"It all started in my childhood home where I was born to a mother and father who had issues. My dad was an alcoholic and being an only child in that situation, unbeknownst to the child at the time, wreaks havoc for your whole life in many ways.
My childhood was full of emotional dysfunction and trauma. Back then, in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, you didn’t seek treatment in most cases, you practiced covering it up. Talk about pushing things inside ourselves, I was the Queen of that.
My Dad died when I was 16. I got pregnant at 17. Got married, divorced at 20 and made many, many, many bad decisions for decades.
My third, count ‘em, third marriage has lasted 30 years. My husband is a recovering addict 33 years clean and sober. Life with him has had a tremendous effect on my view of being the daughter of an alcoholic.
I wanted to shout to the wind what all I learned to help me start healing. I wanted to send that message all over the world. There is HOPE for people like you and me!! So I joined a coaching program, and that relationship ended in November. It was successful, but not nearly as much as I had hoped. Not placing blame, just stating facts.
I was desperately seeking something to try one last time to get this going and I saw Marisa’s Crack Your Course Idea Challenge. I accepted that challenge and then joined EPM and the rest, as they say, is history. I can only describe this as a divine appointment. I know I was led here to this program that has turned out to be perfect for me. The truthfulness, the energy, the wisdom, the path forward always in view, great coaches, truly compassionate and empathic people from the top down in the company structures that are so well put together. It has been a win, win, win for me!! So glad I found this life-changing program. I now KNOW, my dream of impact and abundance can be realized. I know I can do this.
