I'm Alapaki Yee and the co-founder of the Gay Couples Institute, a licensed Marriage, and Family Therapist and Certified Gottman Method Therapist (that looks at how relationships fail and succeed, backed by science/research, not pop-psychology).
I live in San Francisco, CA, with my partner in life and business, Sam - also a licensed MFT and CGMT.
What excites me is that I'm building powerful tools to help gay men feel confident, be happy, and create strong relationships.
I'm creating a new gay relationship revolution! (Thanks Marisa for the 'How To Name Anything' training in EPM!)
We've have helped over 3000 couples since 2007, although we've struggled to take our platform online and getting clients.
Part of the problem has been our messaging and making our program simple, actionable, and clear.
When I saw EPM and listened to Marisa talk about creating an experience, I saw the missing pieces in our current online program.
I'm so excited to plug back into what we do and see it from new eyes.
