"I had been trying to build and launch a course for some time based around my passion for playing music and in particular, the harmonica. I had studied other courses and content about course building and marketing, and although I learned many skills and made progress, I always felt overwhelmed with the task ahead. I would vacillate between various topics to teach without making a decision on any of them.

I have learned so much from the course. The way it is structured is brilliant and has helped me to stay focused on building my course and getting it out there. Mike has been a brilliant coach. He is so sharp and has done so much extra to help.
One of the biggest realisations I had was to start small with a 1:1 coaching course, iron out the kinks, and then scale. Nobody else I know of is teaching this, yet it now seems so obvious to do to manage growth sustainably, and once I decided to do this, so much stress was lifted from me.
I also love progress over perfection and iterate your way to awesome.
I have started marketing the course and having sales conversations. I haven't had a sale of the course yet but one conversation led to another sale of a block of teaching time.
Unfortunately, just as I started chatterboxing, my computer had a fault that looks like it will take 10+ days to fix under the guarantee I have. It's a powerful laptop that I need for my work, so I haven't felt confident continuing until I have it back. That means I'm in hiatus at the moment, waiting for the computer so I can race ahead and make my first sale, so hopefully I'm back into it in a few days. In the meantime, I'm going over my work so far and looking at the bonus material that can help me."
