My dream has been to use my 20 yrs of experience as a holistic psychiatrist to develop training programs that would teach emotional awareness and management tools, empowered communication skills, and universal truths to help college students (or anyone) navigate life with more ease. I wanted to make a bigger impact. I wanted to create preventative emotional healthcare-- skills for life that have not been taught and still really aren't being taught. Then Covid happened, life happened, and I lost all inspiration. Luckily, the two women in my Mastermind group had already signed up for EPM and I watched them develop their experience products. I signed up hoping to be re-inspired and to learn the development process. My expectations were low. My confidence was super low. I struggled through many life obstacles in the beginning including a major health crisis and debilitating social anxiety. Even though I have been in business for 17 years, I never did any marketing. I don't have a website. I am not on social media. So much of the information from EPM was new yet made sense from a psychological perspective. I stayed on the bike with the help of Coach Debra. I learned the valuable lesson of done is better than perfect. I accepted many limitations. I faced many fears and doubts. I needed evidence that this career direction could be a viable option. My minimum goal required seven participants. I had six enrolled 24 hrs before GO TIME. Four signed up at the last minute which gave me 10!! It totally exemplified the marketing mindf*ck in action! And then, drum roll please, I delivered the first module of my 1: few training program yesterday, 11/10/20, with glowing results. This is such small potatoes compared to what others are achieving with EPM. For me, however, I am so utterly proud of what I achieved.
