I had conducted a reminiscing program for seniors for over 20 years but always delivered as a volunteer. I am days away from my 79th birthday and know I can't share my stories with everyone personally, so in order to magnify my reach and at the same time monetize my proprietary product, I signed up for LYM EPM. The course was amazing but at the same time challenging particularly in the tech department. I was determined to finish the modules on time, helped by the "Determined You Will Succeed Coach Debra". After testing positive for COVID last week I still managed to get my first offer to purchase completed to an Activity Director in a facility where I had previously performed my Rhymes of Times poetry for her residents. I don't have sales yet but am optimistic that I will soon.
It has opened up a whole new world of opportunity and showed me what is possible.
A secondary outcome is I made use of a hobby and am turning it into an income stream and a third impact is my Rhymes of Times will live on as a legacy.
Having learned the process there are a lot of other audiences I can approach with a modified course but still using my proprietary product. Down the road, I may put together a tide and current course which would be awesome on Experiencify to reward each right answer. I taught tides and currents as a volunteer for many years to Power and Sail Squadron students and they are thinking of dropping this module from their courses. Bad idea if you live on the West Coast!
