Your GRADUATION Story
I had a lot of experience coaching keyboard players, but had a very challenging time putting it into a format that I could easily sell. I had built many courses that no one had purchased, and was feeling frustrated and also at the point where I really needed/need one of my business ideas to prove profitable. I joined EPM and learned to keep things SIMPLE and sell to REAL LIFE PEOPLE. I built a course that had a clear BEW, and a clear destination folks would arrive at. Instead of spending a lot of time with sales pages and email chains (done wrong, another form of procrastination - obviously they have their place) I called all my past clients and shared why I thought this layout would actual help them make new leaps and bounds in their craft. I sold 4 total courses, and had 3 people say no due to scheduling. Excited to run it again and again and again.

Your FIRST SALE Story
I called someone who works for me as a piano teacher. I was concearned about sharing this idea with them because I was going to ask for more cash then I pay them in a month. I used the chatterboxing script from the course, and way before I reached the end of the script he just said - this is something that I really need, and I am willing to invest. When do we start? That was awesome and so encouraging and unexpected.

Your PROVED MY IDEA Story
Selling using common internet marketing techniques has proved to be not super effective for me. I have an audience, but not large enough to convert at a rate that does much for the wallet. Using the chatter box technique I was able to turn about 50 emails into about 10 conversations. I sold 4 courses, and have a few people on the waiting list for the next round!

Your MADE A WHOLE LOT MORE Story
I sold 4 courses, which I didn't think counted as a whole lot more, but coach Uwe said it does. Same process, chatterboxing!

I understand that SALES and EDUCATION are not the same. So now I listen to people, and then come up with a way to solve their issues, and I charge them for it. I am even building products for my piano students as a way to build more income and give them something fun and rewarding that makes music more enjoyable I think EPM has just simplified the sales process in a way that I believe things can actually change quickly. I have a bit more hope that I haven't wasted years of my life teaching content on the internet. For sure, biggest take away is prove an idea with a sale before you deck out your product with bells and whistles. No reason to spend a lot of time on something that no one wants. ALSO - after running this first version of the course, I am seeing things that I missed, gaps that I made because I am so familiar with the material, and getting real life responses that will make the next version of my course WAY more valuable. Right now, I have a new runway to start actually making my online content profitable. In the future, I hope this will mean I can leave my day job. There are a lot more steps between here and there, but I feel like I understand the path now.
