Your GRADUATION Story
"Graduation Story for EPM
I have not recently created a program or clients, having retired, and having gone through Covid. I was in Thrive Academy from 2016 and worked on my niche but did not get anything off the ground. I flitted from niche to niche. I am not sure what inspired me, but I had added to my skill set and want to practice and accomplish over and above my ""failure to launch"".
I was ready to develop something, then the email came describing EPM and Live Your Message with Marisa. This was likely through leverage with Penelope Jane Smith. EPM looked like it might help with the missing pieces. I was not wrong, as I have come so much farther with this program and have developed the framework, including great details about what it is I have to offer, and for once, I have not pivoted away from this niche. I have pivoted in ways like changing the Microniche from working in Retirement/Legacy to Personal Skill Development. I now love what I am offering. I am stuck at the Chatterbox area, but I will still finish because I am going to launch.
I slowed myself down in a couple of ways. First, I chose to go to Client Attraction Mastery with Thrive Academy and the 24-day challenge coincided with EPM. It was not the same tracking in terms of when to chat up clients. That program helped in having a more personal connection with that community, and I kept up with the calls and Milestones for EPM. I met them all, I think. The quality of coaching and the links and tech guidance have been top notch.
I found myself losing momentum during the Christmas break. There was more to do, and less time to do it. It was time to chat, and I fell into my pattern of being shy to post on Facebook. I looked at Linked-In but felt that would not be my platform because I have been only minimally involved. I have not used Instagram with any purpose, and TikTok seems to be for a younger generation. I tried Linked-In Sales Navigator but did not use it, so after a month I chose not to continue.
Entering January, I was slower, and then I missed calls, and making them up is not easy. I did catch up, and also found a couple that I had missed earlier. I fell behind on Ainsley. Then two weeks ago my stepdaughter's boyfriend shot and killed by her; he committed suicide when the police came. That was a tragedy to not ignore, involves travel, support, complicated relationships, and crying whenever, wherever.
Still, it comes up to keep on going despite my inner turmoil about not having enough time. Actually, I may present my group program in my community if there is interest. I am happy to present to three to ten people or so, and to try out my processes. In addition, I am in alignment with progress over perfection.
I am now on temporary semi hold with my program and envision being ready to boot after completing necessary travel and health concerns in February and March. Meanwhile, that gives me time to continue meaningful FB posts that will set my stage, give people more of an idea of who I am and what I have to offer, and to put more pieces in place. I need to make a choice about Xperiencify by the 29th, and I am on board, just need to figure out which program.
I am really pleased with my progress, and if Chatterbox is part of the guarantee, then I do not qualify, but I also think I have just accomplished an amazing program and just because I have not launched there is no reason for me to stop moving forward. I look forward to inspiring my people and I feel I can influence their discovery of creativity, meaning, and joy in living.
