I have had a vision for what I am creating for years, it's had different names and shapes, but it just wasn't the time... January 2020 I decided it was time to turn my day dreams into something tangible. So March 6th 2020 I launch my new company, Kindred Collaborative, not knowing that everything was about to change.... The global shut downs due to the Corona virus took place that following week. My business flipped, and flopped, and pivoted for months.... Then I heard about EPM. I had worked with Coach Emily in the past and she said, "You would be a great fit for EPM," So I Jumped in and feel in love with the xperiencify model. It put words to all the things I have felt to be true about business and product delivery. I didn't hit Mission Accomplished, but that's okay. I learned a lot and became okay with making getting started choices that I have so much more momentum in all areas of my life, even outside of business! Which is so helpful for a busy mom!
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
I've always been okay with "Done is better than perfect" approach, It's probably the Enneagram 3 in me, but it was so good to have not only permission to do that, but be encouraged to just get stuff out there perfect or not.
