I knew (or at least thought) I had a great product idea, but there was so much to learn and I didn't know where to start. There is a lot of information out there and a lot of people selling courses on How to Make Courses - it was overwhelming. I joined the 2021 Experience Product Masterclass and learned that how you put together your course is just as important as the information you include in your course. I am trying to follow Marissa's examples, as taking the class helped me learn a lot about putting together a class and I am farther forward than I was before starting EPM.
THIS NEXT PART IF FOR FEEDBACK, NOT FOR YOUR MARKETING (since I didn't know if we'd be asked for feedback elsewhere). Although I like Jordan as a person, I feel like she needs a little more guidance before being a coach. Her feedback was very minimal (mostly just checked off my milestones without giving any feedback even when I had questions) and others in our pod have mentioned the same to me.
Also, the program breaks everything down well, but it is very slow at the beginning and almost too fast at the end. The only other suggestion I would make is to make the money back guarantee more clear before we have to commit. I immediately emailed when I found out we had to chatterbox with so many people. I said I didn't know 150 people to talk to the program about (and the survey and other tips in the program didn't generate more contacts), so although I contacted more than 50 people,
I didn't get to the closing pivot which is what constitutes the agreement for the money back guarantee. That was disappointing as was the information that the bonuses have no guaranteed timeframe (I get that partners can't guarantee to be there forever, but at least knowing they will be available for 2 months would be helpful. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the program and I do think Marisa is sincere in over delivering, I just wanted to tell you my full experience and not just my "success" story.
