2021
"I launched, chatterboxed and sold 4 spots in my "beta beta" or extreme MVP version of the course."

I wanted to create an online course but I had no idea how to go about it or even how to decide what to teach. I joined EPM and got crystal clear on all aspects of this, from how to choose a niche and create a course that would really sell, to designing that course in an engaging way that would increase the odds of getting my students to the transformation they are looking for. Then I faced another challenge: I would have considerably less time in 2022 than I had originally anticipated to build and deliver this course. At first I thought I would have to put this dream on pause, but I decided to go for a "beta beta" course approach instead, just to keep moving forward. I launched, chatterboxed and sold 4 spots in my "beta beta" or extreme MVP version of the course. My goal is to get extra time to translate and prepare the course materials without the pressure of "delivering their money's worth" and by a specific date. I'm going to test ideas for other online courses with this group as well, so if all goes according to plan I should close the year with more experience, useful client feedback, and 1-3 online courses fully ready to launch in their next and improved iteration. In selling my "beta beta" version I discovered I had trouble asking for even this very reduced price, so I am going to prioritize working on this and definitely raise my price point for my next launch.
