I have to say the format of this class suits me to a tee! I loved getting a small bite of information and immediately implementing it with the worksheet and Milestone Document. And I loved getting new information with each video, and learning how to scale and frame the offering to be focused on pin-pointed results and brilliant languaging. I woke up thrilled with the idea that I might have a completed course in 12 weeks. I got so much clarity about how to focus the course and market it. Things that will serve me well with other projects. To have a mission statement for instance. In the past in-person trainings I did, I would know my mission for what I wanted my participants to walk away with, but it wasn’t stated to participants. I really like the idea of making that central to the messaging and to the training. I was on the edge of my seat and madly taking notes with the “Get It Done Friday” calls because the tech aspect is the biggest hurdle for me. I watched the recordings sometimes as much as 4 times. I loved the Monday with Marisa calls. Those taught me more than the videos in how to frame things with real examples. The course made me dream of producing something remarkable. That maybe there was a way to get the experiential involvement that was the core off my in-person trainings, to translate to online learning. I must say, I am disappointed with the product I produced. Ultimately, it is a zoom call with slides, which is what I would have done on my own without this course. Minimum viable it is, but definitely not a dream. That given, I probably wouldn’t have gotten customers to buy it, and all the marketing knowledge that I learned is invaluable. Of course I still haven’t sold it. I had one conversation and the person said they would let me test it on them, but I didn’t ask for payment. I am still in the midst of being stuck. I have to get someone to help me with the technology. I have the recommended new camera and microphone and no idea how to hook them up or use them. (Who knew they would not come with instructions for dummies. LOL) Until I get practice and comfort with online presentation and wandering in the maze of Facebook, I’m avoiding marketing. Still have a week to get past that hurdle. Sorry I don’t have a story of transformation and sorry that I am not pleased with my product, but I have loved the course until I got stuck, and I appreciate how beautifully it is put together and delivered. Really appreciate it! Thank you.
