I was struggling to rebuild a thriving wellness business in a rapidly changing post-pandemic world where norms, relationships, and institutions are shaking beneath us. It is a world where people’s jobs are being replaced by machines or just left empty, and human intelligence is taking a back seat to Artificial intelligence. I was grappling with relevance, purpose, and who I could best serve. I believed there had to be a way, but I knew I needed new skills and support to get there. I joined the "Experience Product Masterclass on the recommendation of a coach I have known and trusted for years. That is when I faced my wariness of technology and how to use it for good. Marisa is brilliant. My assigned coach had just the right mix of experience, creativity, and support. My classmates were mostly entrepreneurs who were gentle and generous, all of whom were intent on bringing needed transformation into our world. All of the staff were helpful, timely, and positive. I took action by attending the online coaching sessions, reading, and working through the exercises. I made peace with the frustration of tech glitches and my limited knowledge of how to get the computer and AI to work for me in helping others. I thought I had a solid, safe topic, but found insufficient data to support creating that course and had to start over when the breakthrough topic idea came during one of our “pod calls”. The “Experience Product that I created is a combination of didactic factual learning with experiences to cement the knowledge in place and stay with the learner throughout a lifespan. There are built-in rewards and recognition. The course evolved over several weeks and through beta testing. The result was a course that hung together and served the people in it. I already have ideas for additional products and services I could offer. I now look forward to it rather than dreading the journey.
