Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
"I had stalled at the point of setting up the features and benefits for each of my modules and their associated resources. Over a few days, I kept poring over them, struggling with the format, but in reality, struggling with ""not-good-enoughness"". I was frozen, knowing I just needed to get past it, but struggling with making a fool of myself if I didn't have the ""right"" combination. My coach, Jennifer Rada, shared in a pod call how excited she was to see us all get to completing the MVP track - and it was just the spark I needed. I filled out my milestone doc within an hour of the end of the pod call, and pushed through the next modules. When I felt that same frozen feeling again at the point of launch, I reflected on Jennifer's comment of ""run towards the cave"" (or the thing you're afraid of). It's been hard, and I've still leaned into that discomfort. And because of that, I've just today completed my first full chatterbox conversation - and am quite happy that I didn't sign up a client who was a poor fit for what I'm offering.
Not so long ago, losing a sale would have left me very despondent. Today I find myself pleasantly surprised at how excited and proud of myself I am. Between us, my prospect and I arrived at a No in a most respectful and positive manner. And that is a pretty big win!"
I think my mindset is gradually shifting, so that I am more accepting of the need for all the rejections along the way, without them being a reflection on me personally. I haven't classed myself as successful yet, so not sure! #progressoverperfection Until it sells - not sure!
