"I can't wait to xperiencify all my courses!""I have wanted to create an online course for years (ok, honestly a decade). When the pandemic hit, I thought, ""This is the time!"" but also lacked confidence and the technology skills to accomplish it--and all of it scared me. I really didn't know how to market something like this, and felt really overwhelmed by the learning curve of creating, marketing, and selling this course.
When I saw that Emily Fontes was recommending this program, it peaked my interest. She is well known in the birth community and I have seen her launch several courses (and I have taken some). I trusted her--and that has really paid off for me.
Joining EPM was a game changer. I have made huge strides in learning, growing, and being less afraid throughout the process. The accountability of the program made me create it, complete it, sell it, and learn how to do it over and over again.
I made it to mission accomplished, but the value was in the process for me. Making back my money wasn't the goal...my goal was to master HOW to do it so I could duplicate the process for everything I teach.
I have made digital products before. They sell...but not very well. They are useful to me in many other ways, but I knew there was something I was missing about marketing in a way that gets people to stay engaged and to create income vs. just having a teaching tool.
Although my product sold in a different way than I expected (to professionals instead of parents) I was able to internally shift to accept this as the process for me. I know how to avoid this in the future. I can pivot...again and again if needed.
The biggest takeaway for me? I am less scared. I have tools. I know I can fail fast, fix it, and move forward.
Now I can Xperiencify all the courses I already teach (4 for professionals, 3 more for parents) and I am SO EXCITED to start this process of adding wins, hitting the dopamine button, and keeping my students more engaged than ever.

What specifically did you do to experiencify your program? Give us an example of a core experience you implemented in your product.
Broke it into tiny pieces. Gave wins for every piece completed. Adding wins for checking out additional resources so they could learn more. Added wins for trying out the techniques. Added celebrations when it worked. Added points for sharing reviews.
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
I made a digital course! I know how to make another! I know many avenues how to sell it! I created gorgeous emails and know how to use an email list now. I bought a video program and now can make my own videos. I gained skills in technology that scared me so much before EPM. I am less afraid now!
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
Creating a practical path to getting this done has helped me lose the fear, iterate my way to awesome, and keep learning new things. Although I haven't been wildly successful like some others, I have created the ability for wild success in the future. And the possibilities are really expanding all the time.
