the biggest change in your business?
It's a little early to tell, but I think it will change from being a bookkeeper and tax preparer to being more of a consultant/coach to people with more complicated tax issues, or to people just starting out so they don't make the big mistakes that some of my current clients have made. I will be able to help people before they get into tax trouble as opposed to fixing the problem after the fact.
What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
I'm excited to get my course online to be able to market. As opposed to locally by chatterboxing. I wish the Heroic and Experencify would have been available over the Christmas break when I had a lot of time. So once I get a handle on them thru the Feb trainings, I plan to really break out online and grow grow grow.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I would love to do the Elite program later, maybe Summer. Depending on how this all works out money wise over the next few months, or if I'm able to sell my house so that I would have the $8000.
I have been wanting to expand my local business online for many years but the jump seemed soooo big! EPM allowed me to realise that this was in part due to not having a super clear game plan and knowing how to write clear and compelling copy that is grounded and 'perceivable' with all your senses.
Over and over again my message would fall flat when i tried to expand to online clients... Just this is such a huge takeaway for me! I now know how to talk about my services in a way that is clear and compelling, using the future self vision as a honing tool to hook them on the possibility of who they can become once they get over the hurdle they face.
With deep soul healing this is not always easy to put into 'grounded' words! I finally started reaching out and one of the funny things I realised is that fear of strangers only lasts as long as you don't talk to them! Lol I ended up upselling 3 out of 6 women I spoke to into 1:1 work at 997$ each. I haven't even launched the program and I'm already working with them individually!
All I can say is 'stop being afraid of strangers - they're all potential friends once you open the communication channel! I had so much fear of being judged or misunderstood and it was all internal... 3 out of 6.... that's a 50% conversion rate!!! WOOHOO!!!
Thank you EPM!
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
So much... feel like Ive barely scratched the surface of it all... years worth of videos to rewatch!!!
How did EPM help you become successful?
Get way more clear on what I do and how to word it! Wording is everything!!!
What has been the biggest change in your business?
Before I was only comfortable working with local clients via broadcast marketing. Now I've faced the fear of getting on calls with strangers, who turned out to not be strangers for a long time! :) One conversation lasted an entire hour and she ended up deciding she wanted a package of private sessions for double the price and we've already done 2 out of 5 of them! My local clients pay me 120$ CA for a 2 hour sessions. My price is now 200$ US when 5 sessions are bought at once... That’s very nice, especially with the currency exchange :)
What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
Iterating my way to awesomeness... this is going to be a flagship intro course that will be sold for years to come!
Is your mission to provide your customers with an experience they’ll always look back on as the big turning point in their lives, their peak experience, their epiphany, their big “aha”? You can best deliver this for your customers if you’ve had that experience yourself.
If you’ve been focused only on providing knowledge and information in your courses instead of delivering dynamic experiences and wins ... and have consequently found your customers losing their initially wild enthusiasm for your program... and maybe even disappearing off your roster...you will appreciate why Marisa’s mission is to help her tribe of entrepreneurs by SHOWING them how to actually deliver the WOW.
I was one of those entrepreneurs who had grown lukewarm in my enthusiasm for developing my business – coaching kids to read at their grade level in 10 weeks or less - over the two years that I struggled with knowledge and information overload. I knew I had a good program to offer and my business ideas got off to a great start in my first year of my training while with Neurogym...learning brain science stuff about how I could change my old beliefs and habits to transform my life...
The mindset training was valuable...but I felt a huge sense of disappointment at the end of most other courses and webinars that took me all over the map and did not help me to move forward with the right actions in the right order. I paid lip service to being excited about my business but in October of 2018, I had to admit to myself that I'd been feeling uninspired and confused for some time. Being in debt...spending on courses without getting the results I needed. I had to go on...but I didn’t get up in the morning feeling supercharged about my day. I began to look for ideas on how to be creative while totally stressed out...
That is...until I learned about Marisa’s upcoming ten week Experiential Product Masterclass. The word “experiential” resonated with me, weary as I was of being super- saturated with “how to” solutions that hadn’t worked for me. And then I “got it”. Before I could inspire my students and deliver the results I was promising, I had to once again be inspired myself. I hesitated...I didn’t want to go further into debt chasing after yet another solution... but then I discovered that Marisa was offering a No-Risk guarantee of money back to anyone who did not earn back the cost of their course by the end of the 10 weeks. I was in. It made her accountable to get results for all of her tribe.
Instead of endless information overload we received three weekly 1½ hour first class coaching sessions...as well as valuable gifts and bonuses: technical and marketing training videos to die for...and the opportunity of a personal website generously provided free for a year by Murray Gray, Marisa’s husband....with training and support to go along with it that allowed us to build our own website, saving us thousands of dollars.
There was information, of course, but it was well organized and easily accessible in clearly presented trainings, videos, video scripts, and worksheets.
