For quite a while now, I’ve been interested in having my own small business and the freedom that would afford me. I’d often check out various business opportunity webinars, looking for something that felt right. When I came across Marisa’s webinar about EPM, the opportunity just rang true. I really “got” the idea of a product being an experience product and how important it is for clients to be able to envision a finish line snapshot. As I committed to the training, I was happy that there was plenty of support from my coach, Coach Melanie, and that I was learning approaches to product development that I’d be able to apply again and again as I grew my business.

Midway through the EPM training program, however, I was thrown a curve ball – I was diagnosed with cancer. Although my progress through the EPM program was certainly derailed for a time as I dealt with major surgery, medical procedures, doctor appointments, etc., I still felt inspired and supported enough to actually complete the EPM training.

I still feel like I'm behind on things and catching up, but technically I have launched. To me, it feels sort of like a "soft launch" because I don't have anykind of website/landing page set up and am still developing modules for the course. I've chatted with someone about it but don't have a sale. I was glad that she at least seemed to like the idea of the course though. I'm still hopeful that establishing a profitable experience product business will work out for me while I also prioritize my health.

What's been the biggest change in your business?
I started EMP with no business, so I'm a newbie at developing and offering any kind of product. My experience product has pivoted and been reworked more than once as I've moved through the program. I'm actually rethinking it even now in fact, but perhaps that's not a bad thing because I'm discovering more about what my strengths are and how to incorporate them in what I offer.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I'm hopeful that the experience product I've come up with (And am continuing to tweak) during EPM can help me establish a successful business and income for myself.

What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
I'm happy to have learned about experience products and know that anything I offer moving forward will be an experience product that offers transforation of some sort.

What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I'm continuing to get clearer on what I have to offer that can genuinely help someone else. I'm still really hopeful that I can start making some income with this experience product or any other one that I develop.
