Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
I created a course last year that was being delivered in-person but realized that after the workshops, small business owners were frustrated by trying to finalize their HR programs and processes by themselves. I joined EPM and as a result was able to fully develop a program that not only provides the education but a tool that will allow my students (small business owners) to put their processes in place, be HR compliant and be ready to effectively and efficiently hire, retain and develop their current or future employees. Now I am ready to put the training course into Xperiencify to deliver to small business owners so they don't have to stress over HR compliance.
Your FIRST SALE Story
As an HR Professional, one of the challenges that small business owners have expressed is that they don't know what they need to have in place for HR compliance and good HR business. Once I joined EPM, I was able to fully develop my program that not only provides the education but a tool that will allow my students (small business owners) to put their processes in place, be HR compliant and be ready to effectively and efficiently hire, retain and develop their current or future employees. As I used the chatterboxing approach, I reached out to some of my existing clients who have expressed this concern. My program (which is a combination of live workshops and online coursework) is designed to roll out in October but I have one client who wants the program now so I will be offering as a 1:1 option and has already paid for this service. I have 3 other clients that are also ready to the October session so I will be invoicing them soon.
What's been the biggest change in your business?
I now have a systematic approach for how to develop and deliver my training so that they receive the education in a planned and fun way. I am excited to be able to offer worksheets and downloads through the Xpericiencify platform.
How's EPM and your success impacted your life?
EPM has definitely impacted my ability to stand out among the competition. When I roll this program out fully, I now have a "secret sauce" that is not only cutting edge, it will make a huge impact and difference to the small business owners who use it.
What's your biggest takeaway from EPM?
My biggest takeaway from EPM is the process used to actually formalize my training program. By working through the weekly modules, I have been able to develop the story around my program in addition to actually developing the course content. For example: The guidance around creating a survey to determine the needs and challenges of my target audience was VERY helpful. I got data that verified that the work I was doing was needed and would be beneficial to small business owners. I sent the results of the survey to those who provided their email address in the anonymous survey and that is where 3 of my future clients are coming from.
What's now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I can not only reach my target audience through the tools provided but I can provide a service in a way that will be interesting, exciting and educational all at the same time. This will make a huge difference to small business owners who don't have HR support in-house to be able to put their key HR processes in place to be compliant as well as prepared to hire contractors or employees as their small business grows.
