I have been a high achiever all my life, with high standards. After a lifetime of performing violin professionally and teaching, I began to incorporate an online teaching model and "flipping the classroom" even years before Covid hit, so when it did, I just kept on going with my online studio. However, I decided that the only way to increase the scope of my reach was to market myself. This is a school we're not taught in music school! Tooting my own horn was not an approach I cared for, and marketing and technology were my chief obstacles. I was so excited to encounter the Experience Product Masterclass because I felt it would be a perfect fit for moving me toward my goals. I joined, and loved following the clear blueprint of trainings and worksheets, weekly coaching and tech guidance with excellent tools provided, that led me on a path to being able to clarify and iterate my own to - hopefully - AWESOME, even at the paper plane stage! I do feel I'm on my way. I know what are my next steps, in creating my course modules as I go, and I feel supported by the training materials and the tools which continue to be at my disposal, to continue chatterboxing, making more human connections, and pivoting into conversations with ideal clients. Now, crucially, I feel more confident knowing what to say to seal the deal, it's just practice, and soon will be bringing in sales, and income, and helping transform lives with my Experience Product. .
What's been the biggest change in your business?
The six inches between my ears, and getting organized with a plan. The most profound change has been in my approach to thinking about sales and marketing, thanks to Marisa's excellent training concept by repetition; drip drip drip... which is to listen to people with genuine interest, as they talk about their pains and wants, and give them what they need that is life transforming, so it's easy for them to say Yes.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
By completing the step wise modules, progressively being able to define my program, and working with the supportive and responsive coach who was assigned to me like an angel, learning from and interacting with my coaching pod, while observing what others are achieving and have achieved in past years by following these same clear steps, and putting in the thought, preparation and work, I have been convinced that I am capable of achieving my goals and my dreams also. I know this is just the first iteration, about which I am very excited, and I see how success at all stages, and reaching and surpassing goals, is a lifelong creative process.
What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Just keep going, don't stop, and don't be meek. To quote Marisa reiterating a well known maxim, "Most of the time, fortune favors the bold". Therefore, I strive to be a bold and fearless guide.
What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I have a plan of action to enlist students, Launch and Deliver, full of many steps, which will surely get my heart pumping.
