Your Graduation Story
I came to EPM with ideas and no official service nailed down to offer to clients. I was trying to play the game of offer everything possible to the generic masses, even though I knew finding the niche was the way to go. Not only did I find my niche clients I would enjoy working with the most, but also my niche service offerings. While this focus doesn't diversify like many competitors in the accounting industry now, I believe the industry could use professionals with a more narrow focus and really be the go-to person for referrals and client satisfaction. I've got the blueprint and I'm on my way to be that person.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
EPM is like Pringles, I can't take away and pick just one thing. EPM has helped me with doing the actual ground work relating to my business on paper, recalibrating my mindset, and the supportive friends made along the way were just amazing.

How did EPM help you become successful?
I've learned about all the technology involved in online marketing. I've also learned about how to more clearly articulate the benefits and mission of my product to speak with potential clients about. I'm more confident now in the product positioning and able to build out a better long term strategy.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I was always fighting my way upstream, believing things had to be difficult or else there is no way a business I wanted would make it. I've worked on the mindset gremlins and relinquished them as the garbage I took out and let go of. I'm not afraid to keep trying in my business, even if I make a few mistakes along the way.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
The biggest change in my biggest is the clarity and focus I have to start with one thing and then build a business around it. I also figured out, it's more beneficial for myself and clients to go through more of a mini course of 3 weeks during 1Q because of tax season than it would be to work on a course for 8 weeks. As I work to iterate my way to awesome in the first few cycles, I believe this focus will position me as the differentiated professional in my area. I've got this!

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
I'm entering a new year with skills and ability to help many more people. Leveraging my time to capitalize on the optimization of both quality of experiences for my clients and the revenue generation is fantastic.
