Your GRADUATION Story
"I have been planning to launch a business of writing custom wedding music since 2021 but I had no clue how to begin. I had notes and ideas scratched on notepads on my computer. I built up my music composition and recording skills. I listened to podcasts on how to start a small business. But I was stuck in the ""Idea"" stage.
Until I found Marisa. I heard her speak on a YouTube podcast and realized that EPM could be the thing to help me turn my dream into reality. At first, I was overwhelmed and tried to alter my business model to fit into a more standard ""course"" format.
But the direction I was taking wasn't feeling authentic and so I realized that I would only succeed if I stayed true to my original vision. And Marisa's constant encouraging to iterate and pivot gave me the mental green light I needed to switch tracks midstream. With Coach Lucas' encouraging, I made some adjustments and landed on my MVP idea.
Since then, I have learned how to connect with potential clients online and I even joined a local wedding vendor association. I surveyed people in person, asking them for feedback on my idea, and got great feedback in those conversations.
I was encouraged to start marketing my done-for-you service at a local bridal event this coming weekend, and even though I don't feel ""ready"", I am forcing myself to overcome my tendency to over-prepare. Instead, I am trusting Marisa's advice to start small and build as I go. I am going to use my initial consult meetings to learn more about exactly what engaged couples are looking for, and I will build my client procedures accordingly.
I am incredibly grateful for finding EPM. The program is so full of information, I know I will come back to it again and again for years to come.

My business changed from dreamy ideas on paper into a real product, planned and launching Taking my idea to reality has given me a level of confidence I haven't felt before. That it is okay to launch something that is still "in process". If you provide value to your client, it's okay that every single detail is not planned out in advance. It's okay to iterate and improve as you grow. I can now feel confident that charging several hundred dollars for my service is legitimate because I have the mission, vision, and deliverables to back up my price point.
