In late November, I hesitated to reach out to people about my new program due to concerns about bothering them during the busy holiday season, especially considering my audience's limited energy for daily tasks. After confiding in my coach, Uwe Dockhorn, he encouraged me to see it as a potential solution for them. Overcoming my fears, I first approached a loyal client who eagerly embraced the program! Within two weeks, I secured three enthusiastic beta students and received positive feedback. Since then, I've even gained referrals! The response has been exciting, with upcoming conversations scheduled. My goal was to speak to 30 prospects, but still managed to reach 20, and feel very proud of myself! This experience has taught me a very valuable lesson: don't let apprehension hold you back—sometimes, what you offer can be a welcome solution. Keep pushing forward with a heart for service to your clients!
Your FIRST SALE Story
I was afraid of bothering people with my program conversations, given the holiday season was here. So I decided to speak first with a loyal client with whom I obviously have an excellent relationship, as a way of easing my way into the chatterbox process. Her response was very enthusiastic and she even decided to join as my first beta student, right on the spot! It represented a sale of $1497 USD. Her excited interest and positive feedback were really reassuring that I was on the right track with my program idea. It gave me the confidence I needed to continue spreading the word over the month of December, and ended up speaking with 20 people.
Your PROVED MY IDEA Story
I wasn't sure if my program idea would be perceived as something that was needed by my audience. Presenting it felt like a struggle at first, for fear of rejection. But, within the first two weeks of chatterboxing, 3 people had already decided to become beta students! So this was a wonderful confirmation that my fibromyalgia teaching and coaching program idea is perceived as valuable and the initial price point set so far is no obstacle either. So I'm continuing to speak to more people and I feel confident that I will have a solid product to offer for years to come. It's such a wonderful feeling!
I feel like it's growing in the direction I've been wanting for the past two years, so that I'll be able to ultimately help more people out there. I also feel like the way people perceive me now has also changed somehow, like moving from 1:1 to 1:few is a confirmation of my commitment to what I do maybe, I'm not sure. I certainly feel excited and hopeful. It has given me the tools I desperately needed to create a program of substance and to also be able to market it the right way immediately. I didn't know how to do either of these things just 3 months ago, and was very afraid of wasting precious time and resources only to end up failing and possibly even harming my practice along the way! I've learned so much through EPM that I already feel confident about creating more programs in the very near future! I can feel it in my bones already that my business is now on the path of growth and expansion that I've been dreaming of for quite some time! I feel more confident and very well supported by EPM, even going forward I feel like I've made a real connection to this community on the FB group and that I'll be able to return to it anytime for more support in the future as I continue to develop more products!
