Your GRADUATION Story
While I was completing an MA in counseling (marriage, couples, and family track) and providing therapy to different populations to complete my clinical hours for licensure, I became increasingly aware of ethical concerns surrounding insurance practices and the medical model of diagnosis it imposed on mental health. I also became dissatisfied with the myopic and outdated methodologies and discriminatory assumptions that perpetuated a harmful status quo, which hurt more than helped many clients who held minoritized and oppressed identities (BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, people with disabilities, etc.). I started incorporating small interventions that tried to incorporate and synthesize simple, more embodied emotional and experiential practices with gamification as well as more familiar cognitive approaches. I wanted to focus my work on adult romantic relationships, which is generally not covered by insurance, and I wanted the flexibility to design my own method, work remotely, and set my own hours. So, coaching and consulting felt like a more fitting direction for me. But I'm not tech savvy, have not run a business or don't marketing before and didn't know where to start! I saw an ad for a free webinar about hacks informed by the neuroscience I'd been researching on my own - including a gamification and reward system I'd wanted to incorporate into my coaching program - to design a course people would engage with and complete. The Call to Action at the end was to sign up for Experience Product Masterclass, which I did! EPM and the coaches have done a great job of showing us how the different components of designing a few types of coaching courses and organizing and launching a small business is a matter of clarifying priorities, focusing on one or two at a time, and connecting with people through a service mindset. They provided so many practical resources along the way, too! I gained a lot of understanding about how to build out and present my course content, and how little it can take to get this off the ground. With the expert guidance provided in EPM, I reached all my milestones on time and graduated! I am still refining a few action tasks and lessons in my course before setting-up my Xperiencify course page, but I do have my course and business blueprint in place, just formed my LLC and made my first post about my course on Facebook, and plan to launch by the end of EPM!

I had started to design a more experiential, gamified coaching product and needed a compatible platform. I was able to find that platform in Xperiencify and get the education and guidance to create and soon launch my MVP through EPM! EPM also helped me refine both my program and business names and logos, and I have just formed my LLC, started chatterboxing, and still plan to launch by then end of EPM! EPM gave me the roadmap I was looking for, where emotion, experience, and vision enable deep learning and progress, and more confidence to try, fail, learn, pivot, and try better! I can get what I want as long as I will figure out how to help others get something they want! I learned a process for getting started!
