Your GRADUATION Story
I was having the challenge of procrastinating with creating an online course for kids because I wasn't sure about how to find a focus for my course. I had a lot of ideas swirling in my head regarding topics from emotional intelligence and positive psychology but not a clear course outline. I joined EPM and I was able to not only formulate modules for my course, I was able to more clearly communicate the features and benefits, and come up with a plan of how to speak about my course to people. Before, I was at a loss for words when asked to describe what I teach. Without the step by step videos from Marisa and the accountability factor of having a coach give feedback on my milestone documents, I may not have completed the process of planning out the details of launching my course. I now have more confidence to offer my course and to speak about it with people that I meet.
I now have a way to transition from 1:1 tutoring to 1:few classes which allows me to better leverage my time and a way to make more money with teaching. I'm significantly closer to my dream;I feel I've been equipped with ways to create a quality course and I feel I have so many bonus business tools to refer to on my journey. I am able to complete goals if I have smaller milestone goals with deadlines. I do need to motivate myself with rewards and incorporate accountability. I am able to create courses --able to go from ideas swirling in my head to creating clear modules with a photo finish line for students. Through this program, I've learned a lot of details about how to make the course effective which many people probably don't ever learn (or only learn after a lot of trial and error). Marisa has saved me a lot of trial and error by providing invaluable keys to what makes a course effective.
The course content (amount of information packed into the videos and the bonus videos) is beyond a 10. I only put a 9 above because I feel that EPM is more suited to certain people than others. For the price point, I feel that you deliver more than other courses at that price point --coaching 2x a week + tech coaching. The only thing I would say is that I think it's better to be transparent about the "small group coaching" --so that people are prepared that their coaching pod is @70 people. Knowing that would not have prevented me from signing up for the course and I would have been prepared that my "small group" was a certain size (I was expecting a smaller group). For me, the course was invaluable and I'm grateful that Marisa offers it at an affordable price. I've hunted around for some time for a course that could help me and I believe that Marisa has the rare combination of a big heart, true follow-through, and ninja teaching skills which are entertaining to boot!
