"Life leads us to where we need to be….

EPM, even without an official Mission Accomplished, has been a life-altering experience - in that is has given me great insight and, even more importantly, the tools to translate my life purpose vision of changing the world of cancer care and patient cancer experience to concrete reality. With an estimated 19+ million people with new cancers globally in 2020 and 50.5+ million living with cancer at least 5 years, my goals could be seen as insurmountable. I guess it’s a good thing my name is Faith.

My life has blessed me with an amazing pathway that has led me to Marisa and the EPM-LYM team, which will move from me from an exclusively pro bono world to that of compassionate monetization.

I trained as a surgical oncologist, with a joint medical and nutritional oncology fellowship and a PhD in Nutritional Sciences. Globally recognized as the creator of the Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA®), considered the gold standard reference for nutritional screening and assessment in patients with cancer, I am a passionate patient advocate and speaker, 49/50 states and 5/7 continents, addressing clinicians worldwide.

Prequalifying and Mission Statements thanks to Marisa and her EPM Team 2020.

You are committed to your patients and the importance of their nutritional status and body composition across the cancer care continuum – from diagnosis through recovery/survivorship, But are you and your time are spread too thin, especially with COVID, to accomplish what, in your heart, you know is necessary for each of your patients?

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to work directly with the creator of the PG-SGA, the gold standard of patient-centric nutrition screening/assessment, to become of PG-SGA Superhero and develop a personalized PG-SGA implementation plan in 6 weeks or less for your clinical setting or institution – so that you can gain control of your practice and give the nutritional care you know your patients deserve.

My first Experience Product target audience will be dietitians, with the opportunity to include at least one session with their interdisciplinary team members (physicians, nurses, pharmacist, physical therapists, etc.). This helps the target dietitian, elevates team perception of my client as a leader and opens the opportunity to grow the next Experience Product to this larger audience. Importantly, in parallel, these interactions open the doors to expanding these products to professional, scientific, governmental and patient advocacy organizations and agencies. And then TED talk, books, etc.

Four important questions:
1. What is the name of this all-encompassing business…What else but “Flying Leaps of Faith”?

2. Is all this just a nice dream or is there a basis to believe this is possible? Based on my pro bono developmental work, there are currently nearly 400 peer-reviewed PG-SGA articles in the medical literature and ~70 PG-SGA-based clinical trials posted on www.clinicaltrials.gov, global repository for clinical trials. Just envision what can be done now that I am with the tools the Marisa, Murray, Coach Ed and all the other member of EPM-LYM teams.

3. So why no MA yet? First, the need for an apocalyptic shift in mindset from nearly 3 decades of pro bono work, including development of at least three global volunteer research networks during this time to the next step of compassionate monetization. Second, Overextension. Marisa frequently cites Jim Rohn’s quote: “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” During the past year I have had the following mentors through coaching and challenges: Marisa Murgatroyd (EPM), Eben Pagan and Annie Lalla (Virtual Coach), Mark Lack (Personal Branding), Hal Elrod (The Miracle Morning), John Assaraf (Neurogym), and others. Love envisioning being the average of these remarkable people!

4. Next steps to MA? Multifold approach: LYM Live, Jumpstart Your Business Challenge, Daily blocked time for working on MA and ”Flying Leaps of Faith” (FLF) using all the tools shared by Marisa and my other mentors. I’ve even brought in a friend and colleague, who will be joining me at LYM-Live as “Project and Social Media Coordinator” into FLF.

Words do not suffice. A truly remarkable, life altering experience. Thank you, Marisa and team! I love you all. Faith "

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Just do it - and fly!

How did EPM help you become successful?
Practical aspects of converting my mindset from pro bono to compassionate monetization. And solidifying my belief in the inevitability of my audacious vision and plan.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
EPM -- combined with my other success mentors listed in my story above -- make me believe in the inevitability of my audacious vision and plan -- and my next and perhaps final (all-encompassing) career.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
The biggest change is going from dream to practicality. A belief in the inevitability of my audacious vision and plan.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
Turning my passions for 1) patients and other patients with catabolic conditions put them at risk for malnutrition and body composition change; 2) teaching and 3) making a difference in the quality and practice of cancer care globally from a pro bono to compassionate monetization model. And solidifying my the inevitability of my audacious vision and plan -- and next and perhaps final (all-encompassing) career.
