For several years, I have been teaching self-development classes and doing life coaching as ...a HOBBY. I have all this training, education and life experience and just could not seem to create a viable business. I knew I was capable of making a difference in people's lives, I saw that happen when working with clients and friends, but I did not know how to create a business that would allow me to reach more people, spread the transformation that I saw happening on a very small scale. I joined the Experience Product Masterclass and realized that although I intellectually knew my gifts, skills, education and ability to be a safe space that allows people to grow, part of me still felt "not enough". As I worked my way through the program and wrote out my story, I realized, and for some reason it made a difference, that my father, just shook his head at the psych and social sciences I loved to dig into, was the very person who had given me my first self-help book in high school. The book was Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People." This insight allowed me to acknowledge all the years I have been reading the books, listening to the tapes/ videos/ now YouTube, going to lectures, participating in classes, and practicing during the past 5 decades to be a Life Coach and Teacher/ Facilitator of transformation. Then there were the testimonies that we were required to ask for and receive - tears of joy. My confidence has grown, I created an eight week Coaching program that includes at least 23 hours of 1:1 coaching and am working with a friend, trading for some photo/ logo work and gradually tweaking the program and creating all the Deliverables as we go. Bottom line, I am coming away with a product that I know can help people like myself who may be stuck when it comes to taking the step by step action they already know they need to take to accomplish their goals... AND I have total confidence that I can deliver more than they expect and exactly what they need during the 8 week program.
