I always shied away from conflict. If someone tried to confront me I would run away or fold. And I couldn't stand the sight of people arguing. Then I took a mediation training class and began to see that I could learn a whole new way of communicating in the face of conflict to not only survive but thrive. I took more courses and began to want to help others to become peacemakers, too. Through my volunteer work we launched High School Mediation Tournaments to give kids a safe space and an engaging way to build conflict resolution skills. But I was lacking the confidence to launch my Peacemaker's Toolkit course to help teachers learn what mediation is and how to recruit and coach their first high school mediation team. I wasn’t sure I could ever get it done. I joined Experience Product Masterclass and although it was painful to overcome my resistance, I persevered and kept taking baby steps to complete the program. As I look back, I am amazed at how much I accomplished and how much clearer I got about my offer. Because of my shift in attitude and productivity, everything started to fall into place and people and resources came out of the woodwork to help me create and deliver the product! I started telling teachers about it and got an immediate yes!
