Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
I was being criticized at work for not delivering the work fast enough. I wasn't sure how to fix that because I was working almost 18 hour days at times trying to do a good job only to hear that I was still falling short. The idea that more could be expected of me made me angry, but it became clear it wasn't a manner of more hours that I needed. I needed to work differently. I joined this program around the time this was happening to me and I knew I had an idea for a class: I would teach artists how to work smarter not harder to avoid working the grueling hours that so many of them did. I would research what the best were doing and democratize it to everyone else. Doing this class forced me to talk to more people to confirm they too were overworked and it seemed universal across the board. I began applying myself to the work in the program and it became clear that everyone wanted to get more done in less time, but no one was really thinking it was possible. Everyone had accepted overworking and burnout as a fact of the industry, but I was determined to offer solutions. I started scheduling calls with people from the internet on relevant Discords and I found out that they were all interested in my product once it comes out! I am going to send them the link to it as soon as its available!
