Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
I had been working in my business for two years, and kept changing direction each time I discovered a new "expert" telling me what to do. I was working so hard, had great content, and was passionate about helping people. But I had no income and had to work another full time job to keep the bills paid. I was starting to wonder if I had to give up on my dream. I joined EPM and learned that I was trying to create a "jet plane version" of my course before ever talking to people who might benefit from it. So I started offering free breakthrough sessions in order to walk people through my offer, and was able to establish that there is indeed interest and need for my product! I now have a roadmap to continue moving forward and confidence I can indeed realize my dream.
What's been the biggest change in your business?
MVP Mindset for sure. Done is better than perfect, paper plane version, just get it down and learn as I go. It's a game changer.
How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
Well, I haven't had success yet so I still have some stress around money and my ability to make money with my course. But thanks to EPM I have HOPE that I can make this work after two years of trying.
What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Sell before I perfect my product! I now realize I was stuck in the perfectionism of making my course "perfect" BEFORE I had even spoken to one person about it!
What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I have always dreamed of recording and automating my course, coupled with live interaction. Now that I have an Experience Product, I plan to do just that! I have a roadmap to do it and a step-by-step plan.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
One piece of feedback. I understand Marisa is busy and her time is worth a lot, and that for a $2,500 course we are not going to get a lot of her. But it would have been nice to have at least one (maybe two?) Q&A sessions live with her at some point during the 12-week journey. The other coaches are great, but not as skilled as the hot-seat coaching I saw Marisa doing in some of the recorded trainings.
