"DESIGNER CONFIDENTIAL VISION
I have always been a teacher in my profession , as an interior designer without knowing it clearly. It ranged from the experience of having a new batch of interns in my design studio each year to explaining to my developers the importance of space planning .
The essence of Design is all about understanding your surroundings and making the correct choices in creating spaces to support how you live work and restore. My practice of meditation has informed how I approach the practice of design . It is so essential to your sense of well being , clearly that is why it is referred to as a practice. A practice I love
I have always considered interiors as launch pads for creativity . For a few years I have been creating E books and for half a year I had a LIVE feed on Instagram called Designer on Call. I answered design questions live online . How to transform this into a business model was always the question I was challenged to answer.
How to create an online course and share it with the world was a concept too huge for me to consider. It has been so frustrating to create all this content with no clear path to communicate . I joined EPM just when I was about to sign up for a standard online course model . This idea of the experience fascinated me at the onset . To date I have developed more clarity on my mission , to inspire the next generation of design change makers . Having a coach to guide me was the key. I did not miss one Wednesday session since the very first day.
To date I have not signed up anyone but I honestly feel like the wave is on its way as the clarity of intention to serve and inspire has been crystalized. The result is knowing that I can and I will and that means everything to me .

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
"My mission has been accomplished in that I have greater clarity on who I am serving and why. The program has everything one would need to articulate their vision . The one key
lesson is not to get caught up in perfection. To create with the idea of flexibility in mind was the answer. Perfection paralysis is real , and I have lost years . The EPM program ignited that passion and I have all the tools I need to check off mission accomplished and proceeding on my path . "
Your PROVED MY IDEA Story
I have never crafted a survey before this course . It was a huge milestone for me to accomplish . I not only made one but three surveys as I now understood the purpose . The essence of communicating to who I am serving . The insight was tremendous and I confirmed there is a need for people to understand that you can create a design business without going to design school for four years .
My perspective that I can proceed in action , knowing I can pivot and adapt . That I no longer fear judgement of others when I am clear on my purpose and how I show up and serve. "TREMENDOUSLY Marisa's commitment has been astounding to witness . The all she gives when ever we have a session. How she never gives up and is always seeking an insight, a clue to lead to an awakening and opening for her student. The reminder not to compare.
BIG lesson of EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE " That I can make a commitment to myself and my vision to serve and that it will impact lives for the better . That is HUGE "I already took a public speaking immersion class and had my first presentation in the NY design building to show up as the expert that I am in my field . That confidence boost was tremendous . I know I can get on social media now and craft messages on how I can serve
and create a design community that is mutually supportive . "
