Your GRADUATION Story
I created a great project that I wanted to monetize and I joined EPM for that purpose. Although my program was viable and had been running for five years, EPM taught me how to market the idea to an audience of people who were looking for what I'm selling. I'm still struggling with promotion but believe I'm on the right track.

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
My first mission accomplished was to launch my MVP, and I successfully did that and had an initial sell that was later rescinded, but that almost sell encouraged me and made me believe I am on the right track.

Your FIRST SALE Story
I haven't realized my first sale as of yet. I pitched my project and had a taker, but they backed out at the last minute. This at least allowed me to confirm the viability of my project, but also indicated that I need to refine my messaging so that it's irresistible. I'm still iterating to that point, but am confident that I will get that secret sauce and make money from my EPM.

Your PROVED MY IDEA Story
My first mission accomplished was to launch my MVP, and I successfully did that and had an initial sell that was later rescinded, but that almost sell encouraged me and made me believe I am on the right track.

The biggest change is that I am actually monetizing one of the many projects that people enjoy and use. While I have not yet made a sell, I'm confident that I will be able to do so. EPM is super intense and has absorbed a great deal of time, however, I am happy I invested in the course and have developed some amazing relations from this great community. Marketing to the right audience with the right message is essential. And as crowded as the marketplace is, there is an audience for what I've created. I have yet to make money from my EPM, but I hope it will replace my current income by May and allow me the flexibility of working on solving a problem that is near and dear to my heart.

"I believe the program provided a great deal of value for the investment I made, but I was disappointed with the limited coaching and the program inflexibility. I am spatially challenged, have lived overseas for two decades and still can't get the time zone change down to save my life.

That being said, when I selected my coaching time, my first choice cut into 30 minutes of a course that I was teaching. I explained this to Coach Melanie and she told lie she would prioritize my questions so that I would be called on before I had to go to work. Then a few weeks later, when daylight savings time kicked in, the entire coaching call overlapped my course and only allowed for 15 minutes at the end of class to jump on the weekly coaching call. I requested a shift in coaching calls, not a shift in Pods and I was told that it was too late to do so. So for 5 weeks of coaching calls, I was unavailable. Coach Melanie said she would make me as present if I jumped on for the last 15 minutes of the call so I could qualify for the guarantee, if that was Ok. and I said that it was not. My call was then sent to Support whose response was I was given the time I selected and it was too late to change PODS and the calls were too full to allow me to sit in on another PODs call. I have never been on a coaching call that was full, and found this inflexibility daunting. I was at a critical period in my course development and was told DIY. Reassured that I still could email and participate in Marissa's Monday calls, but Marissa pointedly did not answer calls from students she previously helped. The one call she responded to she suggested I pivot and my failure to articulate why her suggestion would not work for me, nullified the opportunity of that call. So, I was still no further along after that hottest call than I was before it, however, it did get me clearer on niches I didn't want to delve into.

This entire process was really demotivating because as I struggled through my course, I had email support with very brief messages that I often had to interpret and have gone twice awaiting responses over 5 days from my Coach. I think if the support had been provided, my messagings would be much tighter and I would have more confidence in approaching potential customers. As it stands now, I'm just chugging along, hoping I can iterate my course to being monetizable."
