I have been trying to get off the ground with my side hustle business Health Origins by spreading the Plant Based message to the world but did not really have much of a strategy trying different things from considering making sweet potato crisps fried in coconut oil, to fridge/freezer filling business, to cooking classes and just churning my recipe video content on YouTube without any long term plan.
I did not really know which direction this side hustle will take me or how to make it my full time job. I kew that I wanted to do something online so that I had the freedom to live where I wanted.
When I heard of EMP and the promise it made of earning at least $2000 in the next 10 weeks or my money back, I was super intrigued even though the finances were stretched already and my husband was really against it as he was saying that we need to concentrate on giving back the debts first instead of spending any more.
But since Marisa believed in her product so much, we decided to take the plunge and put it on my credit card. And athough I did not earn all of the $2000 back with my program - the lessons learnt from the course will stay with me for life.
From discovering new tools like Active Campaign, Calendly, Canva to improve the efficiency of my business and building my client list, to starting the creation of my Heroic website and getting my first paying client, I feel I have grown so much both physically - by actually getting my first group coaching program out there - and emotionally, learning so much about myself, my determination, passion and tireless action taking!
I have a clearer vision and my dream of having a health retreat in Spanish mountains is so much closer now, than when I started this program.
In fact, I am collaborating with a couple of ladies to rent a Spanish villa in the mountains for a Healthy Eating/Kundalini Yoga and Zen retreat next year! So excited!
I believe that by taking consistent steps forward now I will be able to live my passion and reach my ultimate goal of spreading the Plant Based message far and wide and impacting thousands and even millions of lives for the better!
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
I have learnt and implemented so much from my experience product creation - the systems to use, like Active Campaign, Calendly, Canva, started creating my Heroic site.
And of course the 10 main principles how to engage with the clients and not to let them go down the death spiral from the word go, as well some sales techniques, defining my niche, psychology behind launches and so much more. It definitely was a fun and at times overwhelming ride!
How did EPM help you become successful?
I got my first paying client and got the word out about my Weight Loss Unlocked program. I have seen that with a lot of determination and hard work everything is possible.Once I complete my Heroic website, I will have a great springboard to continue working on my passion and getting my message out there! And for now I need to make sure I create the best user experience with my 6 weeks program as I am creating the Modules as I go.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I have exercised my discipline muscle even more, sticking to deadlines, completing assignments and stepping over my fear of marketing, finding different ways to get my message out there.
What has been the biggest change in your business?
A first paying client for my program and implemented systems and tools to transform my idea into reality.
What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
I am looking forward to successfully deliver my program, get great reviews and finish the creation of my Heroic website as not having a clean and professional website was hanging over my shoulders as a big burden for the last 2-3 years. And I believe I can finally cross off from my to do list with Heroic.