And all of these resources are made available to Marisa’s tribe for life. Thank you for the lifetime support. Many of us who call ourselves “entrepreneurs” have for too long been tossed about in a sea of confusing ideas... distracted over and over by yet another claim providing information claiming “this is what you’re doing wrong”. It keeps us stuck in self-doubt and in the grip of FOMO to hear about what another “guru” has done to get 5000 more customers...after they have already made millions.
I appreciated that all of our EPM tribe moved forward together through the same steps to build our magnificent programs...until near the end when we diverged in choosing the marketing strategies that were best for our particular type of businesses. I found that the Milestones record that we kept up with the help of our coaches, kept me organized and on track.
On the eve of my last day in this program (with strong emotions welling up) I want to say that Marisa and her team delivered the WOW that was promised from the beginning. Thank you, thank you, thank you...I loved every minute of your experiential program...every training, video, coaching session, and KA-CHING! You did not disappoint!
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
To provide my customers with an experience they’ll always look back on as a big turning point in their lives, their peak experience, their epiphany, their big “aha”? I can best deliver this for my customers once I've had that peak experience myself. In EPM I've had that peak experience - have regained my passion about my business - and have learned how to create a peak experience for my clients through Marisa's model.
How did EPM help you become successful?
I have built a program that I love and that will deliver the results that my customers want...and it will provide the blueprint for my future programs.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I know now I don't have to be perfect. I can create great results and massive value for my customers without having a perfect program or marketing campaign or delivery. To be human is to err and it's all just feedback to get me on course.
What has been the biggest change in your business? I love that I'll now be marketing my reading coaching for kids in 10 week packages instead of delivering ongoing tutoring that has no time-based end result. I will give lots of rewards to keep them excited in the program. I'll be offering the next package - where they can go from here - near the time that the program that they're on ends. They can keep on going with specific goals for each program that create long-term success. In summary...before my offer was a bit vague but now there is a time-based result for my clients. They will know exactly what to expect from each of my programs in the future.
What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product? I'm most excited about the fact that I'm hundreds of times more inspired about my business than I was before EPM. Can't wait to get the results of kids reading at their grade level in just 10 weeks.
Your Mission Accomplished Story
I had an idea for a coaching program and what to include in it, but I wasn't sure on how to structure it, what price point to pick and what marketing messaging to use. I joined Experience Product Masterclass and learned how to put an initial version of my program together in a very step by step fashion, with great help from my coach. I sold a one-on-one client through reaching out and talking to people about my plans and decided to test it all out on this client and wait with a more complete launch til after EPM was completed and I had done a full run through with the one-on-one client.
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Orchestrating constant wins and a momentum forward, and having a clear mission accomplished
How did EPM help you become successful?
Broke down a lot of moving parts and things to think about into bite-size chunks that I could work through step by step. Without this chunking down the project of creating and launching my product felt overwhelming and too big of a task.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
Opened up an alternate career path
What has been the biggest change in your business?
different strategy and planning for the future
What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
Delivering the product, getting feedback, learning from that and reiterating a 2nd version and a 2nd launch.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Coaching sessions were great and a big help in moving the project forward
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
The honesty, clarity that Marissa and LYM stand for. Understanding where I am in my business building. Understanding what makes a course stand out.
How did EPM help you become successful?
I was chasing points :-) I always compete with myself. Not give up. It is easy to plan but then when it is time to do the work it is easy to get busy doing other thining. i did not ask many questions but all the calls I listened to gave me a lot. I did not sell any of The Confident Business Wogs. All the support that was in the program was amazman programs. But the intent för that program was to warm up people that were new to me to upsell them to my yer long program. And thank to the chatterbox and the emails I talked to people and could sell them directly into the yearlong program. I actually turned down two people to my shorter program and one of them might attend the yearlong one.
What has been the biggest change in your business?
I feel more self assured in my delivery of what I am already doing. I know I can make it so much better.
What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
Add more experience to my yearlong program
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Happy I joined and would love to be an affiliate next time she delivers this program.
I'm already an old lady and I've spent the past few years caring for my elderly frail parents. They passed away and it was time to get back to my own life. I'd always wanted to start a business and this was my first opportunity to try something. But what to do? I have personal experience of ageing, and I was a social worker specialising in work with older people and a carer for my parents and I could see how the world is changing. We are living longer and healthier lives. Computers have arrived and the Web has made the world more accessible. Retirement is not what it used to be . It has changed, moved on, like everything else. So maybe there's a business in this?
I stumbled along trying to educate myself about creating a business. Then I discovered EPM and was swept up in a whirlwind of knowledge and worksheets and webinars and peer groups. It was very challenging and I admit I'm not as quick as I was in my 30s and 40s and had only a vague notion of my business idea but I stuck at it, enthused by Marisa and our coach and determined to make a serious effort to launch a business and learn from the attempt and then maybe launch another one. So I've made a good start and created my prototype and am preparing for a Stage 2 launch in the near future. I could not have done this without EPM and my lovely co-students and the patience and empathy of the EPM team.
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
The material has been comprehensive and expertly delivered so not only did we get well-researched and practical information but we also had the benefit of an excellent role model in message delivery. Huge confidence boost. Left me in no doubt that implementing the methods taught gave an excellent basis for starting and launching my own business.
How did EPM help you become successful?
Key elements of the course are the empathy and confidence-building of Marisa, the team coaches, admin people and the support staff involved plus the encouragement of peer groups and the real sense of being part of a tribe of entrepreneurs. Marisa's 'Laser' sessions were incredible, so incisive and so relevant to the questions I had about my own business efforts.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I am in the later stage of life and spent some years caring for my elderly parents, both of whom were frail and in poor health and they died within a few months of each other. Starting a business has always been an ambition of mine but my life has had to be on 'hold' until now. EPM has been a challenging and rewarding time which has given me the confidence to create my business schedule and hugely enjoy developing my dream - I hope the first of many. Although I see the benefits of ageing, it's also true to say that I 'm not as quick as I was in my 30s and 40s and I've been inspired by the younger entrepreneurs with their energy and determination and the patience and understanding of the team delivering the course. Being part of the EPM tribe truly feels like being part of something that will contribute to making the world a better place.
What has been the biggest change in your business?
Before: I wanted to start a business and tried to figure out the best ways of setting about it. After: I've been exposed to sophisticated marketing techniques [which would have taken me years to discover, plodding along on my own] and essential principles of business organisation. All this, in an atmosphere of camaraderie, encouragement, energy and optimism. The biggest change in my business? From tenuous idea to actual entity with a pathway ahead and exciting prospects.
What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
This first online venture is teaching me a lot and opens up new inspiration in many directions. I doubt I could have done this without EPM.
Your Mission Accomplished Story
I am an artist. My heart is in the creation of abstract paintings and I love creating environments in which people can discover their own inspiration and find balance. However for the last six years and especially this last year I found my self nowhere near my atelier/studio or happiness inside myself. In fact I had lost the connection with my own inspiration and happiness. Most of my energy went into caregiving to my partner who has been ill all these years. I experienced extreme low levels of energy and frustration of being stuck. Not knowing what to do, not having the energy to turn things around on my own.
Via searching the internet for inspirational speakers, I came upon "Liveyourmessageacademy.com" by Marisa Murgatroyd. Watching Marisa deliver her message, seeing her sincerity, playfulness, humor, wise, caring (and totally without judgments) responses, ignited a spark within me. The fact of the promise and guarantee that if you did the work in the course - you would earn back the price of the program yourself - or receive the money back: made me act within minutes. What did I have to lose? I started the course, chose to focus on giving workshops: "Teaching Abstract Painting - to help transform thoughts". Still the initial situation of low energy and frustration would kick in from time to time. I switched back my focus to selling paintings on a one to one basis. One week before the end of the 8 week program we received devastating news about the life expectancy of my partner. I lost my focus on the course completely. Even cancelled the rent of my atelier/studio.The only thing I could do was listening and watching messages of Marisa on facebook to hold the life line with the course. There she was, in an un-announced
"encouragement - speech: " ....if you do nothing else but take one step forwards, just do it. You do not need a website.....just talk to people today. Do it, do it now, do not stop now." A speech as if made for me alone. That night I not only wrote an e-mail to be able to keep my cancelled studio/atelier I also developed a workshop program. Made some phone calls the next day and received two commitments to the workshop to be launched in Februari.
Between Januari 31st and Februari 3rd I talked to people about my paintings and sold two paintings and received a future order for another painting. And I reached my minimal goal of $2000. No huge amounts of dollars but major shifts within to keep connected with my future self even in the event of tragedy. This course has changed my life and my outlook into the future. I am incredibly thankful! And feel blessed to have been able to be part of this amazing circle of people. Thanks Marisa, thank you coach Jennifer, Don and the staff behind the scenes.
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
That is to be true to the commitment I have made to myself no matter what.

EPM helped me become successful by the sheer joyful presentation of the program. And to show me by modelling and presenting modules to follow and so to discover my talents and to take action.

It made me feel fulfilled, wiser in caring for my self first. It gave me confidence that I can do what I want to do.
What has been the biggest change in your business?

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
Is to see the product develop and grow into a larger business which gives me freedom and joy. To bring me other avenues like public speaking, creating environments of re-charge possibility through Art.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
This was the most enjoyable learning, sharing, listening and doing course I have ever done. What a pleasure it has been to receive this time and knowledge via Marisa, Jenifer, Don and the staff! Absolutely grateful I am! Thank you so much for creating this experience!
